732. Chapter 732 The abbot who used the rich gold

Monk Taiping naturally longs for peace in the world. People who shed their armor and return to the fields of Falcon can understand it and respect it deeply from the heart. But why did he go directly to the temple and become a monk within half a year of returning to his hometown? And Feiying’s hometown is Beihe.

Ji County is a county with a history of 8,000 years.

The most popular explanation is that a flying eagle is a flying eagle. The 20 years of life in the army have made him forget how to live in ordinary society and ordinary people. When he returned to his hometown, his parents were gone and there was only one who was 8 years older than him.

Brother, but he couldn't get along with his brother and sister-in-law, so he drank all day long to drown his sorrows.

Of course he was not willing to leave the army and Falcon, but his stubborn temper forced him to leave. He instantly changed from a special hero and special instructor to a useless cripple and an incompetent person.

Not to mention going home and marrying a wife at the age of 45, even if he finds a job, he will be rejected immediately when he sees that he only has one hand. It is difficult for a healthy man to find a job these days, let alone a disabled drunkard? A person who likes hugging

A disability that can cause trouble at any time?

Fortune plays tricks on people, and fate plays tricks on people. So in the end, Feiying had no choice but to be accepted as a disciple by Abbot Kuchan of Dule Temple, and he entered Buddhism from then on.

But Kuchan insisted on one thing, that is, Fei Ying was just a lay disciple, he had no grades and did not have the rules of a bald monk. He was even allowed to eat meat twice a month.

This is simply a great gift.

Just put Tang Lin in Fei Ying's shoes and think about it. If it were him, he would rather die than become a lay monk in the temple. What does this mean? But he had seen Ku Chan, and he knew that everything was because of

This thin, square, bald monk spoke with precision, making it impossible for him to refute.

This is a very awesome monk, at least Tang Lin thinks so. Moreover, his cheekbones are extremely high, and his temples on both sides are particularly bright. It is obvious that this thin old monk is a master of internal medicine.

Experts are among the people, and the truth has always been there.

Originally, Chu Feifei really wasn't interested in the mountain gate at all, but when she actually got out of the car and saw the mountain gate, she was immediately attracted.

The mountain gate is the main passage into the temple. It is three rooms wide and two rooms deep. There is a passage in the middle. The first two rooms are two colorful clay sculptures of Vajra warriors from the Liao Dynasty. The last two rooms are the "Four Heavenly Kings" painted in the Qing Dynasty.

Colorful mural.

The mountain gate has thick beams and pillars, and a majestic bracket with obvious "rising" and "side legs". The roof is the verandah roof, with five ridges and four slopes on all sides, also known as the "Si'adading". The mountain gate of Dule Temple is the earliest existing veranda hall in my country. Dingshan Gate. The owl kisses at both ends of the main ridge are vivid and simple in shape, original to the Liao Dynasty.

Chu Feifei's interest doubled as she looked around, but what she was thinking about surprised ordinary people, "Tang Lin, do you think it would be very impressive if I bought this beam and pillar to use as the front door of my house?"

Tang Lin raised his hand and touched his nose, "Chu Feifei, this is a cultural heritage. The state protects cultural relics. Buying and selling cultural relics is illegal!" Chu Feifei was very unconvinced, "Tsk, you underestimate the power of money. Do you want to bet? Sister?

What if I buy it?”

Tang Lin stopped paying attention to her. At least he knew how to adapt to women now. Also, he had a good memory and never tried to reason with a woman.

However, he himself was also looking at the special carvings on the door. The owl snouts at both ends of the main spine and the fish tail fins turned inward. This was different from the large snout dragon tail turned outwards in the temple buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was an earlier real owl tail.

In the middle of the south eaves, there is a "Dule Temple" flat forehead, which is said to have been written by Yan Song in the Ming Dynasty. In the middle of the mountain gate is the doorway, with statues of Generals Heng and Ha on both sides, which are majestic; there are colorful paintings on the gables on both sides, which are flashy. vulgar.

Going further inside, the main building, Guanyin Pavilion, is a three-story wooden structure. Because the second floor is a dark room and has no eaves to separate it from the third floor, it looks like a two-story building.

The pavilion is 23 meters high, surrounded by waist eaves and sitting railings in the middle, and a single eaves resting on the mountain top. The flying eaves are far-reaching and beautiful. On the Xumizuo in the center of the pavilion, there are two 16-meter-high clay statues of Guanyin Bodhisattva standing on the head. It reaches the top of the third floor. Because there are ten small Guanyin heads on its head, it is also called the "Eleven-faced Guanyin".

The face is plump and kind, the shoulders are drooped, the torso is slightly leaning forward, and the posture is dignified, seemingly moving but not moving. Although it was made in the Liao Dynasty, its artistic style is similar to the works of the Tang Dynasty, and it is one of the largest clay Buddha statues in existence.

On both sides of the Guanyin statue, there is a statue of a Bodhisattva with a well-proportioned shape and graceful posture. This is also the original statue of the Liao Dynasty. The four walls of the lower floor of the Guanyin Pavilion are covered with colorful paintings, including standing statues of sixteen Arhats and three-headed, six-armed or four-armed statues. A portrait of the King of the Ming Dynasty, with paintings of mountains, forests, clouds, water and secular themes. This is a work by a painter of the Ming Dynasty. It is well preserved to this day, with clear pictures and bright colors.

The Guanyin Pavilion has a statue of Guanyin as the center, surrounded by two rows of columns. Dougongs are placed on the columns, and beams and beams are placed on the dougongs. Wooden columns, dougongs and beams are erected on top of them. The interior is divided into three floors, allowing people to admire it from different heights. Buddha; beams and beams are set around the statue, forming a patio in the middle, which runs from top to bottom to accommodate the body of the statue. The top of the statue is covered with a Douba caisson, and the entire internal space is closely integrated with the Buddha statue. The light inside the pavilion is darker, and the front light is more abundant. , the image is clear, and only the outline can be seen on the back, thus strengthening the mystery of the Buddhist temple. There are thousands of beams, columns, and brackets in the entire pavilion, but they are arranged and used very regularly. The connecting parts of beams and columns are determined by their position and function. Different from each other, 24 types of brackets are used. Their size and shape, whether used to set off statues or decorate buildings, are very coordinated, showing the outstanding achievements of the Liao Dynasty's wooden structure construction technology. Although this pavilion has experienced many major earthquakes, it still remains today. Standing majestically, it is the oldest existing wooden structure high-rise pavilion in China and is famous for its superb construction techniques.

Then the two of them saw a thin monk wearing gray monk robes and gray cloth shoes, twisting Buddha beads in his hands, and with a square bald head on the right side of the Guanyin Pavilion facing the Bodhisattva statue.

Tang Lin immediately strode up and said, "Hello, Master, I'm here again! And this time I want to take away the flying eagle!" But Kuchan just raised his head and glanced at him for a moment, then continued to lower his head and chant sutras in a very soft voice. , I couldn’t hear the specific scripture that was being recited. Anyway, Chu Feifei was very interested again!

She didn't have any rules. In fact, she believed in Buddhism more than Tang Lin in her heart. However, she wanted to laugh when she saw the old monk with a bald head in front of her, and then she laughed directly, "Haha, master, this is the first time I have seen such a square head. You are really an amazing person. So, the little girl drove all the way here in person, how about you show me your face? The little girl knows that the master doesn’t talk about money, so after the master reads it, the little girl will consciously donate some sesame oil money. ,OK?"

But faced with such a graceful natural beauty, Kuchan didn't react at all. He didn't even look at the chirping Chu Feifei. Instead, he clasped his hands together and said, "Namo Amitabha, female donor, please be quiet and please respect yourself!"

Chu Feifei was immediately annoyed, but she did not give up and continued to attack, "Master, are you trying to raise the price? This Dule Temple is also a scenic spot. I don't think there are that many tourists. You have to live.

Right? The little girl is here to ask about marriage sincerely. If the master is upright and compassionate and does not take any money from the little girl and does not ask for any extra money from the little girl, then the little girl will naturally be happy to cooperate. The little girl is not a rich person. She is old and still

I can’t find a suitable man, and my family is under a lot of pressure, ugh..."

Chu Feifei was making such a fuss that she was here to ask about marriage, which made Tang Lin almost want to die, and no matter what, she was teasing Lao Kuchan, who had been practicing Qingxiu for 60 years and was now over 80 years old. To be honest, he really felt sorry for Lao Kuchan.

I sweated a lot, could the old monk withstand Chu Feifei's teasing?
