310. Watching Video Surveillance

Wu Yifan looked at it with his heart in his throat. He glanced at the direction of the park mentioned by the administrator.

Then he found the nearest intersection, turned the car around, drove to the opposite side of the road, and followed Pei Mochen.

Pei Mochen ran all the way to the park. It was getting late, and the setting sun gave the green park a golden light.

The park was so quiet that he found an entrance to the park, stood at the guard's window, and asked the guard inside, "Do I need to buy a ticket to enter this park?"

The guard was sitting in the duty room and was not ready to get up and ask Pei Mochen what he needed. He just nodded to him, "Yes."

How could Pei Mochen care about a doorman's attitude towards him at this time, "Have two girls been here this afternoon?"

"How can I remember clearly when there are so many tourists in a day?" The doormen, like most service staff at attractions, are impatient when they receive more tourists every day.

Pei Mochen asked again, "How many doors are there in total?"

The guard replied, "Two, but only one door can go in, and the other door can only go out, not go in."

Pei Mochen raised his head and glanced around. He saw the camera with sharp eyes. He turned to the guard and said, "Bring up the surveillance camera."

Hearing this, the guard laughed and said, "You are so funny. If you ask me to stop monitoring, I will stop monitoring. We managers don't have that right."

"Yeah."

Wu Yifan, who was standing aside, shuddered in his heart when he heard Pei Mochen's cold words.

He stared at the park and said to Pei Mochen, "I'll go inside and have a look."

Pei Mochen didn't reply. Not replying was equivalent to nodding.

He took out his mobile phone and dialed the number of the prosecutor's office. After a while, two staff members wearing uniforms of the prosecutor's office rushed to the scene.

Surveillance videos from around the park were pulled out, and the footage showed Zhang Jingyou running in front, with Cheng Ningyou chasing behind.

Seeing Cheng Ning's sprained foot, Pei Mo's heart tightened and he couldn't bear to see her stumbling around with anxiety and fear.

The screen moved forward and showed Cheng Ningyou getting into a car. Then the car drove away, and no one knew what happened next.

He left the park security room and stood at the intersection, looking at the direction in which the car Cheng Ningyou got into was driving away.

The screen showed that the car stopped beside Cheng Ningyou on its own initiative, and a young boy was seen sitting in the passenger seat.

She had just returned to China not long ago, let alone lost her memory. Even if she hadn't lost her memory, she hadn't made many friends. It was obvious that she didn't know the people in that car.

Preliminary guess is that she must have sprained her ankle at the time and couldn't catch up with Zhang Jingyou, so she got into the stranger's car.

But……

He looked suspiciously at the main road outside the guardrail, then turned to look in the opposite direction, which was the highway leading to Lincheng.

How did that car come to this service road? This road ends as far as the eye can see.

Wu Yifan's car was still on this side road that detoured from the cemetery. He had just noticed the car coming to the park and there were road signs guiding where to park.

Then there is only a 50% chance that the car will happen to encounter Cheng Ningyou who needs help, not even a 50% chance.

Wu Yifan came out of the park and shook his head at Pei Mochen, "I didn't find it."

"The surveillance has been checked and she did not enter the park."

Pei Mochen said, and said to the staff of the two prosecutor's offices, "Help me contact the traffic police team here and arrange the surveillance on the Lincheng Expressway."
