12. Chapter 12 The full moon is not full

"Sister-in-law, you are wrong. The boss married you to get the old man's approval. Everyone here knows that the boss likes my little love..." As Pei Ze spoke, he looked at Jane Eyre and his eyebrows became gentle.

Jane Eyre avoided Pei Ze's focused and tender eyes and looked at Pei Chi instead.

Seeing this, Chu Xia kicked Pei Ze again.

She looked back and forth between Pei Ze and Jane Eyre, and felt that Jane Eyre was a very powerful vixen who actually fell in love with the Pei brothers at the same time.

If she had the ability to be charming like Jane Eyre, she would definitely be able to capture Pei Chi, an arrogant young man!

With emotion, Chu Xia asked everyone to leave some food for her, then left the dining room and returned to the bedroom to search for a shirt. She soon found one and was about to put it on when she caught sight of someone behind her out of the corner of her eye.

She suddenly looked back and saw Pei Chi, half leaning against the door, and the man standing lazily, looking her up and down.

She raised her chest and raised her head proudly, and asked with a smile: "Did my husband find that I have a good figure and that I am a good wife, and suddenly became interested in me?!"

Pei Chi remained silent. He entered the bedroom, took the shirt from her hand, and helped her put it on with his own hands. He smiled like a flower: "As long as it's my thing, Pei Ze wants to take it for himself. He always feels that I have something in my hand."

His stuff is better, so don’t argue with him."

Chu Xia stupidly let Pei Chi help her get dressed, and took the opportunity to touch Pei Chi's nose, but he held her hand: "When will you change your bad habit of touching your feet?"

"I don't want to change, I don't want to change, my husband is good-looking, and he won't break any laws and regulations." Chu Xia replied disdainfully, her stomach growling with hunger.

People's livelihood issues have to be solved at the moment, so the handsome man should put it aside. She cannot be hungry, she didn't even have time to eat just now.

She ran back to the dining room, only to find that Pei Ze's fellow had poured out all the remaining food in order to retaliate against her. She was so angry that she vomited blood.

Finally, Chu Xia and Pei Chi left the villa one after another.

Chu Xia couldn't see through Pei Chi at all. She always felt that this man was too unpredictable and his temperament was also changeable.

Sometimes he is gentle and affectionate, like helping her get dressed before; sometimes he is violent and cold-blooded, like when he forced her to sleep in a coffin last night.

At this moment, she was following her step by step, as if monitoring her every move.

Chu Xia stopped in front of the canteen and bought a bunch of snacks and two cans of beer, then turned around and handed one to Pei Chi.

"Drink, I'll treat you." Chu Xia said, opening the beer and taking a big sip.

While eating snacks and pouring beer into her mouth, she suddenly felt that her life was complete, and cultivating a relationship with a man was not as important as having a good meal.

"You're a good eater." Pei Chi glanced at the woman beside him who was eating and drinking.

"I have always had a large appetite." Chu Xia did not deny it.

Of course she couldn't tell Pei Chi that she had overeated before and fell into the bad habit of not being able to eat enough. As long as she ate less, she would feel panicked and confused and at a loss what to do.

"What benefits can you get from this marriage with me?!" Pei Chi took a sip of beer into his mouth and opened his lips in a low voice.

"Return to the prosperous life of the past. I used to be a rich man, but I encountered great changes later. I don't want to miss this opportunity to relive it." Chu Xia looked up at the bright moon in the sky.

When the moon is not full, most people in the world are unhappy.

Pei Chi locked Chu Xia's face, trying to find any clues of lying on her face, but to no avail.
