Chapter 241 You are wronged

Five days passed by in a flash. Chu Qingwan arranged everything and embarked on the road to Ruicheng with Mo Jingyu.

Before leaving, the three little ones came to Mo Jingyu mysteriously, handed him a letter, and told him to memorize it by heart.

Chu Qingwan was curious and disgusted: "What did you write? Why is it not mine?"

The three little ones laughed and worked together to push her into the carriage and send her off happily.

Mo Jingyu put the letter into a small box beside him. Chu Qingwan glanced sideways frequently, and it was obvious that he wanted to read it.

Mo Jingyu had a clear view of her movements and deliberately took Qiao. He waited until he got out of the city gate before slowly opening it, and laughed as he looked at it.

He didn't smile often. Seeing this, Chu Qingwan wanted to know what was written inside, but he was so protective that she couldn't see a single word even if she stretched her neck.

Chu Qingwan was scratching his head. After a moment, he gritted his teeth and came to his side: "Your Majesty, let me take a look too."

Mo Jingyu was very stingy: "I won't give it."

Chu Qingwan pursed his lips and reached out to grab it without any explanation.

Just at this moment, the carriage jolted and she couldn't sit firmly. She tilted her body and fell into Mo Jingyu's arms.

This was not the first time. Mo Jingyu skillfully stretched out his hand to steady her and said with a smile: "It's just a letter, why would you throw yourself into my arms?"

Chu Qingwan was a little embarrassed at first, but after hearing this, she simply smashed the jar, looked up into his eyes and said, "Then will you give it to me?"

Mo Jingyu raised the corner of his mouth slightly, his expression a little bit harsh: "I won't give it."

Chu Qingwan was so angry that she punched him in the chest, stood up and sat back down, sulking.

It was past noon and her anger was still there.

Mo Jingyu wanted to coax him, but he really had no experience. After thinking for a long time, he groaned and his hands hanging on his knees suddenly tightened.

When Chu Qingwan heard the movement, she turned her eyes and saw that his brows were frowning and his expression was painful. She immediately lost her breath and asked with concern: "Leg hurts?"

Mo Jingyu pretended to be very similar: "I haven't been out for a long time. The journey has been bumpy and I feel a little uncomfortable."

Chu Qingwan moved closer to him, stretched out her hands to massage him, and complained softly: "Is there no one in the Dayan court? You have to go."

Seeing her focused look, Mo Jingyu felt a little guilty, but mostly happy.

The harmless little awkwardness between the two disappeared and they became harmonious from then on.

Ruicheng is not too far from Kyoto, but the horse-drawn carriage travels slowly, and it takes at least seven days to arrive.

On the third day, a group of people came to Jincheng.

The moment he stepped into the city gate, the first thing Chu Qingwan worried about was: "Your Majesty, please take a nice medicinal bath tonight."

Mo Jingyu nodded obediently and sent Lin Yu to find the best inn in the city, but was told that there was only one room available.

Chu Qingwan made a quick decision: "Change."

The shopkeeper said: "It would be the same no matter how many houses there are. There will be a 'Qiao Qiao Festival' tomorrow. The city is full of young men and young ladies who come to Yue Lao Temple to worship Yue Lao. I am the only one who has an empty room here."

The Yuelao Temple in Jincheng is famous for its efficacious functions. Therefore, whenever it comes to begging for tricks, there is an endless stream of people coming here. The prefect of Jincheng senses the business opportunity and holds a grand event every year on this day. The lights in the city never stop day and night.

Chu Qingwan had heard about it a long time ago, but she didn't believe it, so she asked people to go along the street to ask. Sure enough, all the inns were full.

The shopkeeper smiled and said, "How is it? I didn't lie to you, did I? Madam, please don't hesitate. If you delay for a while, this place will be gone."

"I see that your husband seems to have trouble going upstairs. It just so happens that the last room is at the back near the courtyard."

Chu Qingwan was shocked by his title: "He is not my husband..."

"Shopkeeper, I want this one."

Mo Jingyu didn't let her finish her words, with a smile on his lips: "Unfortunately, there is a grand event in the city. I feel sorry for you, so I'll give it to you, madam."

Madam, husband, you are very agreeable.
