076 Why Wait For Me

She was alone in the huge bedroom, and Wen Xin felt a little empty. She was not in the mood to watch TV series. Later, she felt sleepy, so she fell asleep holding the pillow.

****

The next day, when it was almost eleven o'clock, Aunt Qiao saw that Wenxin hadn't come downstairs yet, so she went upstairs to see her.

No one answered after knocking on the door, so she opened the door and went in. The curtains were drawn in the bedroom, the light was dim, and she saw Wen Xin still lying on the bed.

Aunt Qiao was a little confused. She walked to the big bed and asked her softly: "Wenxin, are you awake?"

No one answered. Aunt Qiao noticed something was wrong and walked around to the other side, "Warm, warm?"

Her arm was gently pushed, and Wen Wen struggled to open her eyes. Her eyes were spinning for a while, and she immediately closed her eyes uncomfortably, her voice sounding like a mosquito moaning, "...What's the matter, Aunt Qiao?"

Seeing her curled up with a painful expression, Aunt Qiao was a little panicked and said, "Wenxin, are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?"

Wen Wenxin said weakly, "I have a headache and want to sleep a little longer."

She woke up once in the morning with a splitting headache. She originally planned to ask Aunt Qiao to get medicine, but her body was limp and she had no strength, so she slept until now.

"Do you have a cold?" Aunt Qiao asked herself, putting the back of her hand against her forehead, "You must have a fever, oh, just wait, I'll get the thermometer."

Aunt Qiao ran out in a panic and came back after a while with an ear thermometer in her hand. When she measured it, it was 38.2 degrees.

"Okay, okay, it's not a high fever." Putting down the ear thermometer, Aunt Qiao sat beside the bed and said with concern: "Wenxin, you should get up first, let's go to the hospital to find a doctor."

Wen Xin didn't have the energy to move at all. She opened her eyes and said to Aunt Qiao: "No need to go to the hospital, just get me some antipyretics and cold medicine."

"That's okay!" Aunt Qiao disagreed, "Oh, it's a pity that Master Jian is not here, and Master Jian hasn't come back yet... Otherwise, I will call your father."

She meant well, but Wen Xin had a severe headache at the moment, and any sound was irritating to her. "No, please get me some medicine. I'll take the medicine and sleep and I'll be fine."

Seeing that she insisted on doing this, Aunt Qiao had no choice but to follow her wishes and get her medicine.

After taking antipyretics, her body temperature later returned to normal, but her head was always groggy. Wen Wen still lay in bed, waking up and sleeping like this throughout the day, with Aunt Qiao always watching over her.

****

It was already very late when Rong Li came back.

Aunt Qiao had just coaxed Wen Xin to drink some porridge and came downstairs with a bowl. When she saw Rong Li back, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Master."

Rong Li opened his tie with one hand, "Where is she?"

"In the room." Aunt Qiao said, "The fever has gone down and I just went to bed."

"Yes." Rong Li responded lightly and went back to his room.

A wall lamp was turned on in the bedroom, and the light blue light was very soft. Looking at the direction of the big bed, Rong Li turned around and went to the bathroom. After taking a bath, he put on his pajamas. It was almost early in the morning, so he lifted the quilt and got into bed.

He got out of bed and carefully took the sleeping warmth into his arms.

Her small body was delicate and soft, exuding a faint fragrance. Taking a deep breath, her heart was filled with her scent, which was fresh and natural, soothing his tired nerves.

Feeling the familiar breath in the hazy state, Wen Xin moved his eyelids and opened a small crack, "Rong Li, are you back?"

The thin voice was as soft as a cloud. He liked hearing her call his name very much.

"Yeah." He responded in a low voice, stroking her hair with his fingers, "Does your head still hurt?"

"It doesn't hurt anymore..." she replied softly.

"Then go to sleep." He said, patting her back gently with his big hand.

The quilt was tightly covering her, and the man held her tightly in his arms. Wen Xin felt a little hot, shaking his head and shouting: "It's hot, I can't sleep."

As she spoke, she stretched her arms out of the quilt, and then planned to kick the quilt away.

Rong Li frowned slightly, pulled the little girl back who was looking for a cool place, and wrapped her in a quilt. She had not recovered from the cold, and catching the cold again would only worsen her condition.

Wen Wen was not happy, her little mouth kept shouting about being hot, and she was twisting and turning on him like a piglet. Both of their pajamas were thin, and they rubbed each other, and soon, she ignited a fire on the man.

.

"Be honest!" He held her down to prevent a spark from turning into a prairie fire.

Warm but like a loach, her little hands scratched his back, her tender face rubbed against his shoulders, and her soft lips brushed across his skin, creating sparks.

With the warm fragrance of nephrite in his arms, no man of strong temper can refuse such temptation.

But she was still ill, so he would be a beast if he could do that to her.

After closing his eyes, he slapped her little butt and scolded her in a hoarse voice: "Don't move, go to sleep."

"Ugh...it hurts!" One word, with a strong sense of coquettishness from a little girl.

Rong Li's eyes darkened and his muscles tensed. He took a deep breath and suppressed the impulse in his blood vessels. "If you don't want to be beaten, just be obedient and go to bed quickly."

Perhaps his threat had an effect and Wen Xin became quiet, but just for a moment, she suddenly asked him: "Rong Li, where have you been and why did you come back so late?"

Her mind is confused and she speaks directly what is on her mind. Normally, she would never speak frankly.

Rong Li had just regained his composure, and when he heard her asking, his heart moved slightly, "Have you been waiting for me?"

Her mouth was a little dry, so she licked her lips and murmured: "Well, I've been waiting for a long time, but you haven't come back."

"What are you waiting for me to do?"

He wanted to know the answer.

But she is very good at disappointing people.

"I'm thirsty and want a drink of water." After waiting for a long time, she asked him for a drink of water.

"Tell me, why are you waiting for me?" he coaxed.

"Want to drink water."

"You can't drink water until you answer my question." He didn't realize how childish his words were.

Wen Xin started to twist around again, "Water, I want to drink water!"

"..."

Rong Li felt frustrated for the first time.

After pouring warm water for her, feeding her to drink, and serving her condescendingly, he tried to ask again, but Wenxin didn't say anything again.

Holding the little girl tightly, Rong Li felt a touch of disappointment that he couldn't explain.

What did he want to hear from her?

"Rong Li, they gave me money and told me to leave you..." She murmured unconsciously.

In fact, she had been waiting for him yesterday just to tell him this.

Although her voice was small, he heard her clearly. A cold light suddenly appeared in Feng's eyes, and he asked her: "Who gave you the money?"

But Wen Xin had already fallen asleep under the influence of cold medicine.

Thinking over her words again and again, Rong Li's eyes gradually became cold, like ice and snow.

It seems that someone is meddling in other people's business!

****

After sleeping for a whole day and night, Wen Xin woke up the next day when the sky was dark.

She stretched her arms, legs, and legs. As soon as she moved, the arms around her waist tightened. She was stunned for a moment. She later realized that there was someone else on the bed.

*

I have to go out and run around these two days. The temporary update time is: two updates in the morning and one update at 18:30 in the afternoon. Let me say something to my boss: Please support me, dear.
