i didn't wait for you

Leng Yan wants a child so much that he doesn't hesitate to have a cold war with her.

But she doesn't want to have children.

At least she didn't want to have children until her heart knot was resolved.

But she didn't want to have a cold war with Leng Yan, so Xia Nuo decided to please him and reconcile with him.

She took the recipe and cooked many of Leng Yan's favorite dishes, then picked up her cell phone and dialed his number.

"Hello, Xia Nuo." The phone was connected after only two rings, and a cold voice came from the other end, with a hint of joy.

Xia Nuo asked him with a smile: "When will you come back today?"

Leng Yan glanced at the time and saw that it was already five o'clock in the afternoon. He turned off the computer and said, "You can go back soon."

"Okay, I'll prepare a meal for you when you come back."

"Yeah." Leng Yan responded softly, his voice a little pleasant.

Xia Nuo hung up the phone and felt much relieved. Leng Yan's attitude towards her had not changed at all, you could tell just by listening to his voice.

She kept a smile on her lips, not realizing how much the cold words affected her.

Her mood was almost completely affected by him, and Leng Yan was not the only one affected by her.

Xia Nuo hummed a song, placed the dishes and chopsticks, and waited for half an hour, but the cold words didn't come back.

She was about to call him when he called her.

"Leng Yan, are you arriving soon?" she asked him.

"Xia Nuo, I have something to do at the moment, so I probably won't be able to go back until later. You should eat first, don't wait for me."

Xia Nuo asked disappointedly: "What happened?"

"My mother has something to do with me."

"Oh." Xia Nuo responded lightly, "Come back early when you're done."

"good."

After hanging up the phone, Lengyan opened the door, got out of the car, and walked into the restaurant.

Yin Cui saw him at a glance, she smiled and waved to him. Leng Yan walked over, she took him and introduced to the two guests: "Mrs. Wang, Miss Wang, this is my son Leng Yan."

Leng Yan didn't come back, and Xia Nuo didn't have the appetite to eat. She waited for him to come back while watching TV, and it wasn't until after seven o'clock in the evening that Leng Yan opened the door and came back.

Xia Nuo did not turn on the light. The room was dark and the light was not very good.

The light reflected from the TV shone on her face, flickering brightly and dimly.

Leng Yan turned on the light and looked at the dining table. The food on it was untouched.

He looked at Xia Nuo again. She was watching the TV with an expressionless face, as if she didn't notice his presence.

Walking to her and sitting down, he put his arms around her body, buried his head in her neck, pressed his face against hers, and rubbed it gently.

"Didn't I tell you to eat first and not wait for me?"

Xia Nuo said without squinting: "I'm not waiting for you."

"Wife, I'm sorry. If you are angry, just get angry at me. Don't starve yourself." Leng Yan raised his head, pinched her chin with one hand, turned her head, and made her look at him.

His black eyes were shining with sincerity, and Xia Nuo felt that her anger was unreasonable. He had obviously called in advance to say that he would not be back until later, so why should she be angry?

Yin Cui is his mother. If she doesn't like her, shouldn't he be allowed to associate with her?

After Xia Nuo figured it out, the depression in her heart disappeared. She pouted and said coquettishly: "I'm hungry, go and heat me some food."

Leng Yan raised his lips and smiled happily: "Okay, I'll go right away."

He quickly heated up the food, served her a bowl of rice, and then served himself a bowl.

Xia Nuo asked him doubtfully: "Have you not eaten yet?"
