415 The Second Day of the Fourth Seventh Year

Early in the morning of the second day of the second lunar month, Liu Chun brought soy milk. It was just right, meat buns with soy milk. This life was so delicious.

Carrying a basin of water, I went to my parents' house, where the old couple was cleaning it up.

Today we have sorghum rice, bean paste rice, and steamed steamed buns. This food is already very good.

"Liu Chun sent two basins of tofu puffs and ten pieces of tofu."

"That's good. We'll fry dried shrimps with pickles for lunch."

In the past, Liang Caixia would never allow her children to talk about what they wanted to eat. Now that life is much better, she will try her best to satisfy whatever they want.

In fact, it is Chen Miao who has this kind of treatment, but others still cannot.

After a while, Chen He came over. She had changed a lot now, because her life was quite comfortable, and her face was no longer as sad and depressed as before.

She is very capable, and by the time her sisters-in-law, brothers and daughters-in-law come over, everything has been sorted out.

Yang Yuemei felt embarrassed when she saw Chen Miao. He didn't even look at her. This made her feel very embarrassed.

The other two sisters-in-law probably know what's going on. They are also trained in adultery now, so they won't get involved out of curiosity.

While they were chatting and laughing, they started to cook the sorghum rice and steam the rice first.

Chen Miao was sitting on a chair aside, chatting.

Chen Mian didn't come, but Chen Xiaoyan came in holding the child.

The couple called Third Aunt and she agreed, but nothing else was said.

Fate is also a very wonderful thing. I didn't like Chen Xiaoyan when I first came here, and I still don't like it now.

Today is the day of reunion during the Chinese New Year. Liang Caixia didn't say anything.

"Third aunt, look at my daughter."

Chen Miao took a look, why is this little girl who is more than half a year old covered with chapped faces? Does she often take her out for a hair dryer?

I am careful with my children, for fear that they will get sick. But look at others, even if such a young child is brought out, he or she will not get sick. It is really not right to raise a child by yourself.

Chen Xiaoyan tried her best to please Chen Miao, but she was still not welcomed.

"Xiaoyan, did I bring you a pack of snacks?" Zhang Yanhong asked uneasily and kindly.

"That's for my mother."

Chen Miao sighed, thinking that he was really a fool, but it was normal if life was bad and he didn't have money to buy more New Year gifts.

"You just brought a bag of snacks for your mother? No wine?"

Chen Xiaoyan also realized that this second aunt was not a good person, and her ideas were trying to push her away.

It was past ten o'clock when Chen Mian and his family of four arrived belatedly. It was like this every year. They were always the last to arrive, probably to avoid working.

She was still the same as before. When she came in, she started to show off how many things she had brought back for her parents.

Everyone is used to it and no one says anything.

Several nephews gathered around Chen Miao and talked about the results of their training.

"I don't understand. Anyway, if you all are smart, it's not a joke."

"Third aunt, when can I get a gun?"

"I hope you will never hold a gun and live in peace. Don't yearn for that kind of life, it's too dangerous."

Chen Mian looked at the third sister in the yard and curled her lips, "Mom, where's the fourth girl?"

"Lao Wu and the two of them went to serve as soldiers."

"Soldier?"

"Well, your eldest sister's Xiaoyan and Liu Kui have also gone, and so has Chunlai."

"What are you doing as a soldier? Aren't you losing your life?"

No one paid any attention to her. If she had spoken such depressing words on New Year's Day, outsiders would have beaten her up.

But after what she said, everyone was dissatisfied. Especially Yang Yuemei, who went to serve in the army.

Chen He knows best what kind of person his sister is, so just ignore her.

Soon we started cooking, including fried pine mushrooms this time.

Chen Miao did nothing but sat in the yard chatting with her nieces and nephews.

"Third aunt, I also want to be a soldier. They said it would be good to be a nurse."

Looking at the second niece Chen Xiaoqin and Chen Miao, she twitched her lips, "Being a nurse requires you to know how to take care of yourself, and you must know how to bandage wounds."

"What's so difficult about that? Who doesn't know how to bandage wounds?

Third aunt, next time Comrade Li and others come over, can you tell me?"

"Xiao Qin, you are still young. It is too dangerous to go to the battlefield."

"Isn't it dangerous for my aunt and eldest sister to go? My eldest sister is also illiterate."

"That's fine, as long as your parents agree." The old man didn't want to be angry, and the second brother and sister-in-law wouldn't agree. Xiaoqin is still the main labor force in the family.

Chen Mian felt unbalanced when she looked at the third sister who was not doing any work. Her mother's face would not look good if she did not do any work.

"Third girl, go over and get two cabbages."

Xiao Qin stood up and went to get it. Chen Mian was so angry that she gave Xiao Qin several rolls of her eyes.

Liu Yongfu came in.

"Is the tofu sold so fast today?"

"Those who want tofu today are all going to their parents' homes to pay New Year greetings."

In the past, tofu could not be served on banquets, but now it is different. It is also a good thing to be able to take tofu to pay New Year greetings to my father-in-law.

The brothers also sat in the yard chatting, but they were all grinding corn. Liu Laifu also sat down to work.

"Brother-in-law, you make a lot of money selling tofu, right?"

"It's okay. We have no problem eating as a family of three. I don't know how much we earn. We just have a lot of soybeans and no money."

"I also want to sell tofu, but my mother doesn't want to because she won't make money." Xu Guangxing sighed.

"It's okay. You can eat the tofu residue and feed it to pigs."

Xu Guangxing sighed again. He wanted to do it, but it required a lot of capital, and his mother simply wouldn't give it.

Liang Caixia greeted us for dinner. This year there were two tables, mainly because several people left.

"Dad, how much did you pay for this cow's guts?" Xu Guangxing asked while eating.

"Your third sister gave it to me."

I had just noticed that my third sister-in-law was pregnant, so I specifically told my daughter-in-law not to talk nonsense.

Seeing his two sons eating the same meat as they had robbed, he said, "But the two brothers should do as they should."

Chen Miao only had a bowl of tofu bread and a steamed bun here, and he didn't even eat a bite of the meat, so there was no need to fight with them.

"You eat mushrooms."

"If you don't want to eat, mom, I'm going to eat today's tofu puffs, which are delicious and very tender."

Chen He smiled and said, "I always order it this way. Today it is tender because the steaming time is short."

"Is that so? I said that my steamed tofu puffs always taste a little bitter, and I think it's because I ordered them too old."

Chen Mian didn't care about this or that, and she and Zhao Erya almost became anxious because of the last piece of meat.

Chen Miao ate quickly and put down her bowl and chopsticks, "Mom, I'll go back first after I'm full."

"Well, you brought some pieces of dried sweet potatoes. I steamed them and they are soft now."

"Mom, I dried sweet potatoes at home, so I don't want any more."

After she left, Chen Mian snorted, but didn't say anything.

There are many people working after meals, and they clean up quickly. The main thing is that everyone eats cleanly, which is actually just washing the dishes.

The women were sitting on the kang chatting, but Chen Mian couldn't hold it back anymore. "Mom, is the baby in the third girl's belly?"

Liang Caixia ignored her second daughter. She was a fool. I really don't know why she didn't have any brains.
