Chapter 26 Leaving (Part 1)

The turbid fine sand passes through the small transparent hourglass column and flows slowly until it covers the crimson scale line.

Gordon picked up his suitcase and took one last look around the small cave room. The light was dim, the sand walls were mottled, and a corner of the wooden bed showed signs of wear and tear.

He turned around, took a deep breath, and opened the door.

Fifteen young men, fully armed, walked out of each cave room like silent ghosts. They carried heavy luggage, their faces were hidden in their hoods, and their large cloaks were floating like dark clouds.

In addition to unique weapons, each person is equipped with a standard assassin six-piece set: hair silk, sleeve dagger, back crossbow, knee spike, boot sole blade and tooth poison. The tooth poison is a grain

The poison capsule is hidden in the teeth. If the assassin is caught accidentally and cannot withstand the torture, he can bite the poison capsule and commit suicide.

At the end of the cave, Hua Leopard and several big men from the Blood Hell Society were waiting quietly. Freckles pulled up his hood and glanced at Gordon vaguely, understanding each other.

"Let's go." Hua Leopard shouted. Everyone gathered into a long dragon and passed through the hall. The colorful and shimmering river of moss light surrounded them, and no one was surprised by it anymore; the front gradually became dark, and no one was afraid of it.

"Hongmao, why didn't you pick the mushrooms and eat them?" Freckles bumped Crocus with his shoulder and asked narrowly.

Saffron patted the backpack with her backhand. The two animal skin backpacks were like hills, higher than a person's head, and they were almost invisible. "I picked them all night yesterday, and all the mushroom varieties I had never tasted were packed inside.

Now." He straightened his back proudly, "How about it, you didn't expect me to have this skill?"

Freckles, Artest, and Tracey were all stunned. The corners of Gordon's mouth turned up slightly. Three years later, the red hair still hasn't changed at all.

Everything suddenly became dark. Gordon began to walk up the winding sand stairs. The stairs that seemed very long and difficult to walk at first seemed to have been climbed in the blink of an eye.

Outside the base, there was dust and silence, and the Gobi Desert exuded a cold atmosphere at night. An airship was parked among the ruins, and several members of the Blood Hell Society were loading water bags, bread and dried meat into the pod.

.

"Finally, I can see the sky!" Crocus raised her face, raised her arms to the night sky excitedly, and breathed in the wild air. Freckles, Artest, and Tracey looked at each other and smiled.

Everyone boarded the airship one after another, and as the propellers "buzzed" and turned, the sand and dust stirred up, and the airship trembled and continued to rise. Gordon stood beside the pod, watching the milky white starlight falling from above, and the ruins of the sand cave below gradually changed into...

As small as an ant.

Three days later, the airship entered the Kingdom of Sand. Whenever it approached a town where the assassination target was located, the airship would land at night and park in the wilderness. The young man performing the mission jumped out of the pod and sped away, while the airship continued to fly.

Go to the next destination.

Looking down from the airship, the desert covers most of the country of sand. Oasis towns large and small are like grids, divided by the desert. The capital, Black Oil City, is located in the east. Half of it is built on the oasis and the other half is built on the sand.

The edge of the land. The sandy land there is adjacent to the Gemstone Sea, and the winding coastline extends all the way east, with several free trade independent cities and small kingdoms scattered along the way. Opposite the blue Gemstone Sea is the Aquarius Domain.

Passing through the clouds, the airship began to slow down and slowly descended.

"The Crescent Oasis has arrived." Hua Bao's eyes turned to the five Gordons. The other teenagers had left, and they were the only group left in the pod.

Gordon picked up the suitcase and greeted Hua Leopard: "Thank you, sir, for sending me all the way."

The other four ignored Leopard at all and just stood up and packed their bags. Leopard was not angry either, but showed a rare good temper: "Boy, do your best and bring glory to the base."

The airship hovered above a sand dune. Gordon jumped off first and slid rapidly down the terrain.

It was midnight, the stars were shining brightly, and the nearby clusters of camel thorns were shiny green. Gordon kicked off his legs, jumped up, and looked ahead: the vegetation gradually became denser, and the Elaeagnus grove stretched into a lush green wall.

The sound of the river flowing is vague and non-existent.

Hua Bao stood at the front of the airship with a deep gaze, staring at the five figures who quickly ran away until they disappeared into the night. "Hide the airship and everyone changes their clothes. An hour later, we will enter the city from another way." He said.

Senran ordered.

At this time, thousands of miles away in the magnificent Garden Square, a grand farewell banquet was about to come to an end.

Among the rose bushes surrounding the square, troubadours in gold-rimmed robes sat on the ground, plucking strings and singing. The sounds of harps, violins, pipe organs, lyres, trumpets, flutes, and the buzzing of bees and the chirping of orioles and swallows interacted with each other.

Intertwined and beautifully wafting.

Waiters in snow-white uniforms shuttled back and forth carrying fine wines and juices. The surrounding tables were filled with delicacies from the mountains and seas: grilled dragon fin with lychee and red wine, baked foie gras with orange and abalone, pan-fried broiled breast with truffle cheese, and smoked white sea bream with plum and walnuts.

, tiger shrimp, avocado and mango salad, iced pear, snow, leopard tail and caviar soup... The banquet is about to end, but more than two thousand expensive dishes have not been touched. The dignitaries attending the banquet do not care about these.

The newly appointed Senator Sancho took out his handkerchief, wiped the sweat on his forehead, walked to the dining table, picked up a bowl of iced sour apricot soup and drank it in one gulp. He was old and had been sitting for more than five hours in a row.

The open-air banquet was really too much.

"Mr. Sancho, I wish you good health." A middle-aged gentleman in a tuxedo raised his glass and greeted Senator Sancho familiarly.

"I also wish you good health." Sancho looked at the middle-aged gentleman with a little doubt. The man was of medium build, ordinary in appearance, and had no characteristics. He couldn't remember where he had seen him before. "With all due respect, you are...

…?”

The middle-aged gentleman took a sip of champagne and said, "I think you should have received the gift from me this morning."

"Oh, my God." Sancho's eyes widened in surprise, "Dear Don, I really didn't recognize you. Why have you changed?"

"Relax, my friend." Gauss put down his wine glass calmly, "This is just an inferior martial art, not worth mentioning."

"You are too humble." Sancho's forehead began to sweat again. The garden square was heavily guarded, with at least a hundred silver-level masters and dozens of gold-level masters standing guard and patrolling. It was said that a diamond-level master was lurking in secret. He

It is impossible to imagine how Gauss got into the party.

"I just came to see the world." Gauss's calm voice revealed fiery ambition, "Golden Bihuang, I have longed for this land for a long time."

Sancho wiped his sweat and said, "I mentioned to you in my last letter that Inspector Tiqingsi..."

"This woman is very dangerous." Gauss looked at Tiqingsi in the crowd from a distance and shook his head slightly, "We need to stay friendly with the Hunter Guild, but not too close. I am willing to give gifts to this woman, but that does not mean that I should rashly talk to her.

cooperate."

"Is she more dangerous than you?" Sancho said jokingly.

"Maybe she's more dangerous than me. She seems to contain a very terrifying power that even I can't figure out."

"It's really incredible. It seems I should stay away from this charming lady."

"It's best if it's not too far or too close. By the way, some of the guests over there seem to have a good relationship with you. If you have a chance, can you introduce them to me?"

"Of course, I'm happy to."

"Thank you very much." Gauss smiled slightly, "She is leaving, it's time for you to see her off."
