Chapter 16 Finding Food

Zhan Shang knew in his heart that he had completely entered the area where the old man said that the mountain spirits and ghosts were entrenched, and the surroundings were full of dangers.

Fortunately, it's daytime now, so the risk is much reduced.

He quickly ran along the quiet path in the jungle, paying careful attention to the movements on both sides, and his ears and eyes began to function respectively.

The little monkey lying on his shoulder also seemed very nervous, holding his hair firmly with both claws, turning its little monkey head left and right, and its two big eyes kept patrolling around.

After entering the mountain, two hours had passed. Zhan Shang calculated the distance traveled in his mind and found that it was close to more than a hundred miles.

In other words, if he wanted to get to Wangchuan Peak quickly, it would take at least about 5 hours.

He was about to speed up and move forward, but his stomach began to growl unsatisfactorily.

It's no wonder that he hasn't eaten anything since he drank a bowl of white porridge under Yu Zhu's service in the morning.

Especially in the past month, he had either soup or gruel every day, and at most he drank some broth in between. He had almost never had a full meal.

Gululu.

His physical strength was still endless, but his stomach felt uncomfortable with hunger.

What should I do now? Where can I find food in the forest?

Zhan Shang has never cooked for himself. When he didn't have a girlfriend, his mother cooked for him. After he got a girlfriend, it was his girlfriend who cooked. He always ate ready-made food.

Now looking at his hungry stomach and deep in the forest, he was completely speechless.

However, thinking of the little monkey behind him, Zhan Shang's heart moved. He really had no choice but to go look for fruits in the trees to see if there were any edible fruits. He would get a few to fill his stomach before heading on his way.

As soon as he thought of it, he immediately rushed towards the dense forest on the left. He took off with an arrow and his figure quickly drew a string of afterimages in the air, quickly rushing up to the branches of a big tree.

The dense branches and leaves blocked his sight, and Zhan Shang was looking for something to eat.

But to be honest, he couldn't even distinguish the types of fruit trees. Now that he came to this magical Yunhuang Continent, the strange trees made his eyes darken, and he didn't know what they were.

The leaves were green and dense, but after he searched all over the branches, not to mention anything edible, he couldn't even find the black thorny balls that the monkeys had thrown at him not long ago.

Some discouraged Zhan Shang began to jump between the big trees in the forest, heading deep into the mountains and old forests, looking for something to satisfy his hunger.

All the way through the dense trees, his figure was as agile as an ape, and his wind-like speed made him feel so good that he couldn't help but shout loudly.

Ouch.

Ouch.

Ouch.

The high-pitched sound shuttled through the quiet woods, frightening the strange birds perched on the trees and flying high in all directions.

Ouch!

After Zhan Shang's howl, many wild beasts followed him in the depths of the forest and howled loudly. He was so frightened that the hair on his body stood on end, and he no longer dared to bark.

Gradually, after walking through the forest for a few minutes, he was already hundreds of meters away from the human walking path. The forest here was even denser. The huge crowns of the big trees overlapped each other, completely blocking the sunlight above the head. It was already

A spooky dark environment!

On the ground beneath his feet, black shadows appeared from time to time, with beast-like red eyes that made Zhan Shang feel numb in his heart.

These strange creatures include a lynx with a single horn, a giant blue python as thick as a bucket, a giant white tiger, and a red deer that only jumps in the forest.

Deer!

Zhan Shang looked at the deer not far away and suddenly had an idea in his mind.

If you can't find fruit, then eat meat.

After not smelling meat for a month, he immediately felt like his mouth was watering.

He gradually slowed down the speed of jumping among the trees and began to quietly approach the deer that were eating low shrubs and watching the surroundings vigilantly.

These timid animals don't seem to realize that danger is approaching from above their heads.

Zhan Shang quietly jumped up the big tree, and finally came to a group of red deer. He locked onto the fattest male deer with curved horns on its head, and prepared to attack.

Xiao Hei seemed to know what he was thinking, and had jumped from his shoulder to the branch, where he was chewing leaves quietly.

Swish!

There was a flash of blue light on the top of the tree, and Zhan Shang quickly fell towards the ground.

He stretched out his arms and immediately hugged the buck's neck, twisting his hands hard before it could react.

Click!

There was a sound of cracking bones, and the buck lay down on the ground without even humming, his neck twisted into a twist!

Damn, it’s so bloody!

Zhan Shang looked at his hands in surprise, realizing for the first time that he actually had such great strength.

This male deer weighed at least a hundred or two kilograms, but he was able to easily kill it in one fell swoop!

The sound of hooves sounded, and the deer around them were frightened and fled in all directions. Only Zhan Shang and the body of the male deer were left in the clearing of the forest.

Just as he was about to stand up and put away the deer carcass and climb up the tree, he suddenly saw a red halo rising from the body of the male deer and rushing towards his body.

In Zhan Shang's doubtful eyes, the red light slowly floated to the top of his head and suddenly disappeared into his forehead!

This is.

He stayed there in surprise, not understanding what was happening?

What on earth is this light group and how could it fly into his body?
