8. Skinless dog corpse

"Our dog seems to be missing. It is usually tied there and it can't escape on its own."

Tie Zhu slapped his forehead and said, "That's not easy. Let's go find Heizi and use his blood."

Ruyi was a little hesitant: "There's no need to kill it. Heizi is older than me, so I won't be willing to do it."

Tie Zhu said: "It's just a matter of getting some blood, there's no need to kill it."

It was easy to talk, but Ruyi agreed.

Usually when Widow Zhang lets Heizi out, Heizi always likes to run to the sorghum field with Ruyi to play. He is very good at chasing butterflies and chasing sparrows.

"Heizi...Heizi..." Ruyi stumbled as she walked in the sorghum field. She and Tiezhu were both short, and the three of them together could not keep up with the height of the sorghum.

As they walked, they suddenly heard the sound of chirping birds in front of them.

When I pushed aside the sorghum, I saw that there were many black birds gathered in the sorghum field. They had black feathers, black eyes, and hoarse voices. They were obviously crows.

Tie Zhu jumped out and waved his hand, and the crows squawked and flew away. A few of them were still hovering in the sky, refusing to leave.

After driving away the birds, the two children took a closer look and almost peed their pants in fright.

The object these crows were fighting to bite turned out to be a large dog.

Judging from the size, this dog is the Heizi of the Ruyi family.

Why is Heizi dead...

Moreover, it died very strangely, with all its skin peeled off, its red flesh and blood exposed, and its eyes still staring, maintaining the vigilance it had before it died.

Seeing Heizi's appearance, Ruyi covered her face and started to cry.

Although Tie Zhu was a boy, he was still just a child after all, and he was extremely scared. He picked up a sorghum stalk and poked at Heizi's body. The dead Heizi didn't react at all. It looked like he was dead.

Totally dead.

"Don't cry if you wish... Heizi is dead, and it's just time to get the dog's blood. Just wait here, and I'll go back and get you a bowl and knife." Tie Zhu finished his words and disappeared in a flash.

"Tie..." Before Ruyi could call out to Tie Zhu, he ran away.

The projection of sorghum fell down, and Ruyi was in the shadow, facing Heizi's disgraceful body alone.

A gust of wind blew by, causing the sorghum to sway slightly and make a "rustling, rustling" sound.

Ruyi shrank her shoulders and murmured: "Ruyi is afraid... Tiezhu will come back soon..."

Fortunately, Tie Zhu was not lying to her. After a while, Tie Zhu did bring a bowl and knife.

"Here you go." Tie Zhu put the thing on the ground.

"I...I don't dare to do it." Ruyi hid behind, "Tie Zhu, go ahead."

Tie Zhu swallowed and reluctantly picked up the knife: "Okay... okay... I'm a man... I... I'll do it..."

Two children, one encouraging and the other working, seem to complement each other well if they work together.

Heizi had been dead for a while, and as the weather turned cooler, his blood became very thick, so it took a lot of work to get a bowl of dog blood.

Ruyi carefully took the dog's blood back and hid it in his house. The two of them came back to find a place to bury the black child.

"The dog is dead, do you want to tell my mother?" Ruyi asked.

Tie Zhu said: "Let's wait until you deal with the monster. Seeing that Heizi died so miserably, it was probably the monster who did it. You must be careful!"

Ruyi nodded.

The sun was setting, smoke was everywhere, and every household went back to eat after finishing their work.

Ruyi ran home in disgrace and was scolded by Widow Zhang as soon as she entered the courtyard.
