Chapter 50

In Mu Qian's opinion, Lin Su is a person with a pure heart and few desires.

During the time the two of them were together, Lin Su never crossed a step, even if there were some things that were no longer considered a transcendence between the two.

Firstly, he was often involved in official matters, and secondly, she often had headaches and stomachaches. Lin Su had always only given her consideration and tolerance.

At this moment, the two of them were sitting side by side on the sofa watching a movie. Lin Su just held her hand and put it on his knee without any excessive movements.

Mu Qian leaned against him and watched the movie carefully. After half an hour of the movie, she finally looked up at Lin Su and said, "Don't you like this movie?"

What she chose was a Spanish romantic literary film. The plot was bland throughout. The only thing that impressed people was the film's colorful language, which was gorgeous and bright, so thick that it almost overflowed the screen.

"I like it." Lin Su said in a calm voice.

Mu Qian stared at his face for a while and said, "You didn't react at all. I thought you were asleep!"

Lin Su looked down at her and smiled, "That's what happens when I'm focused."

"Then I hope you can be so attentive to me in the future." Mu Qian raised her eyebrows and smiled, the diamond pendant on her ear swaying, revealing a bright brilliance.

Lin Su saw this and suddenly lowered his head and kissed her ear.

Mu Qian couldn't help but laugh out loud, "What about the concentration you promised?"

Lin Su never looked back at the TV screen, but looked at Mu Qian, "I was originally focused, but you diverted my attention."

Mu Qian stretched out her hand and hooked his neck, and said slowly: "This movie has a high rating in my film library. It is my honor to be able to divert your attention away from it."

She smiled softly, delicate and charming, her eyes were blurred and twinkling, revealing her charming charm in the dim light.

Lin Su brushed a strand of hair on her shoulder and lowered her head.

Seeing his eyes getting closer and closer, Mu Qian finally closed her eyes.

However, the moment she closed her eyes, she suddenly remembered the harsh ringtone of her cell phone in the room.

Mu Qian suddenly opened her eyes, grabbed her phone and took a look at it angrily.

It was an unfamiliar number, so Mu Qian hung up without hesitation and threw the phone aside.

"Don't answer?" Lin Su asked.

"No answer." Mu Qian replied angrily.

Lin Su smiled and stroked her hair, and Mu Qian hugged his arm again.

However, the phone rang again at an inappropriate time. Mu Qian picked it up and saw that it was still the same number.

She was determined not to answer, but just as she hung up, her phone rang again.

Mu Qian glanced at Lin Su and reluctantly answered the phone, "Who is this?"

"Hello, Miss Mu, I am Mr. Huo's secretary Ding Yang. I met you last time downstairs at your house." A male voice came from the other end of the phone.

Hearing this voice, Mu Qian couldn't help but brush her hair, "What's the matter?"

"Mr. Huo wants to meet you..."

"I'm not free." Mu Qian interrupted him, "Tell him that I will invite him to dinner another day."

"Mr. Huo fainted two hours ago. It would be best for Miss Mu to come over."

Mu Qian suddenly stood up from the sofa, "What did you say? Grandpa fainted?"

She walked to the side and wanted to ask Ding Yang in detail what his situation was, but Ding Yang seemed to just take the time to call her in a hurry, left an address and hung up the phone in a hurry.

Mu Qian held the phone and walked back to the sofa. Lin Su had already stood up. Without asking any questions, he just said, "Shall I take you there?"

Mu Qian looked at him for a moment, then suddenly said: "No, you go with me."
