57. Pain comes from anticipation

Dongfang Chen looked at Yun Jingchu carefully with sharp eyes.

He turned his head just now and scanned it accidentally, and suddenly saw a pair of eyes that were very similar to Yun Jingshu's. When he turned his head to look, he found a strange little girl standing there. She looked a bit like Jingshu, but her eyes were clear and unclear.

, not at all as sharp and intimidating as Jingshu.

"Your Majesty, this is my concubine's youngest daughter, Jingchu." Mrs. Zhu quickly stooped and replied.

"Oh..." Dongfang Chen nodded with some understanding, but there was still a trace of confusion in his eyes.

It turned out to be Yun Jingshu's half-sister. No wonder he had the illusion.

After looking at Yun Jingchu again, Dongfang Chen strode away. Yun Jingchu's suddenly raised heart slowly let go and fell into his stomach.

"Best farewell to your Majesty." Everyone said in unison.

After Dongfang Chen left, the eldest lady said that she would stay and take care of Yun Xiyao and asked Zhu to leave first.

Zhu didn't insist, asked the eldest lady to help take care of it, and then led Yun Jingchu out.

"Let's go see your sister." Zhu's eyes suddenly became a little sad, and she took Yun Jingchu's hand and headed towards the southwest corner of the palace.

Jingshu Palace.

The entire palace was deserted, and because no one was taking care of the garden, weeds grew wildly, and the delicate flowers were deprived of land and nutrients, leaving them withered and droopy.

The two palace maids were sitting in the corridor, chatting and eating melon seeds, looking leisurely and at ease.

Zhu's expression became more and more sad.

Yun Jingchu coughed softly, alarming the two palace maids. They turned around and looked at them suspiciously, and immediately recognized Yun Jingshu's mother and sister. Because basically no one came here, so the few who came here

Even the little palace maid recognizes him personally.

"Mrs. Yun, Miss Yun." The two little maids stood up quickly and saluted respectfully.

"...Where is Mrs. Jingshu?" Zhu calmed down her mood and her tone was quite calm.

"Madam is in the palace, please come with us." The little palace maid quickly led the way.

All the way into the hall, Yun Jingchu looked at the pale woman sitting by the window, basking in the sun with her eyes slightly closed.

"... Madam, your sister and I came to the palace to see you." Mrs. Zhu stepped forward, holding back the tears in her eyes, and spoke softly.

When "Yun Jingshu" heard this, her eyelashes trembled, she opened her eyes and looked at Zhu with a blank expression, as if she didn't know who the person in front of her was.

Mrs. Zhu sat next to her, held her hand, and talked with tears in her eyes. She just told her to eat more, get up and walk more, don't sit all the time, remember to put on some clothes when the weather gets cold, Zhu said.

He said these words over and over again.

Yun Jingchu looked at this scene with tears in her eyes. In the 21st century, she was an orphan. She grew up in an orphanage when she was a child, and in a killer training camp when she was older. She longed for family and warmth.

She so longed to build a warm family with that person, and then she would have her own relatives and her own home. Too many expectations made her unable to accept betrayal, which was why she was so desperate when she knew that person had betrayed her.

After coming to this world, she told herself that she didn't need warmth, as long as she was strong enough. So, in the past ten years, she had very little time to see her relatives, and every time they met, it was just a cup of tea.

She gave them a few cold words and left. Her only concern for them was to send someone to protect their safety. Perhaps, subconsciously, she was just afraid of betrayal and being hurt, and thought that only by giving less emotion and expecting less, would they be successful.

Not harmed.

However, she was still hurt in the end. The heartbreaking pain of being betrayed was no less than in the previous life. It turned out that deep down in her heart, she was still looking forward to it...

"Jingchu, why are you crying?" Zhu's surprised voice sounded in her ears when she was out of breath by the darkness of the past.
