The sound outside the door made Song Zhishu surprised. He looked over. Song Zhishu couldn't help but feel overjoyed. Zhou Wenyuan's students came to him, which meant that the great scholar was here.
By communicating with Zhou Wenyuan, he gained huge benefits. If he could communicate with the great scholar, the benefits would be even greater.
"Junior Brother Zhao, I will go find you in a few days. Senior Brother has some matters to deal with and needs to leave first."
Song Zhishu looked at Zhao Yuan, who was also a smart man. He glanced at him, then looked at Song Zhishu and said: "Senior brother, I'm busy first, but I have a little thing to ask for. Can you get me a qualification to attend Mingyue Academy?"
?Recently, the academy is full of people, and at the end of the day only outer disciples can participate. Of course, if it affects senior brothers, then forget it."
Zhao Yuan was a little embarrassed, after all, he had something to ask for.
"Okay, I will arrange it, but I can't guarantee whether it will succeed." Song Zhishu nodded with a gentle expression, but he was not sure whether he could get a place. After all, he also owed Mingyue Academy a favor, and he still wanted to find someone.
It would be a bit bad for someone to help me.
"Thank you, Senior Brother Song." Zhao Yuan was overjoyed and bowed to Governor Song.
Soon, Song Zhishu left the room and followed the other party to Mingyue Academy. Along the way, Song Zhishu was thinking about what Zhao Yuan had just said.
I have to say that what Zhao Yuan said just now really made Song Zhishu realize his mistake.
"The way of cultivation is about striving for destiny. Although I have many reasons, I still don't want to stay in the sect and refuse danger. If there is peace and prosperity, everything will be fine, but troubled times are coming. No matter what the future holds, I cannot maintain such a mentality.
"
"The road to cultivating immortality lies in fighting. If we don't fight, in troubled times, we will eventually be buried by geniuses from all walks of life. I must adjust my mentality and strive for excellence in the world without fear of all difficulties."
Song Zhishu sighed in his heart. He was satisfied with the fate of immortality and his life became more and more satisfactory, so he had no idea of taking risks. He wished he could hide in the immortal gate and slowly become an immortal. This was obviously not a good thing.
We still have to take this step, step out of the greenhouse, and let the wind and rain beat us. Of course, one core is very important, that is, you can't seek death, you can fight, but when you encounter real danger, you should retreat when you should.
"Brother Lu Ming, how is the academy lately?"
After making up his mind, Song Zhishu didn't care much for the time being. Instead, he looked at Lu Ming who was leading the way. He wanted to find out what the purpose of calling him this time was and whether a great scholar was coming in person.
"Mr. Hui Song, I have been very busy recently. Since the monks have entered the realm of knowledge, all the academies in the nine major cities have become lively. I don't know how many people have signed up to study."
Lu Ming spoke up, a little helpless. In his opinion, these people are not real scholars, but come here for profit. The way of reading must not be too purposeful, especially when it involves personal interests, it should be for the sake of the world.
And reading is not reading for oneself.
"Is this such an exaggeration?" Song Zhishu couldn't help but say. He was still thinking of getting a place for Zhao Yuan, but it seemed a little difficult now.
"Well, there are too many outer disciples of Taihao Sword Sect, and even many inner disciples are involved. There is no shortage of true disciples among them. Several true elders have even approached Mr. Wenyuan privately."
"The enthronement of the saint has a great influence, and the status of Confucianism has also been greatly improved. Just like me, in the past, the outer disciples of Taihao Sword Sect would greet me with respect when they saw me, but now the inner disciples are polite to me when they see me.
I really don’t know what to say.”
He said aloud that he didn't know how to evaluate this matter.
This is true. The influence of saints is too great. Now that they have become immortals, the luck of Confucianism is too terrifying. Everyone in the world wants to fight for it. And they are not only fighting for the luck of Confucianism, but also want to be on good terms with Confucianism. Otherwise,
, all of them are immortal cultivators. If you want to truly understand Confucianism, you definitely need someone to guide you.
Naturally, the status of these scholars has been greatly improved. Not only that, since the saint's death, the prospects of these scholars have become extremely good. Although Lu Ming is only a Confucian scholar in the realm of knowledge, it may not be long before he can become a gentleman.
A Confucian scholar.
Even becoming a true Confucian is not an exaggeration. When a whale falls, all things come to life. This is probably the truth.
"Mr. Song, don't worry. I can make the decision to ask for a place for your friend just now. It's not a big deal." Lu Ming seemed to know what Zhishu Song was thinking, so he spoke directly to avoid Zhishu Song's embarrassment.
"Thank you, Brother Lu Ming." Song Zhishu couldn't help but thank him. The latter waved his hand and said, "Mr. Song is really polite." He was very humble and respectful, much gentler than the first time they met.
"Brother Lu Ming is the one who is polite. Mr. Song is a little embarrassed to say that." Song Zhishu said. He felt that Lu Ming was too polite, but the latter shook his head and said: "I don't know, Mr. Song, your article
The students have already gained a lot from reading, and if nothing else happens, they will be able to advance to the state of knowledge and action in a short period of time."
"Call me sir, it's definitely not unfamiliar."
Lu Ming spoke seriously, which made Song Zhishu think highly of him. After all, the other party was a famous person, so he should have some arrogance, but after a simple contact, there was no arrogance at all. He was a humble gentleman, nothing more than that.
"You're welcome." Song Zhishu cupped his hands and didn't say much. The friendship between gentlemen is as light as water. There is no need to say too much, and there is no need to appear too enthusiastic. Just know each other's feelings.
I originally wanted to ask about Da Ru, but after thinking about it, Song Zhishu still didn't ask.
In this way, after burning the incense, Song Zhishu came to the academy again, but this time Lu Ming put Song Zhishu in a pavilion, and then left on his own. The whole process did not say a word, which seemed particularly mysterious.
In the courtyard of the pavilion, Song Zhishu stood quietly. About a quarter of an hour later, three figures opened the door. The leader was Zhou Wenyuan. Behind him stood two old men. One was a little short and had a kind face, and the other looked full of emotions.
Integrity, quite a bit like a strict teacher, but other than that, he has no other characteristics and has a feeling of returning to his original nature.
Zhishu Song did not dare to ask for help, so he quickly stepped forward and bowed to the three of them: "Student Song Zhishu, I have met these three gentlemen."
"Young friend Song, I'm unfamiliar with you. This is my master Gu Yun, and this is my good friend Ning Ping." Zhou Wenyuan said with a smile, and then introduced the two old men behind him. As soon as he said this, Song Zhishu moved toward him.
The two bowed deeply: "I have met the great scholar Guyun and the great scholar Ningping. I am really flattered."
Song Zhishu was indeed flattered. Two great scholars came to see him in person. How could this not make people feel flattered?
You know, some inner disciples can't see Zhou Wenyuan now. Only true disciples or true elders can meet Zhou Wenyuan. Then think about what level of Confucian people can meet him?
At least he is at the level of Chief Senior Brother, right? Or the Lord of the Fourth Palace, or the Supreme Elder, the head of the Taihao Sword Sect.
Now that two great scholars are here in person, how can Song Zhishu not feel favored?
"Song Xiaoyou, please sit down."
Ning Ping, the great scholar, spoke, and he asked Song Zhishu to take a seat, and then glanced at Zhou Wenyuan, who immediately understood, left the room, and closed the door.
After the door was closed, Ningping Daru said directly: "Little friend Song, I am a straightforward person, and I don't want to hide it. I have already read this scripture you wrote. To be honest, it is nothing more than the pen of a saint." in this way."
"But Guyun Daru and I are very curious as to whether this scripture was written by you, and we would like to ask you to tell me personally. Of course, if you don't want to answer, we have the right to treat it as being rude."
Great Confucian Ning Ping spoke up, and his first sentence was indeed very direct, asking this pointed question.
Great Learning, this is one of the Four Books and Five Classics. It can be said to be a treasure of Confucianism in previous generations. Such scriptures cannot be written by ordinary people.
People who really understand literature will know that articles are definitely not created by chance. They must have a deep understanding before they can be written. Personal thoughts, environmental factors, and sudden enlightenment can finally produce an article.
Just like some poets, they are not very famous, compared to Li Bai and Du Fu, they are not as good as them, but they accidentally write a poem that can be passed down through the ages. That's it.
Moreover, time cannot produce thoughts, and the same civilization may not necessarily produce the same articles. Just like in this world, time seems to be worthless, with a history of tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or millions of years.
It stands to reason that Confucianism in poetry and articles is more developed. The poetry and articles in ancient China in the past are only five thousand years old. Why would they cause such a big stir in this world?
The reason is not time, but 'thought'. It is inappropriate to describe heroes emerging from troubled times. A truly classic article and poem can only be born when the right person encounters the right thing and has a moment of enlightenment.
Otherwise, if the words are arranged infinitely, the saint can be mass-produced, but is this true? The answer is obviously impossible.
Therefore, the two great scholars had doubts about the source of this article. Song Zhishu had long expected it, and Song Zhishu was also prepared for this problem.
"May I ask these two gentlemen, is there any difference if it is written by a student?"
Song Zhishu did not answer hastily, but asked the other party about this matter.
After hearing this, the expressions of the two of them did not change. Ning Ping, the great scholar, said directly: "If it is done by my little friend, we will be close to all abilities, and I hope that my little friend will embark on Confucianism."
"If it were not by my friend's hand, we still hope that you can embark on Confucianism and Taoism, but we also hope that you can tell us the person who wrote this scripture, so that we can have peace of mind. After all, in troubled times The time is coming when Confucianism urgently needs a sage."
The great scholar Ning Ping was straightforward, without any concealment, upright and free-spirited.
After Song Zhishu heard this, he couldn't help but sigh in his heart, and then he gave an answer.
