Shelf Reflection

I just received a notification that it will be released at 12 o'clock tonight, and there will be four chapters.

The reason why I use "reflection" instead of "reflection" here is because of the lessons learned from the previous book.

I find that sometimes I can’t let myself go too much when writing novels. Occasionally, because I’m busy, don’t have time, or have something to do, I rush to update and the quality deteriorates. I find that there is no problem, and then it’s easy to lose control and let myself go.

This may be a kind of inertia of human beings, which is often said that "the heart is like a wild horse, it is easy to let go but hard to rein in".

This directly led to the fact that the last book was written very carefully in the early stage, and in the middle, there was basically no characterization and it was all about telling stories... This writing method is relatively relaxed, because you only need to think about how the plot will develop, and you don’t need to think about how someone will act at this time.

What will his character do, what will he think, how will other people react, etc.

Therefore, this book pays special attention to characterization from the beginning.

In the future, I will make a summary and reflection on each volume, just like a post-war summary, to remind myself not to relax and to accept the supervision of readers.

The one with the most distinctive character in this book should be Li Yunlong.

First of all, I should thank Teacher Du Liang. He drew this character. I just continued to draw it according to the mold he drew...more precisely, I just made the character Li Yunlong live in this book.

Although he is the commander of the Eighth Route Army, he only talks about loyalty and does not follow the rules at all. Even fighting the Japanese is all about loyalty... "Damn it, the devils have killed so many of my brothers and sisters, we won't follow you."

Is Dou still considered a person after all?”

Because of his sense of loyalty, he took the risk of Japanese reinforcements arriving to duel with the Japanese on the battlefield (it was described in the original book, but in the TV series it was changed to a duel with the officers of the Japanese observation group).

Because of his sense of loyalty, he led his troops to attack the county without hesitation when Xiu Qin was arrested.

Because of his loyalty to the community, when the monk was killed, he dared to forcibly imprison Ding Wei and led his troops to fight against the bandits who had been incorporated into the Eighth Route Army.

Which of these is not a violation of discipline?

Picking out any one of them is a capital offense.

Especially the last one...

What is the purpose of imprisoning the commander of the Eighth Route Army?

Those bandits have been integrated, which means they are the Eighth Route Army. Li Yunlong still leads the troops to take them away... What kind of behavior is this?

Therefore, some readers said that Li Yunlong in my novel made various mistakes when doing things, ignored discipline, had no sense of right and wrong, and so on...

If Li Yunlong cares about this, he is not Li Yunlong.

He even fights the Japanese because of his "loyalty" and not because of his view of "right and wrong". As for "right and wrong"... which one can compare to leading soldiers to kill the bandits who have been organized into the Eighth Route Army?

If we do this, how will the Eighth Route Army recruit the bandits and negotiate with them?

If we have a good conversation on the front foot, but the back foot has taken over the rest of the family, how will we continue to work in the future?

Li Yunlong is such a person, no matter what the rules are, what is right and wrong... I don't accept this, I just talk about loyalty.

It is Zhao Gang who enforces rules and disciplines, and only Zhao Gang can make Li Yunlong's character move in the direction of rules.

However, Zhao Gang couldn't control Li Yunlong's personality. He could only achieve a delicate balance.

I am also working hard to portray the personalities of other characters.

For example, Zhang Wanhe is as scheming as an old fox, but he is always sharp-tongued and has a soft heart. He will always relent after being chastised by others, so meeting Li Yunlong is like meeting the God of Plague.

Another example is the instructor. He always has a subjective tendency and is used to thinking, speaking, and doing ideological work in a positive way about the soldiers he has a good impression of.

For the heroine Su Xin, I hope to create a fragile but strong character... Fragility is natural, but people born in that era have to be strong. Although there is a contradiction, there is nothing they can do about it, so as to reflect the cruelty of war and the environment from the side.

Harsh and difficult conditions.

This role may not be obvious until now because there is not much writing on it.

There is also a small problem:

I spent a few days thinking about the characters of several supporting characters in the Enemy Industry Department, such as Li Dachui, the old man, Xiao Trumpet, the ugly boy, and the instructor.

Then suddenly the plot changes and the protagonist is about to leave the enemy's engineering department and join the combat unit.

I was shocked to find that several characters that I had carefully crafted after thinking about it for a long time were suddenly useless!

We can't take this away... we can't transfer all the enemy's engineering department to the combat troops!

What a pity, heartache, and distress!

After much deliberation, I finally took away an instructor, so there is a plot in the article where the instructor follows him.

At the same time, the soldier said one more thing: because this book carefully considers the character of the characters and carefully depicts them, the coding is slow. The soldier often sat and coded for a whole day before finishing three chapters. I hope all book friends can understand.

Finally, I would like to thank the editors for cookies and supper, as well as Rubber and Tianqi. Only with the support of all editors can this book grow smoothly.

Thank you all book friends for your support and subscription, thank you for your encouragement, rewards and encouragement!

How is the quality of this book? Please read the follow-up...
