Chapter 58 Accident and Confrontation

What should I say, Grete never thought that things would go so smoothly.

Faced with Harry's concern, Ginny Weasley took out her notebook from her pocket without even hesitating.

Thinking again about the first time he met Ginny, Gretel couldn't even finish a complete sentence.

But when Gretel touched the notebook, Ginny's eyes suddenly became trance-like.

Her fingers tightly grasped the edge of the notebook and refused to let go.

The color on his cheeks from dating Harry alone was quickly dissipating, and he became increasingly pale.

Seeing this situation, Gretel was shocked. It was over, and he forgot that his body was also fused with the fragments of Professor Fu.

Now that the snake has been completely alerted, Tom Riddle will use Ginny's life force to escape.

The bright reddish-brown hair is withering rapidly, and the smooth and tender skin is becoming wrinkled little by little.

The expression on his face was a mixture of painful struggle and the joy that Tom Riddle was about to break free.

Seeing that if things continued like this, Ginny Weasley would die in front of him, Gretel felt cruel and took out his wand.

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

The pain of the Cruciatus Curse targets both the body and the soul. Accompanied by a scream that overlapped with that of Ginny and Tom Riddle, 'Ginny' loosened her fingers that were tightly holding the notebook.

Fortunately, it seems that Tom Riddle has not completely taken over Ginny's body.

The moment her fingers were released, Ginny fainted, and a vague shadow returned to the note.

Ignoring research, Gretel stuffed the notebook into her bag, picked up Ginny and went straight to the infirmary.

"Madam Pomfrey, help~"

After stumbling all the way, Ginny finally rushed in front of Madam Pomfrey before she stopped breathing.

"Mrs. Pomfrey, please save Ginny Weasley, she is dying."

As the chief physician of Hogwarts, Madam Pomfrey could tell at a glance that Ginny Weasley had been drained of her life force.

"Mr. Potter, leave it to me. I can cure her. Please help me inform Principal Dumbledore that something big has happened at Hogwarts."

After taking Ginny from 'Harry Potter', Madam Pomfrey went straight to the treatment room, not forgetting to turn around and tell 'Harry' to find the Headmaster.

The polyjuice potion on Grete's body will expire in a few minutes, so how could he throw himself into a trap?

Now that Pomfrey can cure Ginny, he must now distance himself from herself.

If you mention a random classmate, it doesn’t matter whether he agrees or not.

Harry, played by Gretel, gasped and said: "Classmate, please help me. I ran all the way here. I have lost all my strength. Can you please invite Principal Dumbledore over?"

The password in the principal's office is lemonade."

There are still many good people in the world. Seeing Gretel out of breath, an unknown kind person patted his chest and ran straight to Dumbledore's office.

Gretel, on the other hand, found an opportunity to cast the Disillusionment Curse on himself, and after turning a few corners, he went up to the eighth floor.

He needs to clear his name.

——

When Gretel came out of the Room of Requirement and went to the restaurant to eat, he heard many people whispering.

"I heard that someone in Gryffindor was seriously injured. I don't know if he was saved."

"What you are saying is wrong. What I heard was that a dark wizard slipped into Hogwarts, and someone in Gryffindor has been killed."

"No, your news is lagging behind. I heard that it was because of the savior that his temperament changed drastically and he almost beat people to death.

I saw with my own eyes that he was taken to the infirmary by a group of professors, and now I am waiting for the victim to wake up before identifying him."

Gretel was confused. He felt that he was not attending a wizarding school, but some kind of quick cram school for gossip editors.

However, after all, there are still people who are well-informed.

Grete knew what happened after he entered the Room of Requirement.

Not long after he left, Dumbledore came to the infirmary.

Madam Pomfrey said that Ginny Weasley was not only almost drained of her life force, but also had a reaction to the Cruciatus Curse in her body.

This stirred up a hornet's nest, and the professors who came after hearing the news all seriously stated that they would conduct a thorough investigation at Hogwarts.

Among them, the one who reacted the most was undoubtedly the headmaster of Ravenclaw, Filius Flitwick.

He looked at Dumbledore with questioning eyes.

But now Ginny Weasley has not finished her treatment, and they have no way to verify the case with the victim.

When the professors were at a loss what to do, the kind person who went up to ask for Dumbledore said, "It was Harry Potter who sent the person to the infirmary."

As a result, Harry, who was immersed in studying, suffered a disaster.

The group of professors headed by Professor McGonagall turned around and left, taking Harry Potter back to the infirmary.

Although no one would believe that it was Harry Potter who did it, in order to let him get rid of suspicion, he did it in front of a bunch of students.

The professors used a flashback spell.

"No problem. We traced back the spell on Mr. Potter's wand and found only traces of class practice."

Harry, who was confused, felt the 'love' from Snape before he had time to sort out his thoughts.

"It seems that our Mr. Potter is not willing to practice at all after leaving the classroom."

The heavy popping sound was like a sharp arrow attacking Harry, and he finally couldn't help but roll his eyes.

Harry secretly swore in his heart that he would not make any mistakes this semester, and he would never give Snape a chance to arrest him and put him in solitary confinement.

After ruling out Harry as a suspect, as long as Ginny Weasley doesn't wake up, I don't know where to start the investigation.

In order to prevent anyone from being killed again, the prefects of each college were notified, asking them to inform everyone in their college not to act alone.

The martial law continued until Monday morning. As soon as Gretel arrived at the door of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, he saw the serious faces of Filius Flitwick and Minerva McGonagall.

"Mike Gretel, follow us and don't leave our sight until you reach the infirmary."

Entering the ward, Dumbledore was smiling and chatting with Ginny Weasley who had regained consciousness.

Seeing Gretel come in, Ginny Weasley let out a scream and wrapped herself in a quilt.

"No, don't let him come over. He is the devil. It's all him."

Dumbledore quickly cast a soothing spell to calm her down.

"Gretel, in order to clear your mind, please hand over your wand."

After a rigorous inspection, Minerva McGonagall nodded and returned the wand to Gretel.

Groot got up dissatisfied and shook his arms heavily at the professors in front of him, venting his anger at being woken up.

He picked up the wand and got into Grete's pocket to continue catching up on his sleep.

Several professors laughed briefly, and Professor McGonagall looked at Ginny seriously.

"Miss Ginny Weasley, I hope you can recall what the person who attacked you looks like.

You accused Mr. McGregor, but we found no trace of the Dark Curse in his wand."

Professor Flitwick also looked at Dumbledore seriously, "Albus, I feel that taking Gretel away from the classroom before class has damaged his reputation.

As the principal, you must be fair, and like Harry, you must clear Gretel's reputation.

If any adverse effects are caused, compensation must be provided.”

Dumbledore rubbed his temples in distress.

"Gretel, can you explain why you went to Ginny Weasley on the first day and reminded her about the notebook?"
