Chapter 20 The Value of Pain

After passing the open and hidden sentry posts, they stopped at the end of a secret passage.

In a dark corner where the light cannot reach, a sand cave stands silently, as dark as a shadow.

The cave door is thick, with a round iron wheel plate inlaid in the center. Gordon knew that it was a coded door plate, so he could only turn it open according to the set method.

"Go and open the door. Turn left three times, turn right six times, and turn left nine times." Gordon followed Blood Crow's instructions and stepped forward to hold the wheel handle and pull it hard. "Creak", the door opened.

The sound of the disk turning was particularly harsh in the silent surroundings.

The door of the cave opened with a gust of cold wind, and a mixed smell of musty, foul smell and blood poured out.

Gordon saw dense iron bars erected inside, intertwined into cages. There were people in most of the iron cages, shackled and half-clothed. Some were huddled in corners, shivering; some were lying on the ground bleeding, unconscious.

; Or hanging on a torture rack, twitching limbs...

"These prisoners are the material for the anatomy class." Blood Crow walked into the cave, raised his head and took a deep breath of the dirty air, showing an intoxicated expression. "There are gangsters, gangsters, businessmen and dignitaries of the kingdom among them.

They are enemies of the Blood Hell Society."

Gordon hesitated and said: "They are still alive..."

The blood crow monster laughed: "Just kill it when you need it. To be honest, vivisection is more exciting." He took out a bunch of keys from his robe, picked out one and handed it to Gordon, saying in an unquestionable tone.

, "The ninth cage in the left row, open the lock and kill the people inside."

Gordon found the ninth cage, and the sound of heavy cage locks and iron bars hitting each other startled the people inside. The man struggled to turn around from a pool of sticky dirt with indistinguishable colors, tilting his head.

Look outside.

The weak light from the light moss on the ceiling shone on his face, and he was vaguely a handsome young man with silver hair and blue eyes, about seventeen years old. He was almost naked, covered with dirt, with wounds caused by whips, fires, and knife picks outwards.

It rolled around like a torn and twisted mouth, spitting out red and white pus.

"Crack!" The key in Gordon's hand slipped out of the keyhole and failed to align.

The young man uttered indistinct murmurs, his eyes fixed on the direction of unlocking, flashing with an imperceptible light.

Gordon aimed the key at the keyhole again, his fingers couldn't help but trembled, and he almost missed the key again.

He has seen each other!

Four years ago!

That was his cousin, a rising star of Cobra, who had attained the level of gray tin-level martial arts genius at the age of thirteen!

With a "click", the cage lock opened, and cold beads of sweat oozed from Gordon's palms.

With Blood Crow standing behind him, Gordon could not delay. He stepped into the iron prison, stared at his cousin, and tried to look as calm as possible.

In the gloomy light, the two sides looked at each other.

The last time we met was after the coming-of-age ceremony when Gordon was ten years old. It was late at night, and his father led his cousin to come secretly. Through the gauze curtain, his cousin knelt down on one knee and swore allegiance to him in the most solemn ceremony of the family.

.

Each generation of Tang in the Cobra family will have a loyal fang guard. His father planned ahead and appointed the most outstanding rookie in the family in advance to be Gordon's fang. A year later, the cousin was sent to implement the Nail Project, and he has never been seen since.

news.

"This little thief is a spy who infiltrated the Blood Hell Society. He disguised himself well. It wasn't until he leaked his martial arts skills that we found out. His skills were quite powerful, and Silver Fox personally took action to capture him alive." Blood Crow.

He sneered, "But you don't have to be afraid, his source of power has long been abolished, and killing him is easy."

"Okay, sir, I will do it neatly." Gordon's tongue seemed to be stiff when he heard his dull reply.

The cousin stared at Gordon blankly. He put his elbows on the ground and barely raised his upper body. A strange light flashed through his dull pupils.

Maybe the cousin thought that the family came to the rescue. Thinking this, Gordon gripped the key so hard that it hurt.

"Sir, since we are going to do an autopsy, the body cannot be damaged too much, right?" Gordon turned around and asked Blood Crow, avoiding his cousin's eyes. Although they had only met once and were separated by a veil, his cousin was famous

He has a photographic memory and sharp eyes.

Blood Crow said: "Twist his neck and use the throat locking technique you just learned."

"Bang!" Gordon threw away the slippery key and walked towards his cousin step by step.

The footsteps were dull and the heartbeat was thunderous.

This was his brother. His fang, bleeding the same blood as his, was now just a broken nail. A chill ran down Gordon's spine, and his eyes couldn't help but be a little confused. At that time, he envied his cousin, and even

A little childlike adoration…

The further they walked, the heavier Gordon's footsteps became, as if he was sinking little by little into the dark bottomless swamp.

Finally, Gordon walked up to his cousin. Those shocking wounds exuded the rotten stench, making it difficult for him to look directly. Gordon wanted to take action, but he couldn't. His hands were too heavy to lift. The heart is as stone, but the human heart is like a stone.

Not a stone.

The cousin stared straight at Gordon, suddenly trembled his withered lips, and made an "ahhhh" sound in his throat, as if he wanted to say something.

Did his cousin recognize him? He couldn't be allowed to speak! Gordon subconsciously stretched out his arm.

"Wait a minute!" Blood Crow suddenly spoke up and stopped Gordon. He walked up to his cousin and smiled solemnly, "This little thief seems to have something to say. He probably has figured it out and is willing to tell us something."

Gordon's heart suddenly tightened, and his whole body muscles tensed up.

"Blood..." The cousin groaned and held on to the wall, his knees shaking violently, and he stood up tremblingly.

"What's the blood?" Blood Crow frowned and asked, "As long as I tell you, I promise to let you live."

The cousin gasped for a moment, and an inexplicable smile appeared at the corner of his mouth: "Blood... Blood Hell Club... dwarf dog, go to hell!" He seemed to burst out the last power of his life, stretched out his arms, and roared

Then he pounced on the Blood Crow.

"Kill him!" Blood Crow's vicious voice sounded, like a mourning crow flying out of a grave.

"I, I, swear as the ancestor of the Cobra family. At this moment, I will become the heir of the family - the fang of the future Don Gordon."

Gordon stretched out his arms, bent his elbows, and strangled his cousin's throat.

"From now on, you will be protected by mountains of swords and seas of fire, life and death. Be loyal throughout your life and never betray."

Gordon gritted his teeth, worked hard, and broke his cousin's neck with a "click" sound.

"This oath has nothing to do with contract, but only faith. Time is immortal and comes from the will to last forever."

The corpse slid softly from the elbows and knelt down on one knee, just like the oath-taking ceremony that night.

That might be regarded as Gordon's only friend in his lonely childhood.

Gordon stood numbly, letting the bone-deep cold surround him. He saw his cousin's eyes bulging out of their sockets, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, and his smile frozen. It suddenly dawned on him that his cousin had recognized him.

"This little thief has a lot of background, and the forces behind him are more terrifying than you think. If he dies in your hands, he will bring you a lot of trouble. But it doesn't matter, as long as you remain loyal to the Blood Prison Society, the other party will not know who he is.

You kill him." Blood Crow said with deep meaning.

At this time, Gordon already understood. Blood Crow asked him to kill his cousin with his own hands in order to force him to sign a surrender certificate. Now he has truly passed the Blood Prison Society's test.

Blood Crow said: "Let's go, take the body out, we still have to dissect it."

Gordon held his cousin's arm and dragged the body out. The body was very light and his steps were light, leaving a long mottled blood mark behind it.

This was the first time in Gordon's life that he experienced the feeling of loss.

"How does it feel to kill someone?" Blood Crow asked rashly while walking in the bright cave passage.

Gordon slowly turned his head and looked at Blood Crow. The green light of the mushroom shone on Gordon's pale face, making his skin seem transparent.

There are many kinds of pain.

But there is only one existence value.

That is to temper one's will.

"It feels great." Gordon looked at Blood Crow and suddenly smiled. If this is loss, then I will not lose it again. I won't.

As quiet as a stone and with a will as strong as a stone, he naturally entered the first level of the "fire in the stone" assassination artistic conception.
