44. Chapter 44 Live well

What was she going to do? Liuli was confused, and then the door behind her closed.

Not long after entering the house, I vaguely heard a sound in the yard. Someone came in like this, and it was obvious that they were not the Royal Guards. Otherwise, they would not be so sneaky.

"There's no need to search here, right?" one of them asked, looking very disapproving.

"We have to carefully look for places that the Royal Forest Army has not looked for. The ground they have looked for has been turned over three floors, so there is no need to look for it!" The person who spoke was very calm, and then heard something in the yard.

The sound of turning.

The woman suddenly started singing in a low voice. This time Liuli heard clearly that she was singing an opera, but she didn't really like listening to operas, so she didn't know what she was singing, but her voice was very nice.

In this silent evening, the sunset outside was like blood, there was a killer waiting to kill her, and the woman in the room was singing like she was crying. It felt so weird and creepy.

Sure enough, not only her, but also the people outside were stunned for a moment, stopped searching, and cursed in a low voice, "This crazy woman is having another attack!"

"How about killing her together?" one person asked.

Liuli was startled, and subconsciously looked up at the woman. If the other party attacked her, wouldn't he be the one who got her involved?!

However, the woman didn't seem to hear her. Her face was very calm and there was no wave at all. She continued to sing, and her voice became louder and louder as she sang.

There was a sound of spitting from outside, and another person whispered, "No! The Queen Mother did not order her life. What's more, although the Queen Mother was not happy, she still wanted to keep her. Our task now is to find Xue Hu,

Don’t cause trouble!”

"It seems there is no more here, let's find another place!"

The voices of the two people became farther and farther away, and then there seemed to be a sound of wind blowing. Gradually, it became quieter and nothing could be heard.

The woman's hand caressed her slowly and gently, and the voice of the opera gradually turned from louder to softer, just like the record player was coming to an end and slowly disappeared.

She suddenly understood that this woman might not be the crazy woman she was said to be. She was trying to save herself!

But, who is she and why is she locked up here? It sounds like she is at odds with the Queen Mother, but that old woman, who would be at odds with her!

She bent down and put Liuli down. She lay down on the hard bed beside her with her clothes undressed. Even the cotton wool was shabby, and it seemed particularly cold in this late autumn night.

Liuli couldn't help but feel sad when she saw it, so she jumped onto her bed and lay down next to her, as if this could give her a little warmth.

That night, I actually slept soundly, but the palace was almost in a state of chaos.

After rummaging through most of the queen's search, they still couldn't find the whereabouts of Xue Hu. Jun Wuxie's face looked as if a storm was coming.

The Queen Mother was not happy either. Jun Wuxie was not found, and she was not found either. This little evil beast had gone to who knows where!

When the sky was dark, Liuli stretched her body comfortably, but found that her body was empty, and the woman had already gotten up and disappeared.

Her stomach was empty now. She hadn't eaten for almost a day and a night. She was so hungry that her heart pressed against her back and her stomach seemed to be cramping.

People really can't think, whatever they think will come to them!

As soon as she thought about her stomach pain, it became more and more severe. She seemed to be twitching and frowning. She tried to move to divert her attention, but the pain did not lessen at all, but became more serious.

Damn it, if I had known that my stomach would hurt like this, I wouldn't have stopped being so arrogant. It would be okay for people to eat the leftovers. She is just a fox, so why are you being pretentious!

Now, my stomach is starting to protest, and the pain is excruciating!

When the woman pushed the door open and came in, she was seen lying on the bed in a prostrate position. From a distance, it looked like a fox fur mat there.

Liuli raised her head slightly, and the morning light came in from behind her, covering her whole body. She didn't look so haggard and pale, but rather translucent, very beautiful, very fairy!

Normally, she would have been fascinated by it and enjoyed the beautiful scenery, but now, she had no such intention and it was so painful!

The woman paused for a moment, and soon realized something was not right. She walked over quickly and picked her up.

Liuli curled up into a ball in her palm, like a wounded little hedgehog.

She is in so much pain. I wonder why she is so sad?!

It’s not just my stomach that hurts, it seems like every part of my body hurts, especially my heart. Will stomach pain affect my heart?

Looking at her deeply, the woman was silent for a while, holding her in her arms and striding to the entrance of the courtyard, and then walked straight out of the courtyard without stopping.

Liuli was a little strange. She didn't know where she was taking her, but she was in too much pain to react.

Then, she understood!

The woman carried her directly to the door of the courtyard. The front door of the cold palace courtyard was equally deserted. There were still a few dead leaves on the road, which were blown up by the wind and looked desolate.

She frowned. The woman seemed a little anxious and irritable. She looked around, probably looking for the Imperial Guard.

As soon as she took a step to walk out of the courtyard, a patrolling guard immediately saw her and yelled, "What are you doing? You are not allowed to leave the cold palace without authorization without permission!"

But the woman didn't listen and kept walking forward. The guard immediately came forward to greet her. Liuli was even frightened for her. There must be no danger.

Seeing the guard getting closer and closer, the woman finally stopped and looked down at her.

Liuli also raised her head slightly. The pain caused her to half-open her eyes and looked through the gap. The woman's dark eyes were like a deep pool. Her lips moved and she said her first words after meeting her,

"Live well!"

She was stunned for a moment, and before she could react, she heard the surprised voice of the guard, "Xuehu, it's Xuehu! Come quickly, Xuehu has been found!"

Immediately afterwards, she was taken away from the woman and quickly moved.

There was a surging crowd, some gritted their teeth and hated her for tormenting others, while others were glad that they had finally found her and would not have to suffer the emperor's harsh criticism.

Liuli looked through the crowd, but the woman turned her back and walked back in the direction of Leng Gong. In this crowd, she looked so lonely, lonely, and her back looked extremely lonely.

Before she had time to think about it, waves of pain swept over her, and she didn't know anything at all!

When I woke up again, I didn't know how long it had been, but the first thing I noticed was the soft and slippery golden quilt under my paws, with a faint scent of incense.

I’m finally back! This was the first thought that flashed through my mind. I gently rubbed my chin against the silk quilt, and couldn’t help but think of the sentence again, “Live well!”

Live well... why did she say that?
