Chapter 13 Tracking

The discovery of the explosion confirmed the assumption that the men in black committed serial crimes. Lu Sheng vaguely realized that there must be clues waiting for him to discover on Prosperity Road.

The prosperous road at night has reached the prime time for business. People come and go, and every shop is busy. Lu Sheng came to the noodle shop at the intersection and began to walk deeper into the prosperous road again and again.

The whole street was looking for any clues that the man in black might have left.

The noodle shop is still the same as before, standing alone at the intersection of the streets. The passing vehicles and pedestrians are all recorded by the noodle shop. Like an owl at night, motionless on the branch.

Same as above, staring into the endless night.

I don’t know how much time passed, and Lu Sheng walked down the street no matter how many times.

The driver's fast food still attracts many night-shift taxi drivers, and the large number of cars parked near the entrance shows the prosperity of the business.

A gust of cold wind blew by, hitting his back. Lu Sheng felt a little cold on his back, and suddenly shivered. Lu Sheng subconsciously looked around again. The streets he had seen countless times seemed to be staring at them too.

Lu Sheng.

Lu Sheng suddenly felt something strange. He felt alertly that there seemed to be mysterious figures around him. He was walking in front, and there seemed to be someone following him behind him.

Lu Sheng's steps gradually slowed down, and he slowly turned his head and looked around. The streets were still lively, with pedestrians walking quickly in twos and threes, and a few drunken men gesticulating and shouting in the air.

The taxis were parked on both sides of the street in an orderly manner.

Lu Sheng's eyes were full of doubts, thinking, "Is someone following me?"

If it were daytime, everything would be seen more clearly, and clues would be found more easily. "In the daytime, I might be more like a dead person," Lu Sheng thought helplessly, and continued to turn back and walk forward.

"Why did so many people suddenly appear on the street?" Lu Sheng's sensitive nerves have been separated from the case and he is carefully paying attention to every pedestrian around him.

"Why did he look at me?"

"Why are you standing alone on the roadside so late?"

"Did he just walk in front of me?"

"Is the earphones he is wearing playing content about following me?" Lu Sheng wondered, looking at each person one by one. Occasionally he would stop suddenly and immediately turn around to look around.

Lu Sheng once again walked to the end of Prosperity Road and started to turn back towards the noodle shop. He observed the whole way but found no suspicious person.

"when…"

The sound of something flipping over and hitting the ground suddenly distracted Lu Sheng's attention.

A drunk man just took a pee next to the trash can on the roadside. After finishing, he kicked the trash can for no reason and moved around while swearing.

"Am I too worried? I just walk here over and over again, and I don't seem to need to be followed." Lu Sheng shook his head, laughing at his paranoia.

The pedestrians who occasionally passed by seemed to have become friendly again, and their actions were no longer deliberately interpreted by Lu Sheng.

After Lu Sheng turned back, he was getting closer and closer to the noodle shop. The noodle shop in front, shrouded in the neon lights of the night, did not look so real. Lu Sheng's eyes suddenly focused on the second floor of the noodle shop, staring at the noodle shop, and the noodle shop

Also staring closely at Lu Sheng.

"There is clearly someone in the noodle shop looking in his direction." Lu Sheng noticed. He looked at the noodle shop as he walked, never daring to look away.

Getting closer and closer to the noodle shop, Lu Sheng could already clearly see the figures walking around inside the noodle shop.

"Is that person staring at me?" Lu Sheng quickened his pace, started running, and quickly approached the noodle shop. In front of the window facing the street, a vague figure sat there for a long time.

Lu Sheng's instinct told him that the man in the noodle shop must be looking at him, and he had been looking at him, from the moment he entered the road to prosperity.

"Damn it, it's you, the man in black." Lu Sheng thought with almost certainty, his eyes filled with excitement, and he continued running.

Lu Sheng quickly came to the door of the noodle shop, pushed the door open and hurriedly entered the noodle shop. The loud sound of opening the door attracted the attention of the customers. The noodle shop owner was surprised to see Lu Sheng in a hurry going up to the second floor. Lu Sheng

He quickly came to the window next to the street.

The light in Lu Sheng's eyes disappeared instantly, and he stood there disappointed. He began to look around, looking for suspicious figures.

There was no one at the seat, only a lady's bag. At this time, a female customer walked over with a straight face, looking at her inexplicably.

"There's someone here." The female customer looked at Lu Sheng standing at the table and said unhappily.

"Did you just come here? Where was the person in this position just now?" Lu Sheng was a little anxious and asked the female customer in a loud voice as if questioning a prisoner. The conversation between Lu Sheng and the female customer immediately attracted the attention of the people around him.

Attention, there are many empty seats on the second floor, but there are still some customers. At this time, everyone is looking here.

The female customer also looked around and felt offended by the rude questioning. She ignored Lu Sheng and glared at Lu Sheng. She picked up her bag, carried her face and went to another table to sit down. "You're crazy." No.

Cursing happily.

Suddenly realizing something, Lu Sheng did not stand for a moment longer, but quickly ran downstairs and ran out the door. He didn't even notice at all that he bumped into the noodle shop owner who had just come to greet him.

The noodle shop behind him had only one front entrance. Lu Sheng confirmed that there was no back door. He stood outside the door with his hands on his hips, breathing heavily and recalling all the details. "Damn it, did you see a ghost?"

Lu Sheng continued to run out, looking around aimlessly and searching hard.

"Could it be that I'm hallucinating?" Lu Sheng thought to himself, remembering the old man's reminder, "Impossible, it must not be a hallucination."

Tonight was so strange, Lu Sheng thought, and had already left Prosperity Road. Instead of taking a taxi home, Lu Sheng chose to walk back. He was expecting the stalker to suddenly appear.

Just walked like this for a long, long time...

Ahead is Handan Road, and at the intersection is Heping Street, the same Heping Street that took away three lives a few days ago. When he got here, Lu Sheng shivered again, and hugged his shoulders with his hands. When he got here, Lu Sheng left home.

Not far away.

There was nothing unusual along the way, only the countless streetlights watching him along the way, only the round moon following him, and only the feeling of becoming more and more lost as he walked.

"It must not be an illusion, this feeling is too real." Lu Sheng said to himself, and walked all the way home. His nerves were always tense, but he didn't feel any fatigue at all.

Lu Sheng felt like he was being nakedly provoked, as if he was being told, "Come on, catch me, I'm right next to you."
