After Yang Bin climbed in, he put his headlight in to take a look, and said, "This should be the foundation of the underground palace tower. God of Wealth bless me. Damn it, I must leave something for you."
There is a common sense that brick pagoda underground palaces are generally not big, with one to three small rooms, most of which are a secret room. This is the case for Kaiyuan Temple Pagoda and Baiyi Temple Pagoda in Lanzhou. This is my first time to enter an ancient pagoda underground palace.
"Don't fucking push me, why are you pushing me?"
"Keep your voice down, it's not easy to get in here. I'll help you with your butt."
"Stop yelling, get in the water pump first."
Lao Ma and I held up the water pump and let him get through first.
"How's it going? What's going on over there?"
After dozens of seconds, the excited sound of the water pump came from behind the wall.
"Come here, boss! There's something!"
"It's great this time! I saw several little golden Buddhas!"
"Golden Buddha!"
Yang Kun said excitedly: "Quickly! Look at it and let me in."
He stepped on the bricks and quickly got in through the hole in the brick wall, and I followed behind.
The underground palace is not large, more than 20 square meters. It is very dark and the surroundings are quiet.
I looked back and forth with my headlamp on.
There are more than a dozen small niches dug into the brick walls of the underground palace. There seem to be things placed in each niche, including dusty Buddha statues, incense burners, and some things wrapped in gauze, which may be handwritten Buddhist scriptures.
A type of small object.
Take two steps forward and you will see a stone table on the north side of the underground palace. The stone table is also covered with a layer of dust and there are several things placed on it.
A pair of small pagodas made of white crystal can be recognized at a glance. The middle part of the white crystal is hollowed out, and some small things like jelly beans are placed inside.
This is the crystal stupa....
That's not all. In the middle of a pair of crystal stupas, there is a base carved with bluestone lotus. The yellow cloth covering the lotus seat has been somewhat weathered, and something is exposed.
It is a small palm-sized coffin. The small coffin has two layers. The outside is golden and the inside is silvery white. It is a mini version of the gold coffin and silver coffin made of pure gold and pure silver. The hairpins around the small coffin are engraved with Buddhist Eight Treasures patterns.
The conch umbrella cover and the fish intestines in the flower pot are heavy in the hand, and overall they are exquisite.
Yang Kun couldn't believe it, he rubbed his eyes vigorously.
"It's... it's happened to us, is it that we've made it? How come we still have such a good baby!"
"Old Ma, hurry up... put it in a sack!"
"Boss, come and see! There is another maza here!" the water pump shouted.
The water pump is not talking about Mazar. This is the first time I have seen that thing.
It was an iron cage made like a horse, with a square piece of bluestone placed in the middle. The middle of the bluestone was hollowed out to make a box similar to a heaven and earth cover. There were rows of words engraved on the surface of the stone box.
"In the fifth year of Emperor You's reign in the Song Dynasty, the age of Gui, in the eighth month of Siqiu, on the fourteenth day of the month, the Yuchi family supervised the construction of a royal pagoda."
"The stonemason is doing his work every week, so he offers a pearl and a lot of money as an offering to my Buddha."
"Wang Tong of Yuxing Tower presented two gold hairpins and three pieces of silk and satin."
...and so on, are all such records.
"Damn it, it's so heavy. Boss, what is this thing? Is it worth anything?" The water pump tried the weight and tried to lift the thing.
"This... this is the stone box."
Yang Kun pointed and said, "Didn't you see what's written on it? Copper coins, gold hairpins, and orbs are all hidden inside. This is a treasure, worth at least one hundred thousand yuan."
Yang Kun didn't recognize it, but my heart was beating fast. This was more than 100,000...
This is an offering stone culvert, which is the same as the stone culvert unearthed from Famen Temple, but that one is bigger and this one is smaller.
The King Pagoda is the Ashoka Pagoda. Judging from the area of the stone culvert, the Ashoka Pagoda inside should not be big.
Before I had time to take a closer look, I just glanced at this small underground palace, the white crystal stupa, the mini gold coffin and silver coffin, the stone han that Huang You donated for five years, and the Asoka Pagoda that I didn't see...
These are all first-class cultural relics.
Anyone who dares to take one away.
Basically, we have to start talking about it ten years ago.
