Chapter 251 We were tricked!

"Eric, did you get anything?"

"No, Charles, maybe we should drive further."

Eric looked at the trawl net with only a few small fish and had a headache. Today was their third day at sea, but the harvest was pitiful. The fish they caught were only enough for the two of them to consume every day, let alone sell them.

I'm afraid I'll have to go back empty-handed.

Charles walked out of the captain's cabin and saw Eric downcast. He patted him on the shoulder and comforted him: "Don't worry, Eric, we must have gained something today. We are far away from the port, aren't we?"

His old friend was good at everything, but he was too impatient. Fishing was a matter of patience, and it was not uncommon to go out to sea for a week without harvesting anything.

"Yes, we are far away from the port."

Eric nodded, because the harvest in the first three days was pitiful, the two of them chose to come to the sea where few fishing boats passed, and stayed away from the port. Maybe they could harvest more this way. This time they came here today.

The first net in a large sea area proves nothing. Maybe a good harvest can be achieved with just one net.

The two grabbed the trawl net and prepared to lower it again, but when Charles opened the net, he was shocked to find that there was a big hole in the net!

"Hey! Eric, look, there's a hole in the fishing net?"

"Well, is this something to be happy about?"

Eric was speechless. Why was his friend so happy when his fishing net broke?

Charles encouraged the pessimistic Eric: "But it proves that it's not that there are no fish here, but our fishing problem, doesn't it?"

Eric was stunned, it seemed like this!

Thinking of this, he became excited and ran to the noose to change the net and start fishing again.

Charles also came to help, and he was all smiles when he got the good news: "This is really the first good news today. It seems we are lucky, maybe we can see whales or dolphins!"

"Then I want to take pictures to show my daughter! She hasn't seen dolphins yet!"

The surrounding waters of Ireland are important feeding, resting and breeding habitats for permanent and migrating cetaceans, and are one of the holy places for whale watching.

Local fishing boats often see these sea elves when they go out to sea. Fishermen regard them as a symbol of harvest and will never return empty.

But just as the two of them changed the trawl net and were about to throw it into the sea again, Charles suddenly stopped. He stopped on the deck, narrowed his eyes and stared at the sea in the distance, the sun dazzling slightly.

"What's wrong?"

Eric also stopped what he was doing and followed his friend's gaze. After looking for a while, he narrowed his eyes exactly the same.

On the sea in the distance, a touch of orange becomes clearer and more conspicuous. It looks a bit like a tent, and seems to be dragging something underneath.

That's a life raft!?

Charles, who had been watching for a while, was startled. He quickly ran back to the cab: "Quick! That's a life raft. Let's go over and take a look!"

Eric looked serious and immediately put away the fishing net.

They may have encountered a shipwrecked person!

On the other side, a high-flying drone also captured the back of a small fishing boat in the distance. The audience was all excited. After nineteen days at sea, Fang Shen actually met someone!

[Holy shit, that’s a fishing boat, right? It’s been twenty days, and I finally met someone, Fang Shen is awesome!]

[Awesome plus! I really relied on my ability to find the mainland!]

[The smelly one who was smoked to death was given a spaceship*1 to the host--it’s so awesome!]

Bi Fang also saw the fishing boat, but he did not call for help immediately. Instead, he stared at the fishing boat and observed it for a while. Although the possibility of encountering pirates in Irish waters was unlikely, it was still better to be careful.

It wasn't until he saw the trawl net and a few small fish in it and confirmed that it was really a fishing boat that Bi Fang chose to approach the fishing boat.

When Charles drove the fishing boat close to the raft, Eric immediately lowered the ladder rope on the deck. When Bifang climbed to the railing, he stretched out his hand to pull him up.

"Hello, can you speak English?"

Seeing that the target was rescued, Charles came out of the cab and looked curiously at the young man with a slightly darker face in front of him.

"meeting!"

Seeing that Bi Fang could understand English, Charles quickly asked: "How long have you been floating? Is there anyone else who needs rescue? Where are they? Take us there quickly."

The other party was not in particularly bad spirits. It seemed that he had just been killed not long ago. The accident might be nearby. Is there anyone else who needs rescue?

Bi Fang shook his head. He was not a real person in distress. Faced with the fishermen's questions, he answered truthfully.

"I've been floating for almost twenty days."

"What*2"

Eric and Charles exclaimed in unison, and Eric was the first to not believe it.

"Are you sure it's twenty days? Not two days?"

Bi Fang knew that the other party did not believe it, because the difference in pronunciation of twenty and two in English made it impossible to confuse the two.

"You mean you lived at sea on a life raft for twenty days!?"

Eric still didn't believe it after receiving the affirmation. He quickly came to the deck and pointed at the raft below. But when he looked down, he almost popped his eyes out.

FUCK, why are there so many fish?

Atlantic salmon, European eels, mackerel, herring, capelin, and even a large shark that was longer than an adult!

Eric could explain himself with so many fishes in front of him. Maybe he happened to have a boom when he was in trouble and could catch no less than a few, but what the hell happened to the shark?

Can you fucking catch this thing?

Are you Santiago?

What we gained in two and three days is not as much as you and one shipwrecked person?

At this moment, Eric suspected that he might have encountered some kind of scam, or that the show was a prank, just to watch the jokes between him and Charles.

Charles on the side saw his good brother looking down at the raft without saying a word, like a puppet without clockwork, so he also looked down curiously.

Wind-up puppet +1

The cold wind blew by, making the two brothers' hearts feel cold.

Eric put his hand tremblingly into the clothes. Bifang's eyes were fixed, and he was immediately on guard. He didn't relax until he saw that Eric took out a cigarette.

Eric took out the cigarette box, took one out and held it in his mouth. He tremblingly tried to take out the lighter, but found that he didn't seem to have brought it. When he was about to put the cigarette back, a bunch of trembling flames came over.

, he looked up and saw that it was Charles, whose hands were also shaking violently.

Bi Fang looked at the scene and felt a little emotional.

Sure enough, fishermen are very hardworking. Look at these two people, who are only in their thirties and less than forty years old. They are both suffering from colds and their hands are shaking so much that they can't even hold a cigarette.

Eric took a deep breath of cigarette and exhaled it slowly. He looked at Bifang and decided that this was a prank show, specially designed to prank fishermen like them who had been out at sea for many days but had no harvest at all. They asked one person to pretend to be a person in distress.

Then load up a boatload of fish to taunt them.

Life is not easy, the fishermen sigh.

After suffering so much and being fooled by life, I have to say that the other party's goal was achieved.

"Tell me, where is the camera?"

Bi Fang was shocked. He didn't expect the two of them to realize so quickly that this was a program focusing on the wilderness. The program team had previously made the drone fly low to avoid the two's sight for the sake of effect.

Now that he was seen through, Bi Fang didn't want to continue pretending, so he raised his hand.

"Right there."

The drone slowly rose, and the two brothers looked at each other and nodded at the same time.

They were indeed tricked!
