because you delayed my meal time

She sat slumped in Fengxing's lobby with no intention of leaving. It wasn't until the personnel department issued an order to expel her that she was forcefully dragged out of the Fengxing building by security guards.

After being taken to the CEO's office by Shi Jing, Qian Qianqian was in a state of confusion from beginning to end. She watched with blank eyes as Shi Jing closed the office door, and saw that the original sullen look on his face was no longer there, and once again

He returned to his usual lazy and leisurely attitude.

But seeing him turn his attention to her, he glanced at her sideways, and said angrily: "Qian Qianqian, are you willing to wait until I starve to death before you are willing to give me food?"

His deep voice brought Qian Qianqian out of her confusion. She raised her eyes to look at the mirror. She paused for a moment, then walked quickly towards him carrying the lunch box.

"Your hand hasn't healed yet. The dishes I cook are relatively bland, so don't be picky about your food."

As he spoke, he took out the dishes from the lunch box and put them on the coffee table. After passing the chopsticks to Shi Jing, he looked like he was hesitant to speak again.

Noticing the strange look on her face, Shi Jing stopped preparing to eat, looked sideways at her, and said:

"What questions do you have for me?"

Hearing Shi Jing ask this question, Qian Qianqian's eyes couldn't help but show surprise. As expected of Master Shi, he could guess what she wanted to do.

After finally controlling the surprise in her eyes, she straightened her expression. After hesitating for a while, she looked at the mirror and asked hesitantly:

"Why did you fire Liao Sisi?"

Shi Jing's eyebrows raised slightly because of her question. He looked at her, pursed his thin lips into a line, paused for a long time and then said:

"Because you delayed my meal time."

"It doesn't seem to be any of her business."

Although she hated Liao Sisi, she didn't want others to lose their jobs because of her.

Looking for a new job is not a pleasant feeling, she has experienced this firsthand. It would seem a bit unkind if Shi Jing really fired Liao Sisi because of her words of apology.

But Shi Jing just looked at her disapprovingly and said in a casual voice: "She said she wanted to apologize for you, and I accepted it."

Sure enough, it was for this reason that Qian Qianqian became a little anxious. She stretched out her hand to hold Shi Jing's arm and said, "Shi Jing, are you kidding me by doing this? You clearly know that the person who was expelled by Fengxing wants to find him again."

Work will be difficult.”

"That's her business."

Shi Jing raised his eyebrows and answered nonchalantly. Looking at Qian Qianqian's anxious look, he looked disapproving.

And his attitude and wording made Qian Qianqian feel quite unhappy in her heart, and her attitude became much worse. Perhaps because of her empathy, she didn't agree with Shi Jing's approach.

"Shi Jing, how could you do this? You decide the future fate of others with just one sentence. Isn't it too overbearing and unhuman?"

It was because of his words that she was laid off in the first place.

He is an omnipotent god who can decide everything with just one sentence. The life and death of others is just a matter of conversation and laughter to him.

It's a pity that his omnipotence always likes to be used to suppress others.

"Qian Qianqian!!!"

Shi Jing's face suddenly turned dark because of her words. He heard the reproach in Qian Qianqian's tone, and the annoyance in his heart was rushed straight to his forehead.

This damn stupid woman, why does he stand up for her in so many things? Standing up for such an ungrateful woman is simply asking for trouble.
