62. You will pay me back tonight (1)

In the early morning, the gentle and bright sunshine shines on the earth, giving the beautiful scenery of Auckland a layer of gold.

Wang Aoshuang moved slightly and felt that she was touching a soft object.

She immediately opened her eyes and found herself leaning on Ling Ang's shoulder.

Ling Ang was passive and woke up. He moved his body and felt a numbness and pain in his shoulder. He was afraid of waking her up last night, so he never changed his position. His shoulder was so sore after not moving for 8 hours.

I can't even stretch my arms.

He concealed his pain and said gently: "Good morning."

Wang Aoshuang saw herself leaning on his shoulder all night, her face full of apologies, "I'm sorry. I actually slept on your shoulder all night. Why didn't you wake me up last night?"

He smiled nonchalantly, "Aren't you always so scared that you can't sleep? It's rare that you sleep soundly, so of course I won't call you."

Looking at his tired face, she knew that he must not have slept well last night because of her. She still looked apologetic, "I'm really sorry."

"If I'm sorry again, I need you to pay me back tonight." He joked and walked into the room.

After packing their luggage, the two of them got on the special plane back to Sydney.

On the plane, Ling Ang drank several cups of coffee to remind him and kept looking at the documents.

Wang Aoshuang felt very uncomfortable because she had made him take away so much work.

After getting off the plane, Ling Ang returned to the company.

From then on, she worked tirelessly every day for a week. Many times when she got home, Wang Aoshuang had already gone to bed. She often didn't see him for several days.

That night, when Ling Ang came back, Wang Aoshuang was still sitting in the hall.

He walked into her and asked doubtfully: "Why aren't you asleep yet?"

"Well...I have something to tell you."

Ling Ang sat down, pinched his temples, and said in a reproachful tone: "Why don't you tell me tomorrow? I'll be so sleepy waiting until so late."

Seeing him caring for her all the time, she felt as comfortable as ever. She suddenly felt reluctant to let go of this kind of care. She thought about it for a while, then said: "I have decided to return to China tomorrow."

Although she escaped from Lan Yuchi's clutches, she knew that she could escape only for a while, but not for a lifetime. Her parents were still in the country, and she was afraid that the man would turn his hatred towards her parents.

Ling Ang paused while pressing his temple, then looked up at her, the light in his warm eyes gradually dimmed.

After all, she still wanted to go back to him.

He lowered his eyes to cover up the complexity in his heart, and thought quietly, "Just wait for me for a week. When I finish the work at hand, I will go back with you."

Apologies appeared on her face and she immediately refused, "No, I'll just go back by myself." She had already wasted a lot of his time, and she didn't want to cause him any more trouble.

Frustration flashed across Ling Ang's eyes, but he finally agreed, "Okay then." He looked at her slowly, with a tone of reluctance, "When you go back, take good care of yourself."

Seeing that his tone was a little low, Wang Aoshuang suddenly felt a sadness of parting. She didn't know whether it was because she was used to the environment here or because she was used to his care, but she suddenly felt reluctant to leave.

She pretended to be cheerful and said calmly: "I will take care of myself."

"Well, be careful." He looked at her sadly, then turned and went upstairs.

The next day, Wang Aoshuang left Australia and the country that brought her happiness and hope.
