Chapter 151 Adults may eat meat

Several thumb-sized wasps were hovering about a foot above my head. I think anyone would be frightened by this situation.

I unconsciously wanted to dodge, but Chujiu held my head firmly and couldn't move.

The severe pain in my stomach, coupled with the several giant wasps hovering above my head, made my body start to convulse. For a moment, I thought that maybe dying would be better than it is now.

Mi Li took out a small bottle from the cloth bag, poured out a drop of liquid, and applied it to the bulge in my stomach. Then the rhythm of playing the bamboo flute changed.

I saw one of the wasps that was hovering in the air, flew straight to my stomach, stretched out the giant stinger on its tail, and stabbed into the place where the liquid was applied.

"ah!"

The overwhelming pain came in an instant. Chujiu, who was well prepared, wrapped me around with his hands and feet, preventing me from breaking free.

The wasp that stung me did not fly away again, but flapped its wings and flew not far from Mi Li's feet.

There was a hint of sadness in Mi Li's eyes as she kept staring at the wasp.

It seems that I already know in my heart the changes that are about to happen to me.

In less than half a minute, all the pain disappeared. I felt more comfortable and relaxed than ever before.

Mi Li breathed a sigh of relief after seeing me like this, and his expression felt like a blessing in misfortune.

The sound of the bamboo flute sounded again, and several wasps hovering above me flew away into the distance. Only the one that stung me did not fly away and crawled around Mi Li's feet.

I took a breath and found no pain except for the fist-sized bulge in my stomach that was moving.

I stared at my stomach and was about to ask what was going on when Mi Li spoke first.

"You were poisoned. You ate something unclean and there is something in your stomach."

After Mi Li said this, he took out a small bamboo tube from the cloth bag in his belt. He poured out a small pill wrapped in white wax.

"Eat it."

I looked at the small pill in my hand and did not take it immediately. Instead, I saw Chujiu turning his head in disgust.

"If you don't want to feel any more pain, eat it quickly. The venom of this bee can only guarantee that you will not feel pain for three minutes."

Mi Li urged me to take the pills quickly. Seeing that Chujiu didn't say anything to stop me, thinking of the inhuman pain before, I stuffed the pills into my mouth and swallowed it in one gulp.

"Mi Li, do you call a wasp a bee?"

"This is either a wasp or a bee, but it's just larger, like a wasp."

After Mi Li finished speaking, he explained to me the difference between bees and wasps.

There are obvious differences in the appearance of bees and wasps.

The body of the bee is short and round, the whole body is covered with yellowish-brown or dark-brown hair, the waist is not obvious, and the abdomen is nearly oval and has a ring-shaped color band.

The body shape of the wasp is slender and long, and the body color is mostly black, yellow, brown or a single color. The waist is relatively obvious, and the abdomen is smooth or has engraved spots of different sizes.

All wasps are wild, and only one or two hundred wasps can live in a hive, so wasps have a bad temper than bees.

The wasp's hive is made of paper; the bee's hive is waxy.

Bees are less venomous and will cost you life when they sting you; while wasps only lose their fighting power after stinging you.

"What? Does this mean that this bee will die after saving me?"

After listening to Mi Li's explanation, I felt sad in my heart.

No wonder this bee didn't fly away with the other bees, but lingered at Mi Li's feet.

Mi Li didn't answer me and stretched out his palm in front of the bee.

The dying bee used up its last bit of strength to crawl onto Mi Li's palm, rubbed Mi Li's fingers with its tentacles, and then stopped moving at all.

The timely last-ditch attack on the ninth day of the lunar month made me feel even more guilty.

He told me that these are special bees that sister Mi Li spent many years cultivating. Each bee has its own name.

No wonder Mi Li looked so sad, it turned out to be like this. Looking at the motionless bee in Mi Li's hand, I felt very uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was like this."

Mi Li shook her head and told me that this was the best destination for them, but she never liked it.

Mi Li picked up a few leaves from the roadside and wrapped the bees. It seemed that he was going to bury the bees on the roadside.

Just as I was about to stand up to help, my stomach started to churn and my throat tightened. I turned over as quickly as possible and turned my head to the roadside.

"Ugh vomit vomit" I vomited three times in a row, and I just felt a large piece of white debris coming out of my mouth.

When I raised my head, Chujiu looked solemn and was standing in front of me.

I stretched out my hand to push Chujiu aside, but Chujiu didn't move his body and said to me:

"Guo Guo, I advise you not to read it."

"Are you looking down on me? Is there anything we haven't seen in the past six months? Even if it means death, you have to let me die, don't you understand?"

When Chujiu saw that I insisted on watching, he moved a little to the side.

"Ugh~" I vomited again, but this time I really wanted to vomit. A stream of acidic water came out of my mouth along with scattered white objects.

"I told you not to look, but you insist on looking!"

On the ninth day of the lunar month, the rice grains that had buried the bee corpses were leaning against the tree pole next to them.

After seeing me vomiting for more than ten minutes, Mi Li actually had a smile on her face. It seemed that my miserable state actually relieved her.

I don’t know how many times I vomited, but what I am sure of is that there is definitely nothing left in my stomach and I can vomit it out.

I wiped away my tears and walked up to them.

"Holy crap! What is this? Isn't it too scary?"

By this time, I had begun to adapt and glanced at the white debris not far away.

Thousands of small white bugs, similar to rice bugs, were crawling in the grass on the roadside.

I couldn't believe it, so many bugs were vomited out of my stomach.

"Scary? If sister Mi Li hadn't come to pick us up, the horror would have been yet to come."

Chu Jiu told me, don’t look at these bugs the size of millet bugs. In three to five days at most, they will grow into adult bugs that are as thick as a thumb and two or three inches long.

I can't imagine what it would be like to have hundreds or even thousands of worms two to three inches long in my stomach. It would probably burst my stomach.

Just when my imagination was getting creepy, Chujiu said again: "Sister Mi said that this kind of adult insect may eat meat."

"Holy shit!"

Isn't this too vicious? I can't imagine what the millet worms in my stomach look like when they grow into adults.

I remembered the scene when I was a child, when I followed my grandfather to move people's graves and open a museum. There was a skeleton with maggots crawling everywhere.

Mi Li squatted on the side of the road, picked up a few of the millet worms I spat out, and carefully put them into a small bamboo tube.

"Actually, it's not that painful. You will die from the pain before they grow up."
