It’s been a while since I posted a single chapter, so let’s talk about the current situation.
The decoration season has come again near Yunfei's house, and people are decorating several floors in turn. The sound of electric drills has basically never stopped from eight o'clock in the morning to twelve o'clock in the afternoon, and from two o'clock in the afternoon to six o'clock in the afternoon.
I am the kind of person who needs a quiet environment to code. When I go out to an Internet cafe or coffee shop, I can only code some junk stuff.
When someone was renovating, I couldn't hold back a word, so I could only wander around.
This objectively reduces the daily working hours. There are only two hours at noon during the day, which also includes meals and rest. Then there is one hour before dinner from 6pm in the evening, and then until 10pm, I have to take care of my son and teach him.
Homework and so on. It was almost 11 o'clock when I finally finished taking a shower and washing clothes. Only then could I really have some quiet time to code.
As a result, I was often forced to sleep in the underworld.
My son has just entered the first grade of elementary school. With this year's education reform, I personally feel that it is a bit too much. There are no cram schools anymore. Then the difficulty of the textbooks seems to have been greatly reduced, but it seems that it has not been reduced.
For example, take English. The most exaggerated example is to ask children to read sentences with more than a dozen words along with the mobile app. There are also continuous readings, and in some places there is no pronunciation of a single word.
This requires high-quality parents.
My wife is the type who puts her children on a pedestal. When she was in kindergarten, she discovered that her son had developed various bad habits. I didn’t want to mess up my son, so I had to follow him seriously.
I have been struggling like this for the past few months, and it has consumed a lot of my energy.
Anyway, the renovations have been going on recently, so don’t even think about keeping up with the coding speed. Then during the National Day, who doesn’t have a lot to do...
Alas, it’s hard to put it into words.
To sum it up in one sentence: Everything is sad when a person reaches middle age.
It was 150,000 words in August and less than 140,000 words in September. I am speechless.
