1.Black old cat

Widow Zhang woke up from her sleep. She had a dream. She dreamed that there was an old black cat meowing sadly outside the window.

The old cat meowed and scratched the edge of the window with its claws, making a harsh squeaking sound.

In the dream, she stretched out her hand to drive away the old cat, but the old cat refused to leave and swayed on the window sill. She then took a stone and hit the old cat on the head.

The old cat had nowhere to hide, and his head was smashed and bloody.

It glanced at her viciously and said in a human voice: "You ungrateful widow, I kindly remind you, but you want to harm me. Your death is about to happen..."

The old cat's eyes and curses scared her into a cold sweat. She sat up from the bed and realized it was a dream. Then she patted her chest and breathed a sigh of relief.

The night was quiet, but it seemed too quiet.

Widow Zhang closed her eyes, feeling no sleep at all. She lit the broken candle that was about to burn out from someone else's house, put on some clothes and got out of the kang.

She went to the West House to check on the child. She was six years old and was a restless little girl. She would run around and play with the children in the village all day long, climb trees on walls, and behave at all like a girl. During the day

I was so crazy that I fell asleep as soon as I came back at night and couldn't wake up.

She reached out and touched the child's forehead gently. The child licked his lips, turned over and continued to dream.

Widow Zhang glanced at the child and sighed. She thought to herself, why didn't she have that rich life? She had a pretty face, but because her family was too poor, she didn't have it until she was seventeen.

People come to propose marriage.

She has a younger brother who was born with a bad brain and only giggles when he sees people. He has a long snot trailing behind her all day long.

In order to save some money for her younger brother, her parents sold her to Zhang Laizi from a neighboring village as their wife.

Zhang Laizi is over forty years old. He is honest and kind, but he is too ugly, with small eyes and a big mouth, and a birthmark as big as a palm on his face. People in the village use Zhang Laizi to scare children. As long as an adult speaks

: "If you don't go to sleep, Zhang Laizi will come and take you away." The children did not dare to make trouble and had to lie down obediently.

Widow Zhang cried when she got married. There is a rule in the village that a daughter should cry when she gets married, which is to "cry into marriage." The harder she cries, the more face her family will have. So the brides are all trying their best to cry at the top of their lungs.

Crying, there was thunder but no rain, she was the only one who was like pear blossoms with rain, she really cried like a tearful person.

After only two years of marriage, Zhang Laizi kicked off his legs and died, leaving her pregnant.

Nineteen years old was the age of a young girl, but she turned into a worthless widow.

She placed all her hopes on her belly. It would be great if she could give birth to a son, she thought.

Other people's babies were born at ten months, but the baby in her belly tortured her for fourteen months.

Rumors circulated in and outside the village that Widow Zhang was pregnant with a monster, because no child could stay in her belly for fourteen months. Later, even Widow Zhang herself concluded that the child would not be born alive.

But it was like God made a joke. When everyone gave up on the child, she was born.

In the twelfth lunar month of winter, Widow Zhang was out shopping for New Year's goods. Suddenly, she felt a heartbreaking pain in her lower abdomen, and her amniotic fluid broke. She was alone and gave birth to her child in the heavy snow. She had an abortion.

As long as her blood was frozen, what she was most unwilling to accept was that she had suffered so much and suffered all kinds of illnesses, but she gave birth to a daughter.
