201. Bad intentions

Watanabe Manyumi drove the car, and Iwahashi Shinichi sat quietly in the passenger seat.

"Do you have other plans?" is like "Have you eaten?", which is a confirmation question. After Watanabe Manyumi denied it, everything went according to her plan.

Send Shinichi Iwahashi home first.

"I trouble you every time." Iwahashi Shinichi said.

"Please forgive me for the polite words." Watanabe Wan Yumi smiled, "Just say something else."

"for example?"

"For example, what do you think about the list finalized tonight?"

"Honestly, it doesn't matter." As the two of them were together, Iwahashi Shin kept saying it. "For us, it doesn't matter who wins or loses."

"That's true." Watanabe Mayumi thought with him, "The first thing is the band that 'wins', no matter which one it is. The better the show is, the richer our harvest will be."

The lineup for the first episode was decided today, and there are still a lot of things to be busy with. The closer we get to the start of the broadcast, the more things we have to prepare for.

Just think of buying a house. When you get the key, you open the door and see a blank, and you know that the battle has just begun.

"I have to communicate with amuse and Yanyin recently, and the record company also needs to keep up..."

As soon as Watanabe Manyumi opened her mouth, she started counting the things to do next. Shinichi Iwahashi laughed when he heard this, "It's really not easy."

The two met for official business, and when they spoke, they talked about work matters.

Watanabe Manyumi also thought it was funny when she thought about this, and said half-jokingly and half-seriously: "It's not easy, but it's not hard to see the results of your efforts."

"Haha!" Shinichi Iwahashi couldn't help but laugh, "You're right, working in vain is what makes you tired."

There were few vehicles on the streets late at night, and the Mercedes-Benz driven by Watanabe Mayumi was speeding on the street. Iwahashi Shinichi looked ahead, looking at the flashing car lights, and suddenly thought of Yoshida Miwa's song.

"A while ago, I made some songs for Miwa-chan." He said it as a casual conversation topic, "She wrote some very interesting lyrics."

"Really?" Watanabe Wan Yumi was a little interested.

Shinichi Iwahashi told her about "pressing the brake light five times, that's the code for my aunt's washing of the railway line" and joked: "It's just because I'm always thinking of such roundabout codes that I've never been able to fall in love.

"

"Are you beating around the bush? I think it's pretty good."

"Why?"

"Just listening to it makes me feel wonderful," Watanabe Manyumi said, "After you listened to Yoshida-san explain the meaning of stepping on the brake light five times, and now you see the brake light come on, don't you think of this code?

"

"When I see it, I will only think 'だいきらい' (very annoying)." Iwahashi Shinichi said deliberately.

Watanabe Wan Yumi ignored him, "So, if you think about this secret code and sit back here, you will think of it, and even driving will feel wonderful."

"'You have golden hair, and wheat is golden. When I see wheat, I think of you...'" Iwahashi Shinichi blurted out, "Is that what you mean?"

"That's right." Watanabe Mayumi smiled, "So, when the band debuts as a mainstream band, this song must be included. I think that for women, this approach must be subtle and romantic."

"Okay, then I'll take this song." Shinichi Iwahashi promised her, "To put it bluntly, it's a simple and touching song, but it can't be the main hit."

The car drove to the downstairs of Shinichi Iwahashi's apartment.

Iwahashi Shinichi turned his head and looked at Watanabe Wan Yumi, "It's getting late, so I won't invite you up for tea."

Watanabe Wan Yumi knew that he asked her deliberately, and had no intention of inviting her to drink tea. She followed suit and asked deliberately: "Nothing else, but...has Shinichi-kun prepared tea at home?"

"Of course, I can't dare to invite you to drink tea without anything. Wouldn't that be a bad intention?" Iwahashi Shinichi answered confidently, but he felt a little guilty. This was to make it clear that he wanted to be polite to her.

Something that does not exist.

He doesn't come back more than a few times a week. Apart from asking Miwa-chan and Nakamura Big Brother to borrow his place to cook hotpot together, no outsiders come over. How could there be anything like tea?

"OK."

The more confident he was, the more bluff he seemed to Watanabe Mayumi. She did not expose him, "Then, good night."

"Good night." Shinichi Iwahashi unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car.

Watanabe Wan Yumi watched his figure walk into the apartment entrance before restarting the car.

Just two days after the 27th, the streets and alleys of Tokyo were filled with promotions for Akina Nakamori's new single "Hard to Break", and the TV was full of her performance information.

During the day, Shinichi Iwahashi traveled between Yoyogi and Shimbashi, and he saw promotional posters about her from time to time.

The 1980s was the most prosperous time for Japanese music television programs. Old-school singers did not often appear on television, and idols filled the huge gap in program guests. Because of this, these programs also became the backing of this period of idol craze.

At the same time, because there are so many music programs, you can listen to new songs from your favorite singers just by turning on the TV, which has impacted the record market. Even top singers can only sell hundreds of thousands of copies.

People in the early stages of starting a business start from scratch and those who have already established a career will be successful if they don't do anything.

Seeing the poster reminded Shinichi Iwahashi of how he had met Nakamori Akina when this single was being produced. He had listened to Kato Tokiko's song demo in person, and even expressed his feelings toward Nakamori about this song.

Akina expressed a lot of her own opinions in choosing this song as the lead single.

Although he has actually never done anything, seeing what was just a semi-finished product not long ago being put on the shelves of record stores, being promoted overwhelmingly, and being sung by Akina Nakamori on the show, Iwahashi Shinichi still has a subtle feeling,

I have also participated in this delusion.

Thinking of this, he felt a little affection for this single in his heart.

After the single was officially released for sale, Iwahashi took some time off in the evening and walked into a nearby record store and paid for a CD of "Hard to Break".

Akina Nakamori, who is at the peak of her career, has released a new single, and the record store has spontaneously placed Nakamori Akina's single in the most conspicuous place in the store, and has quite a lot of stock.

I originally thought that there would be a lively scene of crazy queuing, but even if it is a Tao Pu star film like Nakamori Akina, the record store is just busier, and there is no such situation as queuing to check in at Internet celebrity stores.

After all, in this day and age, record sales are slow and steady.
