Scrap Discussion

This chapter was originally supposed to be posted last night, but as I was writing it last night, it took several different directions when the Yingjiang technicians came on stage.

The soldier originally thought that there were only two directions: one was the scientific geek who fully supported the protagonist, and the other was the arrogant and arrogant type who was slapped in the face.

I wrote about both directions, but they both feel a little wrong.

Then I thought hard all night, and it wasn't until this morning that I thought of another direction: the type where talent is not appreciated.

Now I will post the scraps of the two directions. Brothers are welcome to discuss in the comment area to see which direction is better.

Wasted manuscript one (research geek type):

Wang Xuexin originally thought that Colonel Hogan would slam the door and leave in anger, or use the radio to report to his superiors and ask to return.

But I didn’t expect Colonel Hogan to laugh after being stunned for a while: "Interesting, you imagined those equipment out of thin air and even produced a rocket launcher? We produced the rocket launcher, but it cost more than two million US dollars, a research team and

Two fully equipped laboratories!”

Colonel Hogan said to Wang Xuexin: "At least, we have a lot of room for cooperation on this point!"

Wang Xuexin agreed.

Yingjiang has a rocket launcher, and the Eighth Route Army also has a rocket launcher, and has actual combat experience and has developed various types of ammunition... Of course, Yingjiang also wants to know the performance and data of these rocket launchers on the battlefield, and improve his own rocket launcher accordingly.

However, Wang Xuexin believes that the cooperation with Yingjiang will not end there.

Colonel Hogan was interested in everything he saw.

This first stems from the fact that he is a scientific researcher with a military background... Hogan was originally a mechanic. He had a natural interest in the manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft. During World War I, he even flew a fighter jet and participated in the battle as a pilot.

As a soldier, Hogan has experienced life and death moments on the battlefield. He was so frightened by the scene that he almost chose to escape.

Who knows how much courage he mustered up to fight the enemy plane until the last moment and shoot it down.

However, Hogan never had the courage to go to the battlefield after that, which was the main reason why he turned to scientific research.

Therefore, he has great respect for those soldiers who can face life and death on the battlefield.

The young man in front of him, this Chinese soldier known as "Wang Xuexin"...the first thing Hogan saw was the murderous look in his eyes.

Hogan understood that only soldiers who have experienced life and death on the battlefield can have such a temperament.

From this point alone, Hogan thinks they are worthy of respect.

not to mention,

Wasted manuscript two (slap in the face):

His first words after meeting Wang Xuexin were: "Hello, Mr. Wang, I have heard a lot about your designs and I am very interested in them. Can I see your laboratory?"

"Laboratory?" Wang Xuexin looked confused: "What laboratory?"

"I mean..." Hogan spread his hands: "Where you work!"

When Wang Xuexin brought Colonel Hogan to his dormitory, Colonel Hogan couldn't react for a long time. He asked Wang Xuexin: "Mr. Wang, you mean...this is where you created those landmines and viscous gasoline?"

"

Wang Xuexin laughed.

"Sorry, Colonel!" Wang Xuexin replied: "We don't have as favorable conditions as you think. The 'laboratory' where I created those things can be said to be a battlefield!"

Colonel Hogan asked doubtfully: "You mean... there is no laboratory?"

"No!" Wang Xuexin answered truthfully.

Colonel Hogan blushed, then looked at Wang Xuexin angrily and said, "This is so crazy, this is just a joke! We came here from more than 10,000 kilometers away to work in a place like this?"

The translator translated these words to Wang Xuexin, and then added a few words: "Mr. Wang, Colonel Hogan is a doctor from Sri Lanka, and the technical personnel we have brought are all military and industrial elites. We are very sincere in helping your army, but

But your army received it in this way..."

"This is your problem!" Wang Xuexin met the translator's gaze without giving in and replied: "First of all, I hope you understand one thing. You are not here to help our army, but to cooperate. If you don't coordinate clearly,

Then please come back!"

Zhao Gang became a little anxious after hearing this, but just as he was about to step forward to speak, he was stopped by Li Yunlong.

Li Yunlong whispered: "Don't worry, if you don't suppress the momentum of the foreign devils at the beginning, you will be in trouble later! Leave it to Xiao Dongbei!"

Zhao Gang thought it was right when he heard it, so he refrained from stepping forward.

Colonel Hogan said helplessly to Wang Xuexin:

The soldier personally believes that Yingjiang has not paid much attention to the field of rockets before joining the war. It is impossible to completely change the view of rocket equipment just because of the protagonist's research and development. Therefore, the ranks and levels of the technicians sent out in scraps 1 and 2 are a bit too high.

It's too high, and a little inappropriate. After much deliberation, I came up with the third option, which is the direction of the text.

This is actually one of the reasons why soldiers code slowly. Many plots cannot be coded by soldiers easily. They need to be thought about and deleted. Sometimes it is normal for a few chapters to be scrapped.

So brothers, please bear with me in terms of speed!
