Eliminate the plague

"If you want to live, listen to me." Xue Qing walked towards the sacrificial altar, and the villagers gave way one after another. They had seen her superb martial arts and did not dare to move again, lest they end up like the village chief.

Xue Qing walked up to the sacrificial altar and untied the ropes for the four children. One of the eight or nine-year-old girl cried with tears on her face and hugged Xue Qing's legs tightly: "Sister, save us!"

This nine-year-old girl was the oldest, and she seemed to understand that the people in the village wanted to kill her, and that her parents had already died in the plague.

A warm smile appeared on Xueqing's frosty face: "Don't be afraid, no one can hurt you."

Soon, another cavalry team arrived. They were young disciples from Xue Qing's "Tianxue" Medical Clinic, eight boys and girls aged seventeen or eighteen.

"Museum owner." They brought various medicinal materials and some necessary equipment.

Xue Qing nodded slightly, indicating that she would start rescuing people. She asked the villagers to open the thatched hut, and she and the disciples from the medical center put on anti-epidemic masks and went inside.

Three days have passed. No one in the village has died from the plague, and their conditions have been well controlled.

After several days, the plague was completely under control, and several patients recovered completely. They all cried with joy and were grateful to Xueqing for saving their lives.

"Gods, they are really living gods!" People in the village knelt down to worship Xue Qing.

"Stop worshiping. There are no ghosts or gods in this world." Xue Qing said lightly. She is not a god, she only has the heart of a healer.

After the plague was under control, Xue Qing left a few disciples of the medical center to continue waiting, ordering them to wait until everyone recovered before leaving.

The other disciples followed Xue Qing back to the "Tianxue" Medical Center.

When Xue Qing was about to leave, the nine-year-old girl she had rescued knelt at her feet: "Sister, please take me away, okay?"

The little girl looked panicked and helpless, looking at Xueqing with a pair of bright eyes.

"Where are your parents?"

"They... are dead."

"May I have your name?"

"Xiaoyu, Ye Xiaoyu."

Xue Qing nodded slightly, unable to bear to reject this child. She had lost her parents and her life would not be easy in the future, so Xue Qing agreed to take her back to the hospital with her.

"Sister, this is for you." Ye Xiaoyu gave Xueqing a cute mask, which was her favorite toy.

When Xue Qing got this mask, she felt a lot at the same time. She remembered that tall man many years ago, wearing elegant white clothes and brocade robes. He always had a mask on his cold and proud face.

From the moment she met him to the moment she separated from him, she never had the chance to see clearly the face under the mask. His eyes were always looking up to the sky, pure white pupils, contemptuous of everything in the world, and there would never be a shadow of her.

.

"Sister, what's wrong with you?" Ye Xiaoyu noticed something strange about Xue Qing.

"Nothing, I just remembered a friend from a long time ago." Xue Qing's eyes flashed with a strange light, wondering if there would be a chance to meet again in the future.

"I understand, just like Xiaoyu misses her parents." Ye Xiaoyu's eyes were red, "My parents are good people, and they love Xiaoyu the most."

Xue Qing gently took Xiaoyu's hand. If she had passed by this place earlier and discovered the plague here, she might have been able to save more people.

"I killed your village chief, do you think I am a good person?" Xue Qing asked.

"Yes." Ye Xiaoyu nodded vigorously, "The village chief wanted to kill us, but the eldest sister saved me and saved many people, so the eldest sister is a good person."
