Chapter 8 She's Just a Marriage Object

As expected, Shen Yi got stuck in a traffic jam downstairs of the company. In the absence of traffic jam, the drive was supposed to take forty minutes, but in the traffic jam, it took twice as long.

But Shen Yi still sat calmly in the car, showing no sign of impatience. After all, this was the outcome he had already expected.

At half past seven, Shen Yi returned to Bihai Bay Villa. The housekeeper was a little surprised to see him coming back at this time, "Sir, you are back. Have you had dinner?"

The housekeeper was hired after Shen Yi and Ye Wanwan got married and moved to Bihai Bay.

Originally, Shen Yi's mother, Ms. Lin Xu, planned to let the elderly people from the old house come over to take care of their daily life. However, considering that Ye Wanwan would be uncomfortable, she felt that she was deliberately letting the people from the old house keep an eye on Bihai Bay. Lin Ms. Xu simply asked them to hire new servants.

The new butler has not yet fully understood Shen Yi's daily routine and temperament. However, this is the first time since the new butler took office a month ago that he is surprised to see the male owner return to the villa before nine o'clock. .

"Where is Wanwan?" Shen Yi asked as he walked towards the stairs.

"I went to see her before dinner. My wife said she had no appetite and didn't want to eat. She must have been frightened. Her eyes were red and she looked like she had been crying." The housekeeper followed Shen Yi and answered respectfully and truthfully.

When Shen Yi heard the housekeeper say "I cried", his body stiffened slightly, but he did not stop and quickly went to the bedroom upstairs.

When she opened the door and went in, Shen Yi saw Ye Wanwan sitting on the bed.

Ye Wanwan seemed to be frightened by the sudden intrusion, but when she saw the man standing at the door, the tip of Ye Wanwan's nose became sour and her vision became blurred.

Shen Yi frowned slightly. He knew that Ye Wanwan couldn't swim. She had a drowning experience when she was a child, so she hadn't learned to swim yet, so she must have been frightened today.

Shen Yi walked over, sat down by the bed, reached out to smooth Ye Wanwan's somewhat messy long hair, and gently wiped away the tears that fell from the corners of her eyes with his fingertips.

"It's okay, don't cry." Shen Yi soothed in a gentle tone.

Ye Wanwan just stared at Shen Yi blankly, shedding tears without saying a word. Her eyes were red, as if she had been greatly wronged.

Shen Yi didn't know that she was not scared because she fell into the swimming pool, she had just accepted the incredible fact that she had been reborn.

She was allowed to see Shen Yi so quickly, and her mood was a little complicated for a while.

She liked the man in front of her, she had liked him in her previous life, and even though she finally died of depression, when she saw him again at this moment, she still couldn't restrain her love for Shen Yi in her heart.

In fact, at the last moment of her previous life, she had already figured out that she and Shen Yi would end up like that because they were not suitable for each other.

She was full of love when she first married Shen Yi. She married Shen Yi with infinite longing for love, and then expected Shen Yi to give her the same romantic love.

As for Shen Yi, she is just a marriage partner.

He will do what a husband should do, take care of her and love her.

She could even feel that Shen Yi loved her too. He remembered her favorite dishes, knew what color lipstick she liked, and knew many little habits that no one else knew about.
