Chapter 222 The Floating White Shadow

It would be a lie to say that Wu Dazhi and Zhou Zijing were not afraid in the middle of the night in the barren mountains and among the graveyards.

But even if they were afraid, they had no choice. Going down the mountain would be a dead end. With some skills, neither of them hesitated and walked quickly towards the building.

"I'm talking about Dazhi, do you think there is something magical on this mountain?"

Zhou Zijing asked worriedly while exploring the way.

"Stop talking nonsense. If you are nagging like this, even if there is nothing, you will still be able to say something out of your mouth. Let's go!"

Wu Dazhi kicked Zhou Zijing in the butt angrily. The damn fat man would never learn what to say when.

After walking for about ten minutes, the two of them could no longer walk. The road came to an end, and the building was actually built on the edge of the cliff.

The emergency flashlight flashed twice, and finally completed its final mission and ran out of power. In the deep mountains and forests, the only source of light was the moon.

After driving for most of the day, Zhou Zijing was already exhausted. He was panting heavily and grabbed Wu Dazhi:

"I said Dazhi, let's take a rest. You see, the place where the building is being built is quite dangerous. I'm afraid that my body won't be able to keep up soon and we might both fall!"

Wu Dazhi nodded. This section of the mountain road was not easy for him, but he was embarrassed to say he was tired when facing Zhou Zijing. Now that Zhou Zijing had brought it up first, he was happy to go along with it.

The two found a clean place and sat down.

"Dazhi, what should we do, let's just sit here all night? Or should we go there and have a look?"

Although Zhou Zijing did not explain where it was, Wu Dazhi had long known that what he was talking about was nothing more than a building on the cliff.

The building was very strange. Although a large number of nobles of the Liao Dynasty were buried here, the building could not be an accessory ground building to the imperial mausoleum.

It is not convenient for worship here, and it does not meet the rulers' requirements for Feng Shui. What could it be? Wu Dazhi couldn't think of anyone who would build anything in the tomb.

"Probably a place of worship!"

"Dazhi, are you sure?" Zhou Zijing seemed to think that Wu Dazhi's answer was not very convincing, so he asked again.

"To be honest, I'm not sure, but this is the only reasonable explanation. If you want to know what it is, just go and take a look!"

With that said, Wu Dazhi stood up, flicked the dirt on his body, and strode forward without giving Zhou Zijing a chance to refute.

Zhou Zijing stood there for a few seconds, looking at Wu Dazhi who was striding forward, then looking back at the dark graveyard, and finally made up his mind to follow Wu Dazhi forward.

Walking near the cliff, Wu Dazhi finally saw the general outline of the building in front of him through the moonlight. It was a small courtyard common in the Northeast and Inner Mongolia. It had long been dilapidated and he didn't know what it was used for before, but Wu Dazhi understood in his heart.

, no matter what this yard is used for, it is definitely not a good place!

"We're all here, it would be a shame not to go in and take a look!"

Seeing that Wu Dazhi was still hesitant, Zhou Zijing became more energetic. Without waiting for Wu Dazhi to open his eyes, he stepped directly onto the steps and was about to push the shaky little door in the small slope courtyard.

"Don't move!" Seeing Zhou Zijing trying to open the door, Wu Dazhi immediately stopped him: "I don't know what's going on, but you just open the door like this. Do you want to die?"

Unfortunately, Wu Dazhi's words were spoken too late. Zhou Zijing reached out and pushed, and the two small wooden doors collapsed instantly and fell to the ground, stirring up a burst of dust.

The courtyard had been built for an unknown number of years, and the dust was accompanied by the smell of **. Wu Dazhi and Zhou Zijing quickly took a step back, and when the dust gradually dissipated, Wu Dazhi took a step forward.

Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks, stretched out his hand to signal Zhou Zijing not to go forward, and he began to recite the incantation silently, make seals with his hands, and strike forward.

Zhou Zijing looked in the direction of Wu Dazhi's finger, and saw a white shadow floating in front of them only a dozen meters away.

Zhou Zijing suddenly became nervous and shouted loudly: "What kind of monsters, how dare you act wild in front of your Grandpa Zhou!"

At this time, Wu Dazhi had already struck out, but the white shadow didn't seem to be hurt at all and was still floating there.

Wu Dazhi and Zhou Zijing were now nervous. There were two possible reasons why the attack had no effect. One was because his attack power was not enough, and the other was because the white shadow's defense was high enough.

No matter what the possibility is, it is not good news for Wu Dazhi and Zhou Zijing.

"Dazhi, it seems that this guy is quite capable. What do you think we should do now?" Zhou Zijing came up and poked Wu Dazhi, a little worried:

"How about we escape quickly before it attacks us. No matter how powerful those gangsters are..."

"Wait a minute!" Wu Dazhi waved his hand. They were too nervous just now and seemed to have made a mistake.

Wu Dazhi walked forward little by little. The white shadow seemed to despise Wu Dazhi very much. He didn't even move and was still floating in place.

Zhou Zijing followed Wu Dazhi closely. He was probably depressed by Bai Ying. He rushed forward with his arms rolled up and his sleeves rolled up. He spat on his hands a few times, cursed and ran between Wu Dazhi and Bai Ying:

"Nima, if I want to beat you, I'll beat you up. What are you doing wandering around here? Dancing? Let me tell you, don't think that my brother didn't kill you just now because he was afraid. That's because we are kind-hearted and can't bear to kill you.

!”

Wu Dazhi looked at Zhou Zijing with cold eyes13. Even though he was talking nonsense, people could not ignore his trembling legs.

"Fat man, you are such a smooth talker. It would be a waste not to go to the teahouse to tell stories!" Wu Dazhi said angrily.

"Wait, wait, when we stop doing this business and you open a teahouse, I will tell dirty jokes!"

"Forget it, we don't advocate superstitious activities now, so please stop causing trouble for me!"

The two looked at each other. Bai Ying clearly heard Zhou Zijing's harsh words, but still did not move. Damn, what on earth is going on?

"Dazhi, if this guy doesn't make trouble for us, just go up and beat him up!" As he said that, Zhou Zijing was about to rush forward.

"Beat him!" Wu Dazhi grabbed him and said, "Maybe this is not a human being!"

"What is it if it's not a human being?"

Zhou Zijing was stunned on the spot, and suddenly an evil wind blew from nowhere.

"Fat man, do you still remember the incident of burying a child last time?" Wu Dazhi wrapped up his clothes and walked towards the white figure as he spoke.

"You mean, this Bai Ying is also a burial boy?"

"It should be a paper man!" As he spoke, Wu Dazhi had already walked to the white figure and fiddled with it with his hands. It turned out to be a paper man.

Zhou Zijing also walked up, pulled off the paper man, put it in his hand and looked at it. The paper man was very lifelike and should have been made by a master.

"Damn, who is so careless as to hang this thing here? I tell you Dazhi, if you see Hu Xue, you must not talk about this, otherwise the two great gentlemen and the spirit-killing warrior will be frightened by this paper man

Oh, how embarrassing!"

Zhou Zijing said minding his own business, but Wu Dazhi always felt that something was wrong with the courtyard. The paper man should have been newly made, but judging from the dilapidated condition of the courtyard, it seemed that no one had been here for a long time.

What's going on? Wu Dazhi stared at the paper man in Zhou Zijing's hand for a while and whispered:

"Fat man, get a torch!"
