16. Recruits join the team

There are only about a hundred recruits and veterans working in the munitions department. The kitchen is very large, and the kitchen and dining hall are combined. There are more than a dozen wooden tables and chairs scattered in the dining hall. When it is time to eat, everyone will know how to eat.

Gather here to eat.

Unlike the military camp, the munitions office does not have such strict military discipline. The management is relatively loose, and the veterans and recruits in charge mingle together. As long as the officials above do not come down to inspect, they will be lazy on weekdays.

It was dinner time at the moment. Wang Dali was in charge of personnel changes, and he was the only one who could keep in touch with the outside world. Therefore, he was the "Personal Intelligence" of the Military Supplies Department. Every time it was time to eat, he would share some fresh insights.

Everyone listen.

"Dali, what's new today? Let's talk to the brothers." An old soldier took a big mouthful of steamed buns and said as he chewed.

"Today we have a new guy from the munitions department." Wang Dali put down his chopsticks. He couldn't eat when he thought of Ruyi's dirty look. "He's just a little beggar. I don't know how he got connected."

.You haven’t seen that child is so dirty that I don’t even dare to touch it..."

It just so happened that before Wang Dali finished speaking, Ruyi found the dining hall.

She stretched her head and glanced inside, and saw Wang Dali with one foot on the stool, spitting and talking, then he walked into the dining hall holding her dirty clothes and called softly: "Brother,

I've finished washing."

Wang Dali stared at the fair and clean child in front of him in disbelief. It took him a while to realize that this was the "little beggar".

Everyone looked at the child and said, "The child looks so good-looking."

"How can you be as delicate as a little girl?"

"No matter how much he looks like a beggar, it's not an exaggeration to say he is a little bookboy from a rich family."

Wang Dali walked over, looked Ruyi up and down, and said, "It's been cleaned, and I can barely see it."

As he got closer, he smelled a sour smell again. He hurriedly said: "Throw away your shabby clothes quickly. How can you wear them when they are so dirty?"

Ruyi obediently threw away his clothes and went into the dining hall to eat with everyone.

She has a pleasant appearance and doesn't talk nonsense. She is very lovable, and the veterans in the dining hall can't help but have a better impression of her.

She sat next to Wang Dali, buried her face in her rice bowl, and swallowed like a pig.

The little baby has already eaten two big bowls of rice.

Wang Dali looked at her inappropriate eating posture and said with a smile: "She's grown a bit too girly, but she's quite good at eating for a man!"

Everyone also laughed together.

Later, Ruyi learned that soldiers her age were not allowed to eat in the mess hall because they were not qualified. They had to spend at least one or two years in the military commissary, or hold an important position like Wang Dali before they could eat.

Children about her age would wait until the veterans had finished eating before eating. Ruyi was an exception.

After dinner, Wang Dali showed her around and told her where to go to bed, when to get up, and what time to go to bed.

The time schedule of the Munitions Department is relatively loose. There are no rigid rules about what to do at a certain time. Except for eating and sleeping, the working hours are basically arranged by yourself. Of course, the premise is that you

Able to complete the tasks at hand on time.

"What will you do?" Wang Dali asked her.

Ruyi thought for a while and said sheepishly: "I don't know anything."

Wang Dali looked at her with disdain and said, "How could a spoiled and pampered person come to this miserable place like ours to find trouble?"

Ruyi bit her lip and didn't answer. There were only about a hundred recruits and veterans working in the Military Supplies Department in total.
