432. What are you doing here without sleeping?

The servants at Lucifer Manor are there twenty hours a day, and at night, another group of people will take over the work of others during the day.

So, no matter what she wants to eat, she can always find someone to make it.

As soon as she came downstairs, a maid came up to her and asked, "Mrs., do you have any instructions?"

She nodded, "Well, I'm a little hungry. You can ask someone to make me some late-night snacks. Just make whatever you want. Keep it light and not greasy."

The maid agreed and was about to leave when she suddenly thought of something and called to the maid, "Make one more."

She carried the prepared supper and walked outside the study.

Sure enough, the light in the study was on and the door was ajar.

She stood outside the door and looked inside through the crack in the door.

Ye Fan did not sit in front of the study to work, but sat by the window with a glass of red wine in his hand.

The red wine is almost at its bottom.

The stern face became a bit colder in the night, and the gaze in the dark green eyes became more unfathomable, as mysterious as the night.

He was thinking about something and was very lost in thought.

She pushed the door open and walked in, but he didn't even notice.

She gently placed the supper on the table, and the slight sound finally made him come back from his thoughts and look towards her.

"If you don't want to sleep, what are you doing here?"

After being stunned for two seconds, he stood up and walked to her side. He glanced down at the supper on the table and said calmly, "Mother Zhang will be responsible for doing these things."

That feeling of sadness and grievance came to my heart again.

She suppressed the pain in her heart and said, "I know someone is responsible for these things, but I am your wife, isn't it right to care about your husband? If you don't want me to come, I won't come in the future."

Ye Fan remained silent and didn't speak, just looked at her quietly, his eyes were deep and complicated, making it difficult for people to understand.

She took it as his acquiescence.

She felt even more uncomfortable, but she forced herself to smile and said, "It's getting late. You'd better not work too late."

Ye Fan nodded and said nothing more.

She felt like she couldn't hold on any longer.

He made it clear that he didn't want to see her at all.

"I won't disturb you anymore."

She turned around and left, big tears falling from her eyes.

She walked very quickly and hurriedly, fearing that others would see her embarrassment and weakness.

On a gloomy and rainy night, the air became turbid, and the cold and biting wind slapped her heart.

She crossed her arms tightly, walked quickly back to the room, wrapped herself in a quilt and sat on the bed, still feeling cold.

There was no place in my body that was not cold.

In the quiet and terrible night, the dull rain outside the window hit the window sill and made a falling sound. Along with the rhythm of the second hand of the wall clock on the wall of the room, it struck her heart over and over again.

She raised her head and stared blankly at the ceiling.

I sat like this for the whole night, and the rain outside the window also continued to fall all night long.

An autumn rain brings a layer of coolness.

The wind from the window blew in and hit her face. She covered her face, and the heat on her face was blown away by the wind. Her cheeks were cold and had no warmth at all.

She got out of bed, took out a thick sweater and wrapped it around her body, then she felt a little better.

She didn't sleep all night, and she felt extremely tired. She closed her eyes, but she couldn't fall asleep.

His cold expression, cold words, and cold eyes reappeared in her mind over and over again like a movie replaying.
