Chapter five hundred and fortieth gold and silver hoarding

Thanks for the 10,000-coin reward from the brothers who hacked the account. The support from you brothers is what keeps me going.

Zhou Meiren frowned. The gentleness in her eyes was not what she wanted. She was just thinking about those cruel eyes.

"Thank you." The cold voice did not change at all because of the accident.

Han Peacock scratched his hair in frustration and said, "Be careful."

Letting go of Zhou Meiren's arm, Han Kongque smiled helplessly.

He knew Zhou Meiren too well. If he didn't let her go, maybe she would teach him a lesson.

Han Peacock protected Zhou Meiren behind him and looked at the assassin not far away.

Han Kongque kicked him on the shoulder, and half of his bones were broken into pieces.

Therefore, at this time, the assassin could only vomit blood on the ground and had completely lost his ability to fight back.

When Zhou Meiren's bodyguards took action, Han Kongque withdrew from her side.

She cannot adapt to the approach of strangers. Now Han Peacock is a stranger to her.

When something like this happened, the scene immediately became chaotic. After Zhou Meiren left, Han Kongque had no intention of staying here anymore.

After saying hello to Qin Dake and the others, Han Kongque wanted to run away, but he obviously underestimated the reporters' fighting power. As soon as he stepped out of the appraisal booth, he was surrounded by countless reporters.

At this time, Han Kongque was not in the mood to be interviewed, so with the help of Huang Shan and others, he was able to escape.

Rushing out, Huang Shan said: "There are also many reporters at the entrance of Antique Street."

"Is there one at your doorstep?" Han Peacock said.

Huang Shandao: "Now there are people waiting at the door of my house all the time."

Han Kongque smiled bitterly: "It seems that I can't stay at home for long."

"Aren't we going home?" Huang Shan said.

Han Peacock looked at the sky and said, "Go back! You can't stop going home just because of this."

After some more siege, Han Peacock finally walked into the house.

When he returned home, Han Kongque came back to his senses from his loss. Seeing Shi Lei following him, Han Kongque said gratefully: "Thank you just now."

"Huh?" Shi Lei was a little confused. What did he do just now? How could he be thanked by Han Kongque?

Han Kongque didn't care what Shi Lei thought. He opened the door and said, "Come in and do it. There is an exchange meeting tonight. We can only talk about your ebony door plaque now."

"It's okay. I know you are busy, Brother Han. But the door plaque is in my rental house and I didn't bring it with me. How about I go get it now?" Shi Lei said.

Han Kongque said: "No, I want to ask you a few things. Just understand it clearly. You can send the plaque to me anytime."

"What's the matter? Brother Han, you can ask whatever you want." Shi Lei said.

Han Kongque led Shi Lei into the living room: "The furniture hasn't been finished yet, so I can only do it casually."

Shi Lei looked at the empty living room and was still surprised.

He never expected that Han Peacock, a wealthy man, would live in such a simple place.

But after hearing Han Kongque's explanation, Shi Lei understood that they looked down on ordinary furniture and were waiting to make mahogany furniture!

Thinking of the mahogany trees that Han Peacock got in the legend, Shi Lei regretted coming early.

He should wait until Han Kongque finished all the furniture. If he did this once, he could brag about it on the antique street for half a year. After all, not many people had seen a complete set of old mahogany furniture.

"Why is your face full of regret?" Han Kongque gave Shi Lei a glass of water, Liu Xu went to the clinic, and they were the only ones at home now.

Shi Lei said: "I should come to your house again in a few months. By then, I will be sitting on the small-leaf rosewood sofa, touching the huanghuali coffee table? Maybe I will be stepping on the golden nanmu floor.

When I go to the street and talk about it, won’t I immediately make those people’s eyes turn red with envy?”

Han Peacock burst out laughing, and after he finished laughing, he said: "Don't tell me, your idea is very good, especially using golden nanmu to pave the floor. I really found out a lot of good materials, and I can't even put them in the warehouse."

If you use it, you might as well lay the floor, and when it is time to use it, you can unwrap it and use it, so there is no waste at all.”

"I can only envy you." Shi Lei knew that Han Peacock was not much older than him, and in comparison, he was as old as a dog.

Han Kongque said with a smile: "Why are you envious? With your enthusiasm for the business, as long as you learn some useful knowledge, you will have more opportunities to make a fortune in the future. Let's talk about your door plaque! What are the words on it and where did you get it?

, it would be best to know where it was unearthed, this would be of great use to me."

"Is it of great use?" Shi Lei was surprised.

Han Kongque did not hide anything, he said directly! "Your door plaque and the batch of copper coins I purchased from your stall earlier were probably purchased from a construction site in Pengcheng, right?"

"Eh? Brother Han knows too? I also plan to deal with this plaque and go to Pengcheng again! Now that Brother Han knows, there will be nothing wrong with vendors like us. We can't compete with big businesses like you.

." Shi Lei said a little frustrated.

Han Kongque said with a smile: "I'm afraid we don't have a chance. You don't know, right? There is actually a treasure in the place where you purchased the things. It should be the Dong family's hoard. If I guessed correctly, the piece you received is

The door plaque should be that of the Dong family in Pengcheng, right?"

Shi Lei looked at Han Kongque in surprise: "Can you guess this? But it's not the Dong family in Pengcheng, but the Dong family. There are only two words, but the Dong family should be in Pengcheng, so calling Pengcheng Dong family should be more accurate.

"

Han Kongque smiled and said: "That's right, Dong Mansion, those batches of cellars should come from Dong Mansion."

Han Kongque was naturally very happy when he got the answer he wanted to know.

The two people were talking, and Han Kongque was also asking about Shi Lei's Taobao experience. At this time, Li Xiaoyi walked in.

"Brother, what happened this morning was broadcast on TV, I think you might be interested." After saying that, Li Xiaoyi turned on the TV.

Turning on the TV, Han Peacock saw a huge title: The Past and Present Life of Pengcheng Gold and Silverware.

The weather in February turns from warm to cold. In a suburb of Pengcheng, the land is surrounded by green rapeseed fields, with bits of golden blooming in the green.

In a corner of the city, the Pengcheng City Museum has its gate open and looks a bit deserted. The two-story brick and wood structure building from the Republic of China looks a bit abrupt and special against the surrounding reinforced concrete buildings.

Walking into the museum exhibition hall, the world-famous Pengcheng Song Dynasty gold and silverware is in front of you.

The exquisite gold and silver cultural relics in the cellar gleam with cold light, witnessing the former glory of this land in Pengcheng.

The director of Pengcheng City Museum, as a witness to the excavation, sorting and exploration of gold and silverware in Pengzhou, introduced the relevant situation of these rare treasures to reporters.

It can be said that this is truly a treasure that has been stored for thousands of years.

A total of 351 cultural relics were unearthed from the gold and silverware cache of the Song Dynasty in Pengcheng. The artifacts are rich in variety and exquisitely crafted. Once discovered, it shocked the domestic archaeological community.

The discovery of the gold and silverware hoard was very accidental. Why there were so many gold and silverware in one hoard and why they were buried in Pengcheng are still a mystery.

In November 1993, infrastructure construction was underway on West Street, a prosperous commercial district in a small town in downtown Pengcheng City.

On the infrastructure construction site of the Lijie Neighborhood Committee, several farmers dug foundation pits in accordance with the project requirements. After digging more than 2 meters deep, the work of digging the foundation pit was coming to an end. It was already getting late and the farmers were ready to call it a day.

Suddenly, a farmer discovered a regular stone slab on the wall at the bottom of the pit. He called his companions to pry the stone slab home together.

This pry made a shocking discovery.

After several farmers carefully pried off the stone slab, they discovered that there was a big hole under the stone slab.

In the dim light of dusk, with squinted eyes, they saw that the pit was filled with all kinds of dark pots and pans.

After taking out a few items and observing them carefully, they discovered that these items were either gold or silver. They immediately realized that they had discovered cultural relics by accident.

For a time, the news of the treasure found underground spread throughout Pengcheng City.

During the excavation and cleaning, cultural relics personnel discovered that the gold and silverware cellar was more than two meters deep from the ground. The bottom and walls of the cellar were made of blue bricks, and the upper part was covered with three long strips of stone slabs.

The brick cellar is 1.2 meters long, 1 meter wide and 0.9 meters deep. It is filled with gold and silverware. There are obvious traces of the gold and silverware being wrapped with linen gauze on the surface, but the linen gauze has long been wiped out.

A stone slab in the middle of the top has been crushed by the soil over the years, and some gold and silverware have also been crushed.

Because there was a water pipe above the cellar that kept leaking, when the cultural relics staff opened the brick cellar, the gold and silverware had already been severely corroded.

Through cleaning, a total of 351 cultural relics were unearthed, of which 343 artifacts could be identified in shape, including 27 gold artifacts and the rest were silver artifacts.

These utensils are rich in variety, unique in shape, and exquisite in decoration, which are very rare in China.

Although such a cellar has been discovered, the origin of this "first cellar" is difficult to explain.

More than 350 pieces of gold and silverware were found in a cellar, and it is the largest gold and silverware cellar discovered in the country so far. Therefore, it is known as "the first gold and silver cellar in the world."

Later, after appraisal by the National Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, this batch of cultural relics included 115 national first-class cultural relics. Pengcheng gold and silverware has since become famous all over the world.

In terms of dating, the shapes and inscriptions of the artifacts provided experts with direct evidence that these cultural relics were fine gold and silverware from the Song Dynasty.

But who owns these gold and silverware and why they are hidden underground? It is difficult to find a definite answer.

According to experts, it was probably buried due to an unexpected incident and later forgotten by people for various reasons. After it was rediscovered, it was called a "hoard".

Dozens of gold and silverware hoards have been discovered in China, including more than a dozen in the Song Dynasty.

The processing technology of gold and silverware reached its highest level during the Tang and Song Dynasties. Due to the preciousness of its texture and the special nature of multiple uses, the shape and pattern of a kind of vessel will not be retained for a long time. It will often change with the society.

Changes due to changes in atmosphere.
