Chapter 65 Dacheng

【The Way of Dacheng Cultivation】

In the spiritual room, Song Zhishu was sitting at the table, slowly placing a book on the table with a look of surprise in his eyes.

The book is not thick, with less than a hundred pages. The author is a senior of the Sword Sect, but he has passed away now.

Perhaps because it is relatively old, the pages are a little yellowed and old, and Song Zhishu has roughly got some answers to all the confusion.

Through the contents of the book, Song Zhishu learned about some different things involving the secrets of spiritual practice.

In fact, practice is not as simple as ordinary monks imagine. There are ten realms of practice, from Qi training realm to Mahayana realm. Each realm has a perfect realm. Each realm has moral thoughts. It does not mean that he absorbs the heaven and earth.

Spiritual energy, when refined, is called the Qi-refining state.

The state of perfection is to practice a state to great perfection, perfect and flawless, which is the most perfect state, and this is the way to practice greatness.

And this perfection, if I have to explain it, is somewhat similar to the supreme goodness proposed by Confucianism. The two have different approaches but the same purpose.

The key point is that each realm has different implications, which require hard work to comprehend. It is not as simple as it seems on the surface. It only requires simple practice. It also needs to be understood and comprehended.

At the same time, there is also a record in the book, that is, the first monk in the world, the sage who created the practice system, is the path of Dacheng practice. Every state is perfect, but as time goes by, later generations will practice,

It is found that it is very difficult to achieve this step, and it is extremely complicated. Those who do not have extremely high understanding and opportunity should not contact it.

Because it takes a lot of time and energy to practice to the so-called Dacheng, and it also requires special conditions. This will slow down the speed of practice. Later, some people find that they don’t have to reach a certain state during their practice.

The level of perfection can also be broken through to the next level, and the strength will be improved, and it will be simpler.

As a result, some powerful monks began to streamline the way of cultivation and made it into a simpler and more suitable method for rapid cultivation, which was quickly sought after by countless practitioners.

Over time, later practitioners gradually ignored this detail because they wanted to pursue improvement in strength and reach a higher realm faster. Even now, not many people know that there is something called spiritual practice.

The path to great success.

In other words, many people know this, but how many are willing to sacrifice the near for the distant? Just like the low-level monks in Mingyue City, even though each of them knows that there is perfection, when faced with a breakthrough, how many people will wait slowly

?Who doesn’t want to break through to the next level immediately? Become stronger quickly and earn a lot of spiritual stones quickly?

In particular, spiritual practice is like sailing against the current. If you don't advance, you will retreat. Everyone is scrambling to survive. How many people will completely calm down and think about the so-called perfection?

Thinking about the content in the book, Song Zhishu stood up and came to the window, with his hands on his back: "This kind of method, even if I learned about it, is actually of little significance. If Haoran Zhengqi hadn't forcibly corrected it, I'm afraid I would have directly broken through to Zhu.

Basic realm, so this kind of knowledge is indeed dispensable."

"I accidentally came into contact with the realm of perfection. This is really a bit fantastic." Song Zhishu couldn't help but sigh with emotion. He just wanted to break through to the foundation building realm quickly, but he never thought that Haoran's righteousness could actually guide him.

, hoping to embark on the road to perfection.

Thinking of this, Song Zhishu didn't think much, but continued to ponder the perfection mentioned in the Dacheng practice.

"The highest good in Confucianism represents the state of perfection achieved by oneself through reading. However, what is the so-called perfection in spiritual practice? How to achieve the perfection of Qi training?"

Song Zhishu was still confused about this. After thinking hard, he still couldn't find a clue. Finally, he turned around and put away all the books on the table.

Then walk out of the house and head to the library again.

The purpose is to continue to use contribution points to rent related books, especially those signed by the senior swordsman.

But in the end, I was told by the disciples of the Sutra Pavilion that the Sword Sect senior had indeed written many books related to practice, but apart from the one in his hand, if he wanted to borrow the others, it was not enough to have a contribution point, at least from the outer sect or even from the outer sect. Only the status of an inner disciple is enough.

After all, the handyman disciples are not officially recognized by the Sword Sect, their authority is very low, and they still have no access to real things.

Song Zhishu was helpless and had to return all the books he had borrowed before to the Scripture Collection Pavilion. After all, he had already memorized the contents.

"What should we do next? We can't borrow books from the Sutra Pavilion." Song Zhishu was thinking as he walked towards his home. Then, he suddenly thought of something and turned towards Mingyue Academy.

Jianzong couldn't find the answer, so he had no choice but to ask Mr. Wenyuan for advice.

Soon, Song Zhishu came to Mingyue Academy and visited Zhou Wenyuan again. This time, Song Zhishu informed Zhou Wenyuan about the Dacheng Cultivation Path. This was his guess and he hoped Zhou Wenyuan could give an answer.

But it is a pity that Zhou Wenyuan is only a scholar after all, not a monk. He does not understand this, but he has some opinions of his own.

"Song Xiaoyou, although I am not a monk, I do know a thing or two about it. In my opinion, this way of great success is like Confucianism. In fact, spiritual practice is not just about practicing Qi with a meal. It also involves one's view of things and one's understanding of nature. Insights, understanding of all things, and thoughts on Tao are still important."

"All things are unified, and different paths lead to the same goal. Many things may seem different, but the closer you go, the more similar things become. Therefore, this perfect path, like a gentleman's perfection, cannot be achieved by relying on the treasures of heaven and earth. The panacea, but the thought, is an understanding, a perception, finally touching the realm of Tao.”

"Of course, this is just my humble opinion. I dare not draw any conclusions about whether it is right or wrong."

This was Zhou Wenyuan's answer, and these words were very recognized by Song Zhishu. Since Taoism can become one of the three religions in the world, it must have ideas in it. "Tao" is the highest thing for monks, and Confucianism is "sage". There must be similarities between the two.

However, Zhou Wenyuan could not give a specific answer, but he was willing to write another letter to ask Song Zhishu not to be anxious, but as before, Song Zhishu needed to wait patiently.

The Longyuan Conference was coming soon, Song Zhishu naturally understood and sincerely thanked Zhou Wenyuan, because now it was determined that there was no problem with cultivation, and there was nothing wrong with waiting for a while.

Just in time to wait, you can earn some more spirit stones. If you get the answer later and break through the foundation building realm again, it will cost a lot of resources. You can prepare in advance and strive for perfection.

Farewell to Zhou Wenyuan, Song Zhishu borrowed a few more books before leaving. He is now at the pinnacle of the Confucian realm of knowledge and sage, and is one step away from reaching the realm of knowledge and practice. Since he has stopped temporarily in terms of cultivation, he might as well take some time to spend more time on it. Confucianism accumulates accumulation.

A day without progress is a retreat. Song Zhishu understood this truth and he would not neglect his efforts just because of the differences in his present situation.

Days passed, and as usual, Song Zhishu read and meditated every day, carved gems and jade, and waited for the academy's reply. Fortunately, he had borrowed a hundred yuan of jade on credit. According to the current rate of one yuan a day, it would not be long before everything was completed.

After a while, outside the Tiancong Mountains.

The four of them, Li Dao, gathered together. They were in a mountain forest, which was inaccessible and overgrown with bushes. Generally, no disciple would choose to enter. This was also the place agreed upon by Wang Yue and Liu Qing, saying it was very safe.

Now the four of them are all neatly dressed and ready, and except for Li Dao, the other three have looks of anticipation on their faces, full of excitement.

Seeing this, Li Dao was still a little worried after all, so he looked at the three of them and reminded them again: "You must remember what I said before, don't be greedy, don't be blinded by temporary benefits, the spiritual stone is important, but your life is even more important."

In fact, Li Dao had said this many times on the way here, but he still felt uneasy and repeatedly explained that he would always be a little worried, especially when he saw the excitement and expectations of several people.

"Yes, Senior Brother Li, whatever you say is whatever it is, and we will definitely listen." Wang Yue said with a smile, and the other two people nodded quickly.

"Yes." Li Dao was a little relieved, and then looked at Zhao Yuan: "Junior Brother Zhao, according to the plan we made yesterday, you will not go in today and will be responsible for welcoming people outside. The share will remain the same as before."

Zhao Yuan had the lowest cultivation level among everyone, so Li Dao didn't let him in just to be on the safe side.

"Okay, no problem." Zhao Yuan immediately nodded in agreement.

Then everyone waited in the forest for another hour. The scorching sun was shining brightly. It was already past the agreed time, but there was still no one coming. Li Dao couldn't help but frown and looked at Wang Yue.

"Why haven't they arrived yet? Did we arrive early?"

"It shouldn't be. This is the time Liu Qing was talking about." Wang Yue also felt strange and a little anxious. He raised his head and looked around, but soon his eyes lit up and he pointed in one direction: "Brother Li, look quickly, Liu Qing

Qing and the others are here."

When everyone heard the words, they all turned their heads and saw a group of people coming in the direction Wang Yue pointed. There were five people in total. The leader was Liu Qing. Sure enough, as Wang Yue said, this person had reached the level of training.

The Nine Levels of Qi Dzogchen.

The four people around him are also well-cultivated, and the robes they wear are brand new. In terms of clothing, they are indeed better than Li Dao and others.

When the two parties got together, Li Dao naturally didn't dare to talk about being late because he needed to lead the way. He just talked about the share of the money and some details.

The main focus of this transaction is to patrol around the Tiancong Mountains to slay monsters and look for elixirs. It is not a big deal. It is just that Liu Qing is more familiar with the surroundings, which is equivalent to finding a guide.

At that moment, after discussing everything, everyone started to act.

In this way, seven days passed in the blink of an eye.

I thought that with Liu Qing leading the way, the income from this trip would not be much worse, but what I didn't expect was that in these seven days, I didn't even find a monster, and I didn't earn a single spiritual stone. In a short time, the entire mountain patrol

The team was filled with sadness and gloom.

On the outskirts of the Tiancong Mountains, in a mountain forest, a group of people were sitting and resting. Everyone was silent and the atmosphere was dull. Wang Yue looked at Li Dao's silent expression and felt a little anxious for a moment, because this time he came to the Tiancong Mountains.

What he proposed has gained nothing now. He has the responsibility. At that moment, he couldn't help but look up at Liu Qing and spoke directly.

"Senior Brother Liu, seven days have passed in a row, and our group has not gained anything at all. Could it be that you deliberately didn't take us to some good places?"

"I also find it strange. It wasn't like this last time we came here. This situation is indeed beyond my expectation." Liu Qingmo was about thirty years old, and his face didn't look good at the moment.

"Then what should we do next? Brother Liu, please give me some advice. If this is still the case, we should leave." Li Dao said, coming to the Tiancong Mountains this time was an adventure, and now that there is no gain, it is better to go back first.

.

"Actually, there is a place that we accidentally discovered. There must be something to gain there. However, the danger there is relatively high. With the strength of the five of us, we can only resist it. If you are willing, I can lead the way.

"

Liu Qing also seemed to feel that he could not keep his face on his face and spoke slowly.

"But as I promised before, now I am going to a more dangerous place." Wang Yue frowned, after all, this was beyond the plan.

"What needs to be said has been said. I won't force you to go or not. If you don't want to, that's fine. The five of us will go on our own." Liu Qing said.

Wang Yue didn't speak anymore, Wu Lishan was also silent, and they all looked at Li Dao.

After a full stick of incense, Li Dao slowly spoke out: "Actually, Senior Brother Wang was right before. The way to practice lies in fighting. Moreover, during this period of time, we have not gained anything at all. Now we are venturing into heaven again."

Congshan Mountain, it is better to agree that if there is any danger, we will leave immediately."

In fact, he was unwilling to leave like this. Of course, he was very cautious and thought that if he encountered any danger, he would withdraw immediately.

But to be honest, it's not that Li Dao suddenly became bolder, the main reason is that he failed to make any profit after repeated attempts, which would be unbearable for anyone else.

"Okay, let's listen to Senior Brother Li." Wang Yue was silent for a moment. He had not had any income for several months. Now he has an opportunity. Although it is a bit dangerous, he can give it a try.

Wu Lishan had no objection. The three of them discussed it, looked at Liu Qing, and nodded in agreement. However, they agreed in advance that if there was a crisis, they would withdraw immediately. Liu Qing nodded in agreement, and then everyone rested for another hour.

Under the leadership of Liu Qing, we officially set off on the road.

At the same time, in a room in Mingyue Academy, Song Zhishu had just finished writing a Confucian article silently and was about to sit down and rest.

"Brother Song, are you here? The teacher has invited you."

A voice sounded outside, it was Mr. Wenyuan's disciple Lu Ming.

Hearing Lu Ming's voice, Song Zhishu stood up slowly and bowed his hands in salute to Lu Ming. The latter smiled: "Brother Song, you'd better go to the academy first. No need to be polite."

During this period of time, Lu Ming had been in contact with Song Zhishu for a long time. The two could be regarded as gentlemen's friends. They were not enthusiastic, but they liked each other and talked occasionally. They had a good relationship, so they would no longer call them sir.

The two of them walked together and soon arrived at a courtyard of Mingyue Academy. Zhou Wenyuan was sitting in it, obviously having been waiting for some time.

Lu Mingze prepared two cups of tea and bowed to leave.

"I have met Mr. Wenyuan." Song Zhishu walked into the courtyard and bowed and saluted. Although he expected the great Confucian to reply, Song Zhishu also knew that Confucianism cannot abolish etiquette.

"You're welcome, little friend Song, sit down." Zhou Wenyuan pressed his hand, and after Song Zhishu sat down, he took out a letter from his sleeve, put it on the table, and then said: "My master is preparing for the Longyuan Conference.

While busy, I took the time to read many books and finally found some information."

"The so-called Dacheng cultivation method is indeed recorded in Confucian classics, and the master clearly stated it in his letter. After the Qi training realm reaches Dzogchen, although one can directly break through the foundation building realm, there is also a theory of perfection, which is called perfection.

Practicing Qi, and this perfection requires refining one breath."

"Refining one breath?" Hearing this, Song Zhishu thought about it and continued to ask: "May I ask, sir, what does this breath refer to?"

"My master didn't explain it in the letter because the record was not clear." Zhou Wenyuan shook his head and began to explain: "Although I, the Confucian, have always had the habit of recording history, after all, it is different from immortality, so there is no more detailed record in this regard.

Records, I’m afraid you still need to find the real answer yourself, little friend Song, but one thing is clear, if I find that breath, I can practice my Qi to perfection, and then it will be a matter of course, and I can achieve foundation building.”

"I think the reason why Song Xiaoyou's Confucian righteousness prevents you from breaking through and building a foundation is that Song Xiaoyou doesn't have that breath."

"That's it." Song Zhishu nodded. He was not too disappointed with this answer. At least he knew some clues.

"Little friend Song." Zhou Wenyuan spoke and took out another book: "This is from my master along with the letter. It records the perfect practice of Qi. You can take it home, although it is not exhaustive.

, but I think you might be of some help to Xiaoyou Song."

"Student, thank you so much, Mr. Gu Yun, and Mr. Wenyuan." Song Zhishu stood up and saluted, and then took the books.

"There is no need for this. It is my responsibility as a scholar to help people solve their doubts." Zhou Wenyuan smiled.

However, Zhou Wenyuan expounded his own opinions on this. Song Zhishu listened carefully and took note of these remarks, so as to understand them carefully.

In this way, after late at night, Song Zhishu took advantage of the darkness to return home. He still tidied the room briefly before opening the book.

Another hour passed.

Song Zhishu closed the book, sat on the chair and thought about it, and then sighed slightly.

The content in the book is actually similar to what Mr. Wenyuan described. To practice Qi perfectly is to refine one breath. As for what that breath is, the book does not say it, or it is not recorded by Confucianism at all.

"It's no wonder that Confucianism can't give a clear answer. Immortals and Confucianism are two different paths. It's not easy to find so much information. However, my status in Jianzong is too low, otherwise I would definitely be able to find it in the Sutra Pavilion.

For a more detailed explanation and record, why bother to spare such a large circle and continuously trouble Mr. Wenyuan and Guyun Daru?"

Song Zhishu was helpless, but he had no other choice but to ask the two gentlemen for advice. Confucianism was about educating the world and solving people's doubts, while Immortalism was different. It kept many things secret and had obvious class distinctions.

Yu is both a master and a disciple, but as a master, he often keeps one hand, let alone a huge sword sect.

But after all, we got useful information. At least Song Zhishu now really understood the problem and had a goal.

The most important thing now is how to find and refine that breath!

And there was one thing recorded in the book that surprised him, that is, if you really achieve perfect Qi training and then break through the foundation building, you will get completely different benefits from ordinary monks, and those benefits are unique.

Now that the goal and direction have been clarified, Song Zhishu understands that he should not be anxious next time. The key is to go step by step. After all, his own practice is different from ordinary people.

Without thinking any more, Song Zhishu returned to his seat, preparing to record everything he had learned in these days and make a final summary.

At the same time, on the outskirts of the Tiancong Mountains, in an unknown trail covered with thorns, a group of people appeared faintly and walked towards the outside.

These people were exactly three people headed by Li Dao and five people from Liu Qing.

At this moment, everyone's face was filled with smiles, especially Wang Yue, who counted the income in detail, calculated in his mind, and found that even after dividing the money, he would have received at least nearly 20,000 spiritual stones.

This is the first income in recent times, which is extremely impressive.

Thinking of this, Wang Yue couldn't help but feel excited. He looked at Liu Qing next to him and said thank you.

"Senior Brother Liu, thanks to your guidance this time, the three of us have achieved these gains. When we get back, I will serve as a host and we must go to Juling Tower for a good meal."

"It's easy to talk." Liu Qing agreed after hearing Wang Yue's words, but in the end he still said: "But senior brother Wang, you must remember what we agreed before, and don't regret it when the time comes."

"Senior Brother Liu, don't worry." Wang Yue naturally knew that he would have to give 20% as reward for leading the way.

Wu Lishan next to him kept nodding. Although 20% was a lot, it was obviously nothing compared to this harvest.

For a time, everyone was very happy and the atmosphere was good. They were all talking and laughing. However, unlike everyone else, Li Dao frowned all the way. This expression was naturally noticed by Liu Qing, and he asked directly: "What's wrong with Senior Brother Li?"

With an unhappy expression, is he dissatisfied with this harvest?"

"That's not true, it's just that the harvest this time exceeded my expectations. I'm very grateful to Senior Brother Liu for bringing us here. It's also appropriate to treat us later." Hearing this, Li Dao looked up and thanked him first, but hesitated.

After a while, he finally spoke: "It's just that Senior Brother Liu, I looked carefully next to the area where we picked the elixirs. I found that there seemed to be a spiritual field, so I was a little worried."

Li Dao's worry is very reasonable. If it is a spiritual field with an owner, even if it is not entered, once it is discovered, it will be in great trouble.

"You can rest assured about this. I have picked elixirs there more than once, and nothing has ever happened to me. As for it being a spiritual field, I'm afraid it has been abandoned for a long time. No one will care about it. I guarantee there will be no problem. Besides, we should be careful during this trip.

Be cautious, why should Senior Brother Li bother himself?"

"Of course, if Senior Brother Li feels something is wrong, then we will cooperate this time, and we will each do our own thing from now on."

Liu Qing, however, didn't care. He first asked Li Dao and everyone to relax, promising that nothing would happen, and then said they wouldn't go together next time, as if he thought Li Dao was too long-winded and cautious.

"Senior Brother Liu, don't be angry. I, Senior Brother Li, don't mean it like this. Besides, you should be careful." Wang Yue opened his mouth to smooth things over. The harvest this time was really great, more than before. If he comes a few more times, he can buy more.

With a lot of cultivation resources, and then retreating to hit the ninth level of Qi training in one fell swoop, if the cooperation is interrupted, it will be a big loss.

"Of course I believe what Senior Brother Liu said. I hope you don't take it to heart." Li Dao thought for a moment and apologized. At the same time, he thought about it for himself and felt that what the other party said was reasonable. If he really had an agenda,

They definitely cannot enter the spiritual field easily. After all, this is in the Tiancong Mountains. Anyone who can have a spiritual field here will definitely send people to guard it.

Although I still had concerns in my heart, I did not choose to speak out for fear of affecting future cooperation.

In this way, a group of eight people walked towards the place where they had agreed to meet, and soon they left the scope of the Tiancong Mountains.

But when Li Dao and others were looking for Zhao Yuan's figure, after seeing a direction, his face suddenly changed, and he secretly thought something bad. Not only him, but Wang Yue and Wu Lishan also turned pale.

A chill went straight to the top of my head.

Because right in front of everyone, a group of Law Enforcement Hall disciples lined up neatly, standing not far away with indifferent expressions.

As for the leader, all three of them knew him. He was an outer disciple, Bai Qiuyu.
