Chapter 564: Rain

"Actually, if I have to say it, I felt like my mother had been here at that time."

"Mother?"

"She is a village woman in a remote village in England. She has no education and makes a living by collecting herbs and trading them in the town."

"Commissioner Carl, please clarify the content of our conversation. I am questioning you on behalf of the Executive Department about what caused the group of dead waiters to go crazy that night. I am not asking you to recall your deceased mother. No offense intended."

"I know." Commissioner Karl, who was sitting in the interrogation room of the Enforcement Department, nodded. "You haven't been there personally and it's difficult for me to explain to you what I saw and heard."

"You mentioned before that you smelled mint."

"My mother loved to pick a bunch of mint and put it on her body every time she came home, so probably my childhood impression of my mother was the smell of mint."

"Besides mint? What else did you see then?"

"rain."

"Rain?" The inquiring commissioner couldn't help but press his forehead, "You were inside the Pearl Tower at that time, how could you see the rain? Commissioner Carl, I hope you can cooperate with our work. This conversation will be recorded in

It’s in your personal file! We need to know how those dead waiters in the Pearl Tower died."

"I think I have been very cooperative with your work." Commissioner Carl paused, "Why do you have to ask me instead of Commissioner Lin."

The inquiring commissioner paused, leaned back slightly and watched Commissioner Karl twitch his face, "There are always various reasons."

Commissioner Karl was silent for a while, looked at the inquiring commissioner and nodded, saying, "Rain is just a description because for a moment I really thought it was raining in the tower."

"What did you actually see?"

"Have you ever seen documentaries about the war? Movies too, such as "Blood in Warsaw"? That Polish war film." Commissioner Karl said.

"Yeah, tell me."

"In the movie, when bombers drop explosives and hit crowds gathered in the city, a few seconds later there will be red rain from the sky three blocks away from the center of the explosion, and severed fingers and ears will fall from the sky.

The blood, mud and bones hit the roof of the car like hail, like a red rain."

"You mean at that time?" The inquiring commissioner suddenly shuddered, and he realized what the riddle-like answer between Commissioner Karl meant.

"I can't find any other rhetoric to describe that scene. When I saw that scene, I just thought of the rain." Commissioner Karl looked at the ceiling of the interrogation room. "At that time, I was close to the guardrail and looked up to the top of the Pearl Tower. I just saw

A black rainstorm has arrived.”

Pearl Tower.

Sitting blankly on the stairs of the emergency corridor, Lu Mingfei and Little Heavenly Girl watched the group of dead waiters roaring at the top of their lungs outside the guardrail as they climbed up like crazy, digging their claws into the wall with each climb.

A large amount of gravel, the people fleeing in the corridor sat on the stairs and did not dare to move, feeling the black air flow passing by, the fishy wind and the smell of blood rushed into the nostrils, whenever one of them stopped.

If a group of people gather together, disaster will befall them.

But none of these deadpools stopped. The climbing speed was so fast that it blurred into a black air current, which reminded people of the blurry shadows flying past on the track. They tried their best to rush to the high ground.

The top of the tower seems to be their paradise or the New Jerusalem, and they are either rushing to reincarnate or make a pilgrimage.

Everyone in the corridor held their breath. Everyone could hear each other's thunderous heartbeats and rapid breathing. They didn't know what was happening, but they were sure that something terrible was going on quietly.

After the Deadpools swept past, the dark corridor fell into dead silence. Nothing could be seen or heard. Everyone looked at each other with panic and helplessness on their faces.

The first thing that broke the dead silence in the corridor was a loud roar, like a baby's throat stretched to its tiniest limit, and then suddenly stopped.

Then a heavy field substance suddenly fell, hitting everyone on the head like an invisible ceiling. Anyone standing immediately fell to their knees on the ground, their hearts beating so fast that they stepped on the accelerator, and their pupils

He opened his mouth as wide as he could and breathed as hard as he could to avoid suffocating under the pressure.

The golden eyes of several hybrids hidden in the crowd emerged uncontrollably. Their pupils were trembling as if they were experiencing pressure several times greater than that of others. They were breathing heavily, and their bones and muscles were trembling. As hybrids,

Their natural instinct madly reminded them to run to higher ground and something terrible was coming!

A drop of black water dropped from the top of the tower, hit the guardrail and splashed out, breaking the silent feeling of suffocation and pressure.

Then came the heavy rain, and for a while there was a noisy sound of rain in the silent tower.

Listening to the noisy and peaceful sound of rain, someone climbed hard to the guardrail and stretched out his hand. His mouth was dry and he wanted to catch a few drops of rainwater, but white mist and hissing suddenly appeared in his palm.

There was a loud noise and the unbearable pain made him roar and retreat into the corridor. There were corroded black scars on his clenched right hand!

It was not a heavy rain, but a huge amount of black blood! It poured down from the top of the tower as if the floodgates had been opened!

The howling wind sounded in the dark corridor, and a black shadow fell down at high speed and hit the guardrail of the exit. Black blood squeezed and spattered into the crowd. Many people screamed and took off their clothes.

The corroded clothes left corroded scars on the body.

Many people looked at the twisted black shadow on the guardrail in horror. It was the torso of a Deadpool with no limbs and head. It hit the guardrail and dented the steel guardrail. On the man's stick-like body

They were shocking wounds. Those wounds were not caused by cutting with a sharp weapon, but were torn and twisted with almost brute force. The scales and bones at the broken finger mouth twisted and rotated, and black and red rotten flesh exploded. It can be imagined that the arm was damaged.

The tremendous pain Deadpool endured when he was artificially rotated and unscrewed.

On the lower floor, Commissioner Carl leaned against the corner, holding on to the guardrail with his body covered in blood and looking at the corpses falling in the rain. A Deadpool with only half its head left hit the stairs on his floor.

On the top, the deadpool's head was dented by the force of the smash, but half of its dark golden eyes were still hanging in shame. The tragic scene made the corner of his mouth twitch violently. It can be imagined that this deadpool was hit by a

He threw his arm and hit his cheek, causing half of his head to disappear.

Just looking at the body of the dead Deadpool, everyone could almost smell the cruelty on it. He took a deep breath and lay on his back on the wall. He firmly pressed his right hand on his bleeding waist and finally passed out.

As he passed by, all around him were Deadpool's mutilated body and a Beretta pistol that was corroded by black blood.

Hell-like roars sounded one after another at the top of the tower, and black shadows hit the walls and guardrails one after another. Under the light of the emergency lights, twisted heads with only half of their faces left, broken arms, and

Three-thirds of his body fell like gravel.

A large number of corpses mixed with rain began to pour down, hitting the walls and guardrails. Everyone trembled and gritted their teeth as they looked at the broken limbs and broken arms that passed by and fell into the darkness. Deadpool's

Wails roared past, and broken arms collided and rolled down to the corridor, with black blood flowing out.

It's like there's a powerful meat grinder hidden at the top of the tower. Any Deadpool who rushes to the top of the tower will have all their blood squeezed out with shrill roars one after another, and turn into broken corpses and crash down!

After monitoring, in the dark room, on the bronze round table, the petite woman raised her head slightly. On the screen in front of each dark shadow, this black rainstorm washed away everyone's eyes. It was violent, terrifying,

The suffocating threat seemed to clearly stick to their faces through the screen. These black figures subconsciously twitched their nostrils, as if they could smell the endless fishy wind swirling in the black rainstorm.

As those people thought, the air in the black rainstorm was full of rotten fishy smell, but those with a keen sense of smell could smell a wonderful smell in this sudden fishy rainstorm, which was aroma.

A fragrance that even the rancid smell of Deadpool can't cover up.

Beside Lu Mingfei, Su Xiaoqiang looked up at the black abyss where heavy rain and corpses had fallen, as if possessed, and struggled to stand up.

Lu Mingfei on the side was stunned. Su Xiaoqiang reached out and grabbed his collar to stand up and whispered, "Take me up there."

"Are you crazy?" Lu Mingfei's face was tense.

"Help me go up there! Or I can go alone!" Su Xiaoqiang stared into Lu Mingfei's eyes and said word by word.

Lu Mingfei wanted to refute, but he found that Su Xiaoqiang's eyes actually revealed a hint of pleading in his tough eyes. It was the first time he saw this kind of emotion in the eyes of this proud little goddess, and he twitched the corner of his mouth fiercely, "You go up and die."

ah?"

The black rainstorm around them was still falling wildly. The sound of the rain was noisy and disturbing, and heavy muffled sounds continued to fall on the guardrails and the bottom of the abyss of the corridor. Even by looking at the miserable state of the corpses, you could guess the monster that had done it.

What kind of violent things must they be? These ferocious dead waiters are like broken rag dolls in the opponent's hands. They are torn and smashed, and the cotton wool inside is pulled out and sprinkled in this heavy rain.

Now, instead of taking advantage of the opponent's killing spree to escape, they want to go back. Isn't this seeking death?

"Don't go crazy! Why do you always go crazy at times like this!" Lu Mingfei couldn't help shouting.

"He's up there." Su Xiaoqiang whispered.

"What?" Lu Mingfei was stunned.

"Lin Nian is up there! He must be up there!" Su Xiaoqiang stared at Lu Mingfei and growled.

"You" Lu Mingfei looked at Su Xiaoqiang who was struggling to stand up, holding on to the guardrail and walking towards a higher floor step by step. He didn't know where her belief came from. The figure climbing up looked very persistent.

It makes people a little bit dumbfounded.
