Chapter 329 Don't engage in moral kidnapping

The Tibetan silver grass brought back from Ruicheng was all in the palace's warehouse. Chu Qingwan took out all of it, grinded it into powder, and stored it in porcelain bottles.

She was not as good at treating poison as poison, so she thought twice before starting and decided to ask Zhou Mo for help.

Zhou Mo had not shown his face since the last time he called her and asked her for medicine for her injuries. However, when he arrived in Jincheng on his way home, he sent her a message telling her where to contact her after returning to Beijing.

Following the route he told Chu Qingwan, he and Yanran came to a house with blue bricks and a black door. On the plaque were written four big words in red cinnabar - Haunted House Horror.

Teeth and claws are spread out, and it is bright red. If you look closely, it looks like several skulls stacked on top of each other, which is inexplicably a bit scary.

Chu Qingwan's mouth twitched: "This is it."

Yanran stepped forward and knocked on the door, and it was Shi Fang who opened the door.

He recognized Chu Qingwan and his master and servant, but they had never seen him. He lowered his eyes and asked, "Who are the two girls looking for?"

Yanran said politely: "Hello, we are looking for Mr. Zhou Mo. I wonder if he is at the house?"

When Fang said that he was here, he asked in a full-blown manner: "May I ask your surnames?"

Yanran reported her name and added: "Excuse me, please tell me that she is my young lady. Mr. Zhou will meet you."

Shi Fang turned sideways and invited them in: "You two sit down for a moment, I'll call the young master right now."

After finishing speaking, he turned to the backyard.

Not long after, Zhou Mo came to the front hall with a smile on his face: "Rare visitor! It's late this morning, long time no see. Uncle Fang, please serve tea."

"Long time no see, what have you been busy with recently?" Chu Qingwan casually said.

"Busy about business." Zhou Mo replied simply, then asked, "Why do you have time to come to my place today?"

Chu Qingwan took the tea from Shi Fang and said, "To be honest, I have a heartfelt invitation."

Zhou Mo raised his eyebrows: "Oh? What's the matter?"

Chu Qingwan said: "You have a lot of research on poisonous poisons. I would like to ask you to do a favor and work with me to help my patients get rid of the hidden silver poison."

Zhou Mo took a sip of tea and did not express his position immediately: "Didn't I tell you the solution?"

Chu Qingwan said bluntly: "Just in case."

Zhou Mo smiled: "It seems that you care about this patient very much. Let me guess who it is, um... Prince Qi?"

A flash of surprise flashed in Chu Qingwan's eyes: "Why didn't you guess my second brother? He is also my patient."

Zhou Mo said confidently: "I don't know your second brother."

Chu Qingwan accepted this statement and did not intend to hide it from him: "You guessed it right, it's King Qi."

Zhou Mo's eyes flashed with light.

Chu Qingwan continued: "I'm looking for you because I trust you. If you agree, you must keep the matter secret. If you don't agree, I won't force you."

Zhou Mo joked: "Will not agreeing affect our friendship with fellow countrymen?"

Chu Qingwan laughed: "Of course not."

It's a matter of friendship to help, but it's a duty not to help. She never engages in moral kidnapping.

Zhou Mo thought for a moment: "You have come to me to ask me for help. How can I not do it? When will I do it?"

Chu Qingwan replied: "Tonight."

Zhou Mo looked surprised, and soon understood: "It seems that whether I agree or not, you will help King Qi get rid of the poison."

Chu Qingwan was noncommittal.

She doesn't do anything she's not sure about, and when she chooses to implement it, she must be well prepared. However, there are no absolutes in the world, and she always hopes to have a little more guarantee.

And this point is Zhou Mo.

She waited at the house for a while. Zhou Mo changed his clothes and put three fine lancets in his waist.

Chu Qingwan joked: "Those who didn't know better thought you were going to kill people."

Zhou Mo touched his belt: "I'm here for self-defense. After all, it's my first time entering the palace and I'm scared."

He paused slightly as he spoke, then asked quickly after a moment: "But having said that, if I really go to kill King Qi, what will you do?"

Chu Qingwan glanced at him: "Can you do it?"

Zhou Mo didn't answer.
