Chapter 4 Ghost Eyes

When he returned to the Lin family, the genius was in a terrible state.

The door of Lin's house is open.

Chi Zao stood at the door of the Lin family villa, looking at this familiar place after a long absence, suppressing the emotions in his heart, and walked in.

The restaurant was busy, and Lin's family was all there.

Lin Yaoguo was sitting at the head seat at the huge long table. On the left were Song Huazhu, Lin Ran and Lin Che. On the right were relatives of the Lin family who also held important positions in Lin's company.

The whole restaurant is lively and luxurious.

The men talk about the company, and the women talk about maintenance and children.

"Sister-in-law, your skin is getting better and better. Please take me to your beauty salon next time." The person who spoke was the Lin family's sister-in-law.

"No matter how much I take care of you, I can't be as young as you!" Song Huazhu laughed in a reserved but cheerful way.

"I heard that Ranran was among the top ten in the class in this exam. She is so smart. She wants our little bully to learn from your cousin."

"Ranran's child is something I haven't worried about since she was a child. It's just her body...hey."

"Sister-in-law, don't worry, isn't there someone there..."

Sudden footsteps interrupted the peaceful atmosphere.

Everyone looked over.

I saw a thin figure stepping in from the outside. She was wrapped in a well-worn school uniform and I could still see her straight and slender legs when she moved. Her face was small and her facial features were delicate and just right, but her face was sickly white, which was different from her.

The skin itself is extremely white and blended, and looks like a porcelain doll under the bright light.

Seeing her coming, Lin Ran's eyes flashed and he thought to himself that his design half a year ago was right. It would be more comfortable to look at her face if she painted it!

Sister-in-law of the Lin family said "Yo", "Chi Zao is back. It's so late that you are so noble. The food that our whole family has been waiting for you is already cold."

Song Huazhu was smiling gently and gracefully just now, but she frowned when she saw Chi Zao, "I'm finally back. Come over here quickly. Everyone has been waiting for a long time. Your cousin has something to say."

Chi Zao walked over and asked, "What's the matter?"

The soft voice was the same as before, but when Lin Ran looked at it, he felt that something had changed about her today.

Because of her good looks, Chi Zao couldn't reduce her sense of presence even though she tried to avoid him in the past. Now she approached the light, the corners of her lips twitching slightly, but there was a hint of coldness in her eyes.

"What's your attitude?" Song Huazhu was already dissatisfied with the phone call just now. Seeing her like this now, she was even more angry.

Xie Yunzhi relied on the Lin family to lie safely in the hospital. For the Lin family, the sensible Chi Zao never dared to have a temper.

During this time, the Lin family had even become accustomed to bossing her around.

But today, Chi Zao seemed very disobedient.

Lin Yaoguo didn't pay much attention to Chi Zao. He didn't know her changes. Thinking of today's business, his expression changed and he said, "Now that you're back, stop standing. Chi Zao, come and sit."

Chi Zao moved his eyebrows and sat at the edge of the dining table.

Sitting next to her was Aunt Lin Ran's daughter, who was fourteen or fifteen years old. When she saw Chi Zao, she immediately rolled her eyes in disgust.

As she took her seat, the harmonious atmosphere in the restaurant had disappeared and turned silent.

Lin Yaoguo clasped his fingers on the table and thought for a while before asking her, "How are you at school recently? Are you getting used to it?"

Lin Ran on the side finally spoke. She smiled slightly and looked at Wen Wenmei. "Chi Zao has been here for almost a year. You should have adapted by now, right, Chi Zao?"

"With Ranran taking care of her at school, can she still be bullied?" Song Huazhu responded lukewarmly, and his dissatisfaction with Chi Zao was very obvious.

Ten-year-old Lin Che shouted disdainfully, "She is just ugly, who will pay attention to her!".

Lin Yaoguo pretended to stop: "Xiao Che." Then he looked at Chi Zao, "Chi Zao, Lin Che is still young, don't argue with him."

Lin Che curled his lips and stopped talking.

Chi Zao calmly picked up his chopsticks, picked up a custard bun and put it into his mouth, "Of course, Mr. Lin. Didn't I care about it last time?"
