395. Chapter 395 The Magpie Runs Away

The meal was extremely embarrassing. Except for the heartless Yongan, everyone else was a little bit ignorant of the food. After the meal, Hua Xiaogu was afraid of something unexpected, so he asked Baitao to stay in the same room with Na Xiangniang for the night.

It wasn't too deep, but Magpie felt tight in his chest and disappeared after eating.

Hua Xiaogu knew that Magpie must be feeling uncomfortable, so he told Tian Lanqing and looked around the inn.

The Tian family's inn was still closed due to the arrival of Tian Lanqing and his party. In the huge patio, apart from a few solitary trees, there was a small pond. The moon was still bright that night, and Hua Xiaogu was sitting on the patio.

She looked around, but still didn't see the magpie. Just when she thought the magpie might be sulking and ran out, there was a sudden soft sound in front of her.

Hua Xiaogu was stunned for a moment, looking at the small rolling stones in front of him, then raised his head and looked towards the tree. Sure enough, the magpie was dangling on its legs and was looking down at Hua Xiaogu.

"What are you doing there?" Hua Xiaogu asked, raising his head.

Magpie stretched out his index finger, made a silent gesture toward Hua Xiaogu, and then curled his lips in front of himself. Hua Xiaogu followed Magpie's instructions and looked over, and then he understood immediately.

The magpie's hiding place happened to be able to see the window of Xiangniang's room.

Everyone has a desire to gossip. Hua Xiaogu walked to the tree in two or three steps. After looking around and seeing no one else, she rolled up her sleeves and started to climb up the tree. Naturally, she didn't know how to do light skills, so her climbing posture was not like that of a magpie.

Chic. But climbing a tree is not a problem for her.

After a while, the magpie stretched out his hand to pull her, and Hua Xiaogu sat down on a tree branch, firmly holding on to the branch next to her. She immediately turned her head and looked through Xiangniang's window.

With just one glance, Hua Xiaogu felt a little embarrassed.

In the window, under the dim candlelight, Xiang Niang threw herself into Tian Languang's arms, looking miserable as she cried.

Hua Xiaogu glanced at the magpie out of the corner of her eye, but unfortunately the light was too dark and she really couldn't see the magpie's expression clearly.

After a while, Hua Xiaogu felt a slight tremor around him. When he turned around, the magpie had lightly jumped down from the tree and was patting the ashes on its body under the tree. When Hua Xiaogu saw it, he immediately wanted to climb down.

"You've jumped, I'll catch you." The magpie's voice came up gently from under the tree. Hua Xiaogu didn't hesitate and simply jumped into the magpie's arms.

"Looking at how small and delicate you are, you are actually quite strong." Magpie caught Hua Xiaogu, placed her gently on the ground handsomely, and joked softly. Hua Xiaogu had no intention of joking with her, and felt a little uncomfortable.

He just reached out and gently tugged at the hem of her clothes.

Although Magpie seemed carefree, she was a girl after all. She seemed to understand that Hua Xiaogu was worried about herself, so she just shook her head: "I'm going out to relax."

"I'll accompany you." Hua Xiaogu said. Unexpectedly, Magpie smiled and shook his head: "I'm going fast. If you follow me, I'm afraid I'll have to wait for you."

After saying that, Magpie strode outside, Hua Xiaogu kept looking at her back and gently bit her lower lip.

After the magpie left, Hua Xiaogu went to Tian Lanqing's place. She pushed open the door of Tian Lanqing's room and looked up. Tian Lanqing seemed to be writing something on the paper and didn't pay attention to Hua Xiaogu walking in.

Hua Xiaogu turned around and closed the door, then took a candle from the cabinet and walked over.
