Su Zimu happily imagined and planned, looking forward to a bright future, and the time passed happily. After half a day, a monk finally broke through the ban, and his whole body suddenly erupted with a... well, barely okay aura, and he stood up with a loud roar.
Get up.
This man was also very loyal. He walked up to Su Zimu, bowed deeply and said, "Thank you, fellow Taoist, for protecting the Dharma!"
Su Zimu grinned and forced a smile: "Fellow Taoist, you don't have to be polite."
The two of them were strangers, and after a few words of greeting they had nothing to say. The man consciously stayed in the valley and protected the others with Su.
After all, if we share the same adversity, there is still empathy even if there is no friendship!
People broke through the ban one after another, some took the initiative to stay, and some pleaded guilty and left.
We were just casual acquaintances, so of course no one cared whether he stayed or left, and at most they just made a few comments in their hearts.
A whole day later, Wan Xiong finally recovered his cultivation and came to Su Zimu with a smile.
Unexpectedly, Su Zimu couldn't wait to get up, bowed to the others and apologized, and pulled Wan Xiong out of the valley in a hurry.
His speed and decisive attitude made Wan Xiong confused. When he was trying to block the ban, Su Zimu had a conflict with others and couldn't help but give him a few words of advice.
Su Zimu rolled his eyes: "Brother Wan, have you ever hunted?"
Wan Xiong was stunned: "What did you say?"
"I said, I'm hungry, very, very, very hungry!" Su Zimu covered his empty belly and rubbed it fiercely.
Only then did Wan Xiong vaguely remember what kind of food intake it meant to exercise.
He has been running around all year round and knows a little bit about everything. After leaving the valley, he took Su Zimu around for a few times and quickly found a water source and waited there. After a while, he got two wild sheep.
Wan Xiong was responsible for washing and skinning, and Su Zimu was responsible for collecting firewood. The two divided the work and cooperated. After a while, the cleaned wild sheep were put on the fire and slowly turned and roasted.
Su Zimu took the opportunity to ask: "Brother Wan, I have a heartfelt request..."
Wan Xiong interrupted without hesitation: "Brother Su, what are you talking about? You and I have a fortune-telling relationship, so if you have anything to say, just say it!"
Su Zimu showed a bit of embarrassment and turned the wild sheep over: "I made a breakthrough by luck, but I know little about cultivation. I wonder if Brother Wan can help me clear up my doubts?"
Wan Xiong couldn't laugh or cry for a while: "What's so difficult about this? What does Brother Su want to know?"
Su Zimu said: "Of course it's all...the more detailed, the better."
Wan Xiong was thoughtful, but he didn't have enough questions to get to the bottom of it.
We are all adults, and it is the most basic courtesy to keep a proper distance. No matter how close the relationship is, it is best not to ask questions that should not be asked.
He thought for a moment and said, "I don't know much about physical exercise, so there really isn't much to say."
Su Zimu quickly said: "When it comes to refining qi, just refining qi will do!"
Wan Xiong agreed, thought for a while and said: "Introducing qi into the body is the basis of spiritual practice. What we usually talk about is whether you have talent or not, and what you are talking about is the difficulty of introducing qi into the body..." He started from the most basic common sense and rambled on.
He kept talking.
Su Zimu listened carefully while roasting the sheep, and finally gained a relatively systematic understanding of the practice system in this world.
According to his understanding, the so-called Qi training period is the process of continuously absorbing and compressing spiritual energy. From the perspective of the previous life, the higher the density or quality of the spiritual energy, the higher the level of Qi training.
There is nothing difficult to understand about this, but Qi training is not ten levels, but varies from person to person.
Su Zimu was surprised. He didn't understand at all. How could there be any difference between these things? Could it be that the techniques were different and the level of Qi training was also different?
After listening to Wan Xiong's explanation, I realized that this was not the case at all.
To put it simply, the true essence during the Qi training period can be understood as a gaseous state, while foundation building is to continuously compress the gas and eventually turn it into a liquid state.
Theoretically speaking, even if it is only one level of Qi training, as long as the true essence can be liquefied and maintained stably, it can be regarded as a successful foundation building.
But such long-term congenital defects are too big, and there is absolutely no chance of forming a pill.
Therefore, from Qi training to foundation building, one must take one step at a time, layer by layer, and continue to compress until the foundation is successfully established.
There are not only qualitative issues here, but also quantitative issues, both of which are indispensable.
In order to lay a solid foundation, some people stubbornly refused to build the foundation, and finally practiced Qi for fifteen or six levels. This is nothing new.
Hearing this, Su Zimu was a little confused: "If you have been refusing to build the foundation, doesn't it mean that you have to practice Qi for dozens of times or even reach the upper level?"
Wan Xiong laughed: "That's not the case. After accumulating to a certain level, foundation building will happen naturally. However, the vast majority of people are limited by their qualifications and will not reach such a high level throughout their lives, so they must do it at the appropriate time.
, take the initiative to build the foundation.”
"You mean, the tenth level of Qi training?" Su Zimu asked.
Wan Xiong nodded: "Most of them are at the tenth level. Only a very small number of people with particularly good talents have the opportunity to wait until the twelfth level... Because the accumulation is not particularly deep, they must use external aids to have a chance to break through in one fell swoop."
Su Zimu couldn't figure it out again: "In that case, why don't you accumulate a few more levels?"
Wan Xiong added a piece of firewood and said in despair: "If the talent is strong enough, the deeper the accumulation, the better. But every time you advance to a level, the difficulty will increase a lot. The more you accumulate, the harder it will be. If you are in the Qi training period,
Wasting too much time, not having enough time to practice after building the foundation, and finally not having time to form the elixir, wouldn’t it be putting the cart before the horse and losing the big for the small?”
Hearing this, Su Zimu suddenly realized.
To sum up briefly, cultivation is a comprehensive thing, which requires both quantity and quality. Both are indispensable, and too much time cannot be wasted. Otherwise, even if you barely build the foundation, it will be hopeless.
So, there is a question of how to choose.
Having poor talent does not mean that you are absolutely unable to practice, it means that you have no time to build a foundation!
Strictly speaking, although Qi cultivating monks also have extraordinary means, they are still mortals in essence. Only by being promoted to the foundation and building a foundation can they be transcendent and transcendent.
If you don't have enough talent but are persistent in practicing, you may end up wasting time and energy and ultimately achieve nothing.
Therefore, monks must rely on elixirs, magic arrays, heavenly materials, earthly treasures and other means to improve their cultivation and find ways to race against time.
The monks on the eighth and ninth levels of Qi training are stuck in the bottleneck and cannot break through. It is not impossible that there are some who risk building the foundation. However, if the foundation building fails, the cultivation level will definitely decline significantly. On the eleventh and second levels, there is still a chance to try. On the tenth level
It's almost impossible to do it again.
Why is the demon sect so hated by people, but yet it can never be eradicated?
The most important reason is that the magic method uses unscrupulous means. Although it hinders Tianhe, it can advance faster in the early stage.
If it weren't for the deeper the cultivation of demonic skills, the greater the side effects, I'm afraid there would be no righteous monks in the world, and they would all devote themselves to the demonic path.
