3. Chapter 3 A slap

Leng Mei frowned, "I'll go! Which god is this that has such a tragic voice?"

"You...what do you want to do? The lady just fainted, let her go!" The crying suddenly turned into panic.

The next moment, Leng Mei received a solid slap on her face.

What?!

Leng Mei's chaotic mind went blank for that second. Was she slapped?!

"I'm going to check to see if he's faking his death. If he's dead, he should be dragged out with a roll of straw mat and buried!" The voice said proudly.

A surge of anger surged from Leng Mei's heart. The person who dared to beat her thought she was dead?! He didn't even look at who Leng Mei was! Can such a scum disturb her peace even if she is dead?

She opened her eyes without thinking, without looking, and slapped the source of the sound hard.

"Pa!" There was a crisp sound. The surrounding sounds suddenly disappeared. Everyone stared blankly at the woman who had just held her breath and passed out. She straightened up and slapped the fat and wide-waisted woman next to her cleanly, neatly and without any sloppiness.

The old woman gave her a loud slap!

Leng Mei frowned and waved her hand, without raising her head, Leng Leng burst out the first sentence in this Yunhuang Continent: "Who is looking for death to beat this young lady! If you have the guts, stand up for me!"

Silence.

Still silent...

Leng Mei finally had time to raise her bright beautiful eyes and look around. She didn't know, but she was shocked when she saw it. Let me go! Is this a magical place?

The underworld? The Western world? Or which y scene did she get into? Or...

The last thought that flashed through her mind made her face twitch:

No... Could it be that she... traveled through time?

"Ah ah ah... Miss! Miss has spoken!" The voice next to me who was sobbing and crying just now increased by eight decibels and screamed.

Before Leng Mei could react, a dirty little girl threw herself on her like a dead parent and cried loudly: "Miss, you can finally speak! Miss, you are alive! You scared Xun to death."

It’s okay, okay… woo woo…”

Leng Mei listened to the little girl crying with snot and tears, and she wanted to plug her ears.

Did this girl's crying skills come from practice? Why is she so expressive? Is it strange that she can speak? She is not mute!

"Ah... ghost!" The other people in the room screamed when they received the cold and snow-like gaze of Mei, especially the old woman next to her who was so aggressive just now, she screamed like a butchered pig.

In less than a minute, she and the girl named Xun'er were the only ones left in the shabby room that was crowded just now.

"Okay! Why are you crying? I'm not dead yet. Tell me quickly! Where is this place?" Leng Mei frowned with a headache.

She began to move her painful palms while looking around. The more she looked around, the more her heart grew colder. It was really sad, it seemed like she had really traveled through time!

This touch, this vision, and the little maid who kept wiping her nose and tears on her dirty body, plus the scene just now. This... isn't this a standard feature of a time-travel drama?

The more she looked at it, the corners of her mouth twitched slightly. Did God punish her for only focusing on studying and doing business in her modern past life and never read romance novels, so he specially arranged a big "surprise" for her after her death?

"Woo, miss... you finally woke up. I thought you died just now..." Maid Xun'er was still crying.

"speak English!"

"Miss, are you hungry now that you have been in coma for two days?" Xun'er was agitated and immediately held back her tears.
