Yu Wanyue was very surprised when she saw it, and asked: "Was such a big cave left by the ancient immortals?"
Lu Laoquan smiled and said: "It was dug by the first ancestor of my family."
"Ah? What kind of sharp weapon can dig such a big cave?"
"You need a suitable magical weapon. Your blue frost sword has fifty runes superimposed on it. It can also dig rocks, just like cutting tofu."
"Putting gems here can absorb spiritual energy?"
"Well, there is the Daishan spiritual vein here, which is emitting spiritual energy all the time."
"If I stay here to practice, will it be easier to advance than outside?"
“Without the sun here and being in seclusion for a long time, it’s easy to feel depressed.”
“The scenery of Taohua Valley outside is beautiful.”
"Yes, my ancestors lived here for many years."
They walked out of the cave and stayed in Peach Blossom Valley, admiring the peach blossoms in full bloom, the colorful colors, the gentle breeze, the warm sunshine, and their mood was particularly refreshing.
Yu Wanyue sighed: "It would be great if I could stay here forever. I don't even want to leave!"
Lu Laoquan said: "It's not a bad idea to stay a few more days. Anyway, we can take online classes."
"Then let's stay here until the peach blossoms wither and then leave?"
"Okay."

The afternoon of May 10, 2752.
Songshan Shaolin Temple.
The great eminent monk Master Xuanku, wearing a bright red silk cassock, was explaining Zen in the auditorium of the Sutra Pavilion. There were more than 500 true disciples and more than 20 golden elixir-level monks sitting below.
p>
Master Xuanku has a majestic appearance, profound Buddhist teachings, precise words, and is easy to understand. Every time he lectures, the seats are packed and he is deeply loved by many monks in Shaolin Temple.
】
Although he did not hold the Nascent Soul Ceremony, the news of advancing to the Nascent Soul had quietly spread within the sect, thus attracting the respect of more monks.
As a monk, the realm of skill is the first priority. As a Buddhist monk, if you can not only preach sutras but also have profound skills, you are a worthy Zen master!
Moreover, Master Xuanku is approachable and open-minded, and is easier to talk to than the abbot, Monk Hongming.
Monk Hongming had insufficient Buddhist cultivation and relied on swallowing relics to achieve breakthrough. He rarely came out to preach.
This time, Master Xuanku gave a lecture on "Various Zen States of Bodhidharma Facing the Wall".
Shaolin Temple was first built in AD 495. Emperor Xiaowen Yuanhong built the temple at the northern foot of Shaoshi Mountain to accommodate Indian monk Batuo. Because it is located in the dense forest of Shaoshi Mountain, it was named "Shaolin Temple".
In 527 AD, Bodhidharma, the 28th generation Buddhist of Sakyamuni, took three years to arrive at Shaolin Temple and spread Zen Buddhism for the first time, which had a great influence. Therefore, Songshan Shaolin Temple is revered as the "ancestral court of Zen".
Zen is one of the sects of Chinese Buddhism. It started with Bodhidharma and flourished under the Sixth Patriarch Huineng. It became the mainstream of Chinese Buddhism after the middle and late Tang Dynasty and is also one of the most important symbols of Chinese Buddhism. Most of the sects of Chinese Buddhism come from
In India, only Tiantai Sect, Huayan Sect and Zen Sect are three local Buddhist sects independently developed by China, among which Zen Sect has the most unique character.
Zen Buddhism does not rely on words, but points directly to the source of the heart.
Although the name of Shaolin Temple is very famous, in fact, the inheritance of Zen method has flaws.
In addition to Bodhidharma, Shaolin Temple only had a line of Zen master Fuyu in the Yuan Dynasty, but it lasted only a short time and was not very famous in the entire history of Zen. It is far inferior to Tiantong Temple, Berlin Zen Temple and other Zen temples.
There is no Shaolin Temple in Da Shenxue Zen Forest.
During the Tang and Song Dynasties, when Zen Buddhism was at its peak, the Shaolin Temple did not record anyone who had achieved enlightenment through Zen Buddhism. In the Yuan Dynasty, when Zen Buddhism began to decline, there was the Shaolin branch of the Caodong Sect, but it only flourished for a short time and disappeared after the Ming Dynasty.
Later, the custom of Shaolin Temple became even weirder. They often boasted about the ancestral home of Zen sect to add aura to themselves.
Master Xuanku gave a lecture on "Dharma Faces the Wall" in the Sutra Library, which marked him as the contemporary "Grand Master of the Zen Forest"!
This year, Xuanku was not yet 300 years old. For Yuanying monks, he was considered a young and promising Zen master!
The wife he secretly married, Guan Qie, is still running a shop at the foot of the mountain.
Guan Qi cultivated the golden elixir in front of Jiazi. As the owner of the shop, she seldom showed up on weekdays. The shop employed four or five young people, all of whom were transferred from her natal family.
The Guan family is based in the remote northwest region. There were originally two to three hundred people in the clan, but the population has multiplied rapidly in recent years.
As the ancestor of Jindan, Guan Qi called his family, selected two young men and two girls, and came to the foot of Shaolin Temple in Songshan Mountain. While taking care of the shop business, he also learned Kung Fu from her.
Sometimes, her own children and grandchildren would come to visit.
In addition to the shop, Guan Jie also bought a house not far away, with a quiet environment, a private courtyard, and surrounded by woods. In this way, Master Xuanku could use the invisibility talisman and the disguise talisman to quietly come and reunite with her. That day, after Master Xuanku finished explaining "Dharma Faces the Wall", he suddenly heard a middle-aged monk approach and greet him: "Elder, abbot, please come over."
So, Master Xuanku walked out of the Sutra Collection Pavilion and came to the abbot's room.
After entering, I saw the fat monk Hongming sitting cross-legged on the futon.
Monk Hongming looked at him and said, "Sit down and talk."
Master Xuanku sat down on the futon a few feet away.
The middle-aged monk exited and closed the door of the abbot's room.
Monk Hong Ming said: "I have been busy in retreat and haven't seen you for a long time. I want to have a good chat with you while I am free today."
There are several generations between the two, and Hong Ming is 400 years older than Xuan Ku.
"I heard that your explanation of Zen method is unique and very popular among the monks?"
"With the blessing of the ancestor, the disciple has gained some understanding and is willing to tell it with all his heart to teach the younger disciples."
"I heard that there are many old monks among the people who went to listen to the lecture?"
"That's the love of all the masters."
Monk Hong Ming had been the abbot for more than five hundred years. He didn't want to abdicate at this time, but he already felt threatened and said with a smile: "Xuan Ku, do you know that the Shaolin Temple today is facing a lot of internal and external troubles?" Xuan Ku said: "Please forgive me, Patriarch."
Hong Ming said: "Our sect ranks first among the eight sects, with one million outer sect disciples, 50,000 inner sect disciples, 3,000 elite disciples, and 500 true disciples. Looking at the vastness of the talents, there are actually many hidden dangers.
.
The biggest crisis is that the Shaolin Temple covers a small area. There are 36 peaks in Shaoshi Mountain, which sounds like a lot of peaks. However, the living space is limited and cannot accommodate many disciples.
I want to take down Mount Taishi and use it as the territory of Shaolin Temple!
You also know that Songshan Mountain includes Shaoshi Mountain and Taishi Mountain.
Taishi Mountain is the main peak of Songshan Mountain. Dayu's wife Tushan was born here. There is Qimu Temple built at the foot of the mountain, so it is called "Taishi" (Room: Wife.).
The Zhongyue Temple at the foot of Taishi Mountain is occupied by Taoism.
Songyang Academy at the southern foot of Mount Taishi was occupied by Confucians and was one of the four major academies in ancient times.
For this reason, I want to expand the Shaolin Temple, but I face great resistance!
I racked my brains, thought of many ways, and tried for hundreds of years, but still couldn't accomplish this!
Xuanku, I want to leave this matter to you! If you can accomplish this, you will definitely be the next generation abbot to preside over it!"
