Chapter 4 Please don't think too much

Faced with such an eager big yellow cat, a glint flashed in Scabbers's eyes. He twisted in the hands of the teller witch, broke free, and ran towards the door. Ron shouted his name and chased after him.

, Harry saw this and followed him.

The two searched for a quarter of an hour, but found no sign of Scabbers. When Harry had given up, Ron found Scabbers under the trash can outside the Quidditch boutique.

After scaring Scabbers away, Crookshanks didn't have the consciousness of "causing trouble". He patted the counter with satisfaction, gave the cat a slap in the hand, and dozed off.

"Is his name Crookshanks?" Hermione walked to the counter and looked at the cat carefully.

Everything happened so fast just now, and she didn't see the cat clearly until now. Crookshanks looked like a shrunken lion. It had thick and fluffy ginger hair and four loops.

It has short legs, its face seems to be squashed, and its expression looks unhappy, as if someone owes it dried fish.

Tom recognized it. From the appearance, this cat looked like a Persian cat. However, its personality was too lively. It might be due to the cat's bloodline.

For Tom, the appearance of this cat does not quite meet his aesthetic taste - he likes cats with moderate hair length like tabby cats, which look smart and capable, and look a bit like tiger cubs (Note 1)

However, Hermione liked furry things very much. She looked at the Persian cat with a doting look on her face, and she was a little eager to reach out and touch it, but she was not very willing.

"It, um..." Hermione hesitated.

The teller saw through Hermione's mind, "This cat was a stray cat at first. It seems that the little girl from before fed him some cakes, and it stayed here and refused to leave. I can't even remember how many years it was. Anyway,

It has been here for a long time and has not found anyone willing to adopt it."

The teller felt a little emotional that this cat was older than her seniority.

"That's right..." Hermione nodded. When she heard Crookshanks' experience, she couldn't help but glance at Tom, and suddenly Tom was furious.

"Don't bring it in!" Tom was a little dissatisfied. Am I the guy who can be caught with a little cake and get full favorability? If this continues, if our experience is adapted into a game in the future, I won't

Become the kind of character that you can get automatically after signing in for seven days? Or the first-time top-up guy who gets a free bonus for your first top-up of six yuan?

The worst thing is that the five-star Hermione UP pool is matched with the four-star Tom Yoder... Even if it is known as the [six-star God of War] in terms of strength, it is still very embarrassing!

Tom thought for a moment, and if he was adapted into a game character, he would indeed be a good assistant: able to farm, resurrect, remove negative status, have hard control, and have certain output...

Except that it cannot add attack power, it is basically a hexagon! It basically implements the spirit that the best support is to kill all the enemies with leader C.

"Okay, okay, be good -" Hermione rubbed Tom's head and messed up his hair, "You are not, you are different from Cat~"

Then she looked at the clerk and said, "Can I try to hug him?"

The clerk nodded: "Of course, but be careful, it has a bad temper."

But when Hermione reached out and gently picked up Crookshanks, Crookshanks didn't mean any rejection and even purred comfortably. Cats will only purr when they are the most comfortable and safest. It can be seen that

It turns out that Hermione and Crookshanks really hit it off.

In the end, the clerk did not take any money from Hermione and directly gave Crookshanks to her free of charge.

Tom and Hermione left the Magic Zoo and returned to the crowded street. Crookshanks fell asleep deeply in Hermione's arms.

When they saw Harry and Ron, Ron's eyes bulged: "You bought this monster?!"

"I didn't buy it, and its fur is very nice, isn't it?" Hermione said with a smile, and she buried her face in Crookshanks' belly and took a sip.

Ron felt that his temples were about to explode. He dragged Harry away from Hermione quickly to prevent the crazy cat from attacking his Scabbers again - it had been staring at him since it had just woken up in Hermione's arms.

Seeing this made him feel angry.

The four of them parted ways, and Tom and Hermione wandered around Diagon Alley for a while.

When passing by a shop selling magic trinkets, Tom stopped and something on the counter caught his attention.

Hermione:?

Tom ran into the shop quickly, and after a while he ran out like a gust of wind. Hermione noticed that he seemed to have stuffed a small box into his robe.

Hermione:??

"Hey!" Tom had no intention of explaining and walked directly towards the Leaky Cauldron.

When he returned to the bar, Tom saw a lot of red hair: the Weasley family were chatting with Harry, and their youngest daughter Ginny was standing by with a flushed face, quietly listening to her brothers chatting.

Seeing Tom and Hermione coming, they also said hello in a friendly way.

"Hello, Yodel Granger." Percy held out his hand solemnly, as if it were a diplomatic meeting. Fred and George stood behind him, winking at Tom and making faces.

"Congratulations, you became the student council president (Note 2)"

"Yeah." But Percy's seriousness was quickly broken by Fred and George, who started laughing and joking together.

In the evening, everyone put two long tables together and had a sumptuous dinner. After the meal, everyone went about their business.

At night, while Tom was baking by the fireplace, he saw Harry coming out with a pile of scrap newspapers. What caught Tom's attention was that the photos on the scrap newspapers in Harry's hands were all still.

It's not easy to see a Muggle newspaper in Diagon Alley.

So Tom stopped Harry and asked him to burn the newspapers later. Harry told him that this was a disguise for his magic book. Aunt Petunia occasionally walked into his room, and just to be on the safe side, he

Not only did he hide the magic book, but he also wrapped some old newspapers on it.

"That's right," Tom glanced at Harry sympathetically. With the same background, he was much happier than Harry. But his eyes stopped when he glanced at the newspaper.

He saw the title of the old newspaper that read: [The Original Jade Record Appears? The Beauty Adventurer’s Great Discovery!]

He pulled out the newspaper, folded it neatly and put it in his pocket.

"Tom, you happen to be here. I have something to ask you. Have you received the Hogsmeade application form? Who did you ask to sign it?" Harry was not very concerned about Tom's actions. He had more questions.

Important things.

"Mr. Granger."

Harry:……

Damn it! Is there such a way? Is it too late to find a girlfriend now? Harry thought sadly.

"If there is nothing else, I will go back first." Tom stood up, "The journey starting from platform 9? is about to begin again."
