This is the second time I visited Ningqing Palace. Last time I came here I was just thinking about things and didn’t rush to enjoy the scenery here.
The ancient palace indeed put a lot of effort into its architecture:
The glazed pagoda is lined with pavilions, the palace is majestic, the eaves are raised, the carved beams and painted buildings are magnificent, light and gorgeous, and the golden walls are brilliant, just like a mirage.
There are even rumors that the Yaotai in Dengtian Pavilion is better than fairyland.
Ningqing Palace is a typical round forest building, dotted with pavilions and pavilions among red flowers, green trees, lakes, green pools, streams, mountains, winding paths, white clouds and blue sky.

There are naturally no shortage of ponds, making this place look picturesque.
The interior decoration of the palace is more exquisite than that of the palace.
There are more than two hundred red sandalwood windows and treasure shelves, and rosewood floor-to-ceiling covers with magpies ascending plum blossoms.
On the west side, there is a floor-to-ceiling cover made of rosewood with openwork carvings of wisteria and pine branches.
Separate the main room from the east and west rooms, and separate the east and west rooms from the top rooms with partitions.
There is a relief carved on the wall of the inner hall, a landscape pavilion made of precious stones, pearls, jade, crystal and agate.
Figures, flowers, insects and birds are carved on the wall.
The carvings are gorgeous, numerous, and very detailed. The square table is made of chicken blood rosewood.
There is a set of cups and plates with floral patterns on it.
There is a flower table with octagonal dragon pattern and several red sandalwood shelves, which are also made of porcelain.
On the right side are a vermilion sandalwood lotus leaf bench and a large Amitabha blue vase with mahogany drum legs and marble inlay.
Inside is a silver-gilt gourd-style incense burner, which contains my favorite jasmine spice.
Waves of fragrance float in the palace, and smelling it carefully just makes people feel relaxed and happy.
After entering the palace, Eunuch Li saw me standing at the door, meditating for a long time, with a look of displeasure on his face:
"Li Cainu, the empress is still waiting inside!"
He turned around and stepped away. I walked around the screen, and Concubine Xin's beautiful bare face came into my eyes.
