One thousand two hundred and thirty tune, teach Confucianism (1)
Today, farmers in the Han Dynasty are not living a very good life.
But it's definitely not bad.
Especially farmers in Guanzhong, basically more than 70% of farmers and people at the bottom can maintain food and clothing.
The number of middle class people is increasing year by year.
And benefited from the dividends of foreign wars.
A considerable number of peasant families throughout Guanzhong and the north began to break through class restrictions and relied on military merit to become aristocratic families with military merit.
Although the lives of farmers in Guandong are not as good as those in the north, there is no food protection policy.
However, due to the official management of Yantie, the use of a large number of new agricultural tools and the promotion of a large number of new technologies have also benefited them a lot.
Compared with before, life should be relatively comfortable and affluent, and I can support more children.
Starting from the second year of Yuande, the Han Dynasty ushered in a wave of baby boom.
In the past five years, according to statistics from the Prime Minister's Office and the Da Nong Yamen, the world's population has increased by nearly 30%.
The total increase is expected to exceed 10 million now! (In Chinese history, most dynasties only counted adult men, but the Qin and Han Dynasties were different. The Qin and Han Dynasties not only counted adult men, but also counted children over four years old, and among the adult population
, all men and women are counted, because the Qin and Han Dynasties recognized and recognized that women can also become heads of households and enjoy the right to inherit property, and even aristocratic women have the right to divorce)
In at most fifteen years, these newly born people will carry the backbone of this country and nation.
Liu Che, who, like Taizu of the Celestial Dynasty, believed that more people were strength, always believed that people should have more children.
One is a crime against the nation, two are too few, three keep working hard, four are passing, and five are good...
This is also the long-standing understanding of the Han Dynasty regime that one man and five people can rule hundreds of fields. This is the ideal society.
The growth of population also means that the new territories including Hetao, Andong and Mitsukoshi will never have to worry about having no population to fill, develop and construct in the future.
A hundred years later, these areas may become the indivisible land of China since ancient times, just like today's Hanjia counties!
Therefore, although the problem of farmers is not that good now, it is not bad either.
By slowly adjusting and encouraging people to use various new technologies and tools, they can improve their lives, improve their quality of life and social status.
Ensure that the heroes at the grassroots level and at the bottom will be able to move to a higher level through their own struggles.
As for the military issue, there is no need to worry too much now.
The morale and combat effectiveness of the Han army have reached a peak almost since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Liu Che only needs to worry about the generals in the army being too proud and arrogant to prevent the phenomenon of arrogance leading to defeat.
This point can be improved through the training and education of Wuyuan to improve the quality of military officers and strengthen their loyalty.
But this Confucian scholar has always been a problem for the rulers of the Han Dynasty.
Ever since Liu Bang, Confucian scholars have never given Liu a worry.
At that time, the Lu Confucians raised their troops to resist the rule of the Han Emperor and wanted to pay tribute to Xiang Yu, which disgusted Liu Bang and the founding heroes of the Han Dynasty.
Later, during the period of Empress Lu, the Confucian scholars were jumping up and down again, dancing happily.
Empress Lu was impatient and slapped them down, killing many of them.
However, this only temporarily frightened the Confucian scholars.
As soon as Empress Lu died, these guys came back with a vengeance.
Among the alliance of princes and ministers against Lu, there were many Confucian scholars.
In the case of Xinhengping during the reign of Emperor Taizong, do you think it was just a case of Xinhengping?
Is there no one behind New Hengping?
is it possible?
Do you think that an alchemist's magic stick can do such a thing as transforming the Yellow Dragon into a Yuan?
You know, Xin Hengping, in those days, was playing with the idea that the Han Dynasty was a Tude.
There were even Confucian scholars who came out to stand up in person.
For example, the Lu Ru sect...
Why did Huanglong come out of Chengji...
It looks exactly like the tricks played by Confucian scholars, and it is also in the same vein as Dong Zhongshu’s tricks played by Dong Zhongshu in later history.
The detailed process of this incident was clearly recorded in the royal archives by historians.
Back then, Liu Che personally sent an envoy to Peiping to ask Zhang Cang face to face about the whole story.
So Liu Che knew that Xin Hengping was, in essence, the scapegoat brought to the forefront by Lu Ru and certain factions of Confucianism.
They want to counterattack under the guise of religion and magic!
Fortunately, they were looking for a second-rate guy like Xin Hengping, otherwise, they would have really taken care of him!
You know, the ultimate goal of Huanglong's change to the Yuan Dynasty is to change the attribute of the Han Dynasty from water virtue to earth virtue!
This goal alone was enough to make the Han Dynasty change its skin.
Changing the nature of a dynasty is just like changing the color of political power in later generations.
All relevant legal policies and national policies will change as the dynasty's attributes change.
And perhaps it was also because he suffered a loss in the New Hengping matter.
Therefore, later Dong Zhongshu simply jumped out on his own, played with the telepathy between heaven and man, engaged in prophecy politics, and used the Spring and Autumn Period to break the prison.
This is undoubtedly a major historical setback.
It almost wiped out all the efforts and blood and sweat of the Legalists, Mohists, and the Huang-Lao School since the Warring States Period.
Mixing Chinese politics from the rule of man and the rule of law, it kicked back the rule of shamans and gods in the Zongzhou and Yin and Shang periods.
It's just that the ghosts and gods were turned into Confucian sages and the Book of Spring and Autumn.
This is ridiculous!
Therefore, as soon as Liu Che came to power, he clearly expressed and implied his dissatisfaction with Confucianism.
Over the years, under the pressure of imperial power, Confucianism has indeed been improving and changing.
but……
There are not enough improvements! The changes are not fast enough!
There are not enough things within Confucianism that Liu Che can appreciate and like!
The most important thing is that the Confucian problem of liking to talk eloquently but not seeking truth from facts still exists and is deeply rooted.
Liu Che has clearly seen the changes in Confucianism over the years.
They just changed the surface and adjusted it in some directions.
Is this useful?
Confucianism is still the same Confucianism.
Yanzi's evaluation is still applicable today to Confucian scholars and Confucian scholars who are funny and out of line; arrogant and submissive, they should not be inferior; they should worship mourners and mourn, go bankrupt and give them rich burials, they should not be secular; lobbying and borrowing money, they should not serve the country.
Of course, Confucian scholars are not without merit and are full of sins.
In that case, Liu Che had already ordered the army to use violence to obliterate it, and to completely destroy it through administration and law. Now, as long as Liu Che is willing, the Confucian school, like the Yang Zhu school, can be wiped out from the world in a matter of minutes!
The fact is that Confucian scholars are still useful.
And it has a huge effect.
At the very least, in the field of education, Confucianism is unique among all schools of thought and stands proudly above the rest.
More than 70% of the intellectuals in China today were cultivated and excavated by Confucianism.
Moreover, you may not believe it when told.
Confucianism is also a huge incubator.
In history, the birth of Mohism, Legalism and Zajia are all directly related to Confucianism!
Mr. Zixia educated the first group of Legalists in China.
Xunzi educated Han Feizi, the last master of Legalism in China!
Mr. Mo Zhai was originally educated by a Confucian scholar...
Lu Buwei of the Za family was deeply influenced by Mencius' thoughts.
In the future, more different schools of thought may emerge from Confucianism.
Even today, the Simeng School and the Civilian School have some faint shadows of the Republican and Democratic parties of the later American Empire.
The Gongyang School was the hotbed of Zhuxia nationalism.
In addition, most Confucian scholars are lawful forces.
Although they have countless shortcomings and many shortcomings, they are not rebellious and are loyal and loyal.
At this point, Liu Che had no choice but no reason to deal with them.
That’s why Liu Che believed that Confucianism was among China’s biggest problems.
If Confucian scholars can be educated well, it will be enough to solve many problems.
But how easy is it to educate Confucian students well?
In history, there are countless heroes and overlords who have made similar efforts.
But the results are the same.
As soon as these heroes and overlords died, without suppressors and spurrs, Confucian scholars immediately sprouted up and intensified!
For example, as soon as Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Di died, the Confucian scholars immediately counterattacked and destroyed almost all the policies of Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Di during the Chenghua period.
Therefore, Liu Che simply never considered the option of letting Confucian scholars govern.
Keep him in the wild!
There are many benefits like this.
First of all, if Confucian scholars are in the opposition, then they will not be corrupted.
Secondly, if Confucian scholars are in the opposition, they will lose the opportunity to directly influence and interfere with national policies and people's livelihood.
The most you can do is make a buzzing noise outside!
Furthermore, the Confucian scholars in the opposition will definitely devote more energy to the field of education.
You see, Gongyang, Guliang, Simeng and Chongmin are doing very well now!
As they have more and more disciples, there are also more and more intellectuals in China.
And these younger generations who were educated by Confucian scholars began to be poached and influenced by the Legalists, the Huang-Lao School and the Mohists after joining the officialdom.
Nowadays, in the officialdom of the Han family, pure Confucian scholars and Confucian scholars who firmly believe in their own school teachers almost no longer exist.
This is also normal!
In later generations, when Confucianism was dominant, if those Jinshi and Juren who came out of the imperial examination wanted to do things, they would definitely not be able to do things according to Neo-Confucianism.
Definitely requires worldly methods.
As for today, hey, if Confucian scholars want to do something, they first face the order and law established by the Huang-Lao School, then they have to face the Han Dynasty bureaucracy shaped by Legalism, and finally, they can think of the education of their teachers.
Under such circumstances, these young people were naturally either dragged away by the Huang-Lao sect or converted to Legalism.
A large number of outstanding talents educated by Confucianism have become wedding dresses for others.
Of course, Confucianism will not admit this.
Those who have been poached will certainly not admit this.
Except for those who really see clearly the shortcomings of Confucianism, the rest of the people still respect Confucianism on the surface.
All kinds of external Confucianism and internal Dharma, Confucianism with old skin and old bones, emerge in endlessly.
But, just like that, it’s not enough!
Liu Che is confident that if he is alive, he can suppress the Confucians and make them honest and not dare to dream.
But what happens after he dies?
In the face of Confucian scholars flooding the world, can those successors whose Confucian ideas fill both the government and the public can hold their own?
History has proven countless times that ideas can change the world!
Later generations of Omi, and even the Celestial Empire, were filled with the thoughts of the Holy Mother of the White Zuo. They were filled with all kinds of absurdities, thoughts that deviated from and harmed the dominant nation. Any normal person would instinctively hate it.
However, they just prevail, coerce and represent the people, seize power, and put themselves above the people, under the euphemistic name: political correctness.
But in fact, it is to act as an aid to the tiger and confuse right and wrong.
Even those in power are so frightened by them that they remain silent.
What claims to be freedom is to shut up the people.
Propaganda is a poisonous dish.
Different opinions cannot be tolerated at all.
It looks similar, right?
Look at Confucianism in Chinese history!
That's how they are!
Confucian scholars who say they will not compete with the people for their own benefit are precisely doing things that harm the interests of the people.
People who shout about morality and justice are actually male thieves and female prostitutes.
Any different opinions are besieged and buried.
Anyone who attempts to change the world and the rules of the game is denounced as a traitor.
I am a moral gentleman, you are not!
Shut up! We are discussing Confucius and Mencius’ way of benevolence and forgiveness!
Is this normal? Is this not normal? Why doesn’t anyone point it out and change it? Because the people who pointed it out and changed it are all dead!
Those left behind are either those who are keen on doing this and live in a happy life, or those who just follow the crowd.
Liu Che knows that he may not be able to change everyone.
But he can at least make things better!
At least it can make the world more positive, not more negative.
So, he stood up, held the Emperor's Sword, walked down the steps, came to the platform of the auditorium, looked down at the audience, and swept his eyes over the Confucian giants one by one.
Each of these giants is a famous person who is full of poems and books, well-read classics, well-read, and accustomed to the wind, rain and changes in the world.
For example, Hu Wusheng, in addition to the "Book of Songs", "Shangshu", "The Analects" and his major "Spring and Autumn Gongyang Zhuan", he also studied "Lu Shi Chunqiu", "Guanzi", "Han Feizi" and "Shang Junshu"
.
Even the Legalist giant Zhang Hui once praised his attainments in Legalist thought, saying that if he had not been a Confucian scholar, he would have become a pillar of Legalism!
And Dong Zhongshu is not bad either.
This famous Confucian giant in history, in addition to Confucian classics, also read most of the works of the Legalists and the Huang-Lao School.
In fact, in many aspects of history, the thoughts of the connection between heaven and man and the unification of nature are influenced by the thoughts of the Huang-Lao School and the Legalists.
Another example is Han Ying, the founder of the Korean Poetry School.
He is a second disciple of Xunzi, and he has studied many classics of Legalism and Zajia.
but……
These giants, these sages who are well-read in poetry and books, and whose depth of thinking far exceeds that of most people in the world.
But they did not pass on the positive and correct side of their thoughts to their disciples.
Except for those disciples who are regarded as successors and elites, ordinary students can only learn what they want the other party to know.
Moreover, most of them are basic things.
In addition, naturally there is Balabala, the ruler of three generations, and Balabala, the holy king.
But the problem is that the students are not them.
I read few books and have insufficient knowledge and experience.
In such a situation, it is equivalent to being brainwashed.
If there is too much brainwashing, second-rate goods and fundamentalism will inevitably appear.
And fundamentalism will eventually destroy everything!
