On the 9th, it was cloudy in the morning, and after a while, it started to drizzle.
During the rehearsal, the staff all put on raincoats, and those who performed on stage were sweating soon after. It made no difference whether they wore raincoats or not.
Shinichi Iwahashi wears a giraffe hood. He relies on his short-sleeved arms to feel the sticky drizzle immediately.
Wearing hoods to rehearse is because there are cameras in the audience filming and recording the rehearsal clips. Later, the rehearsal clips may be cut out and put into the videotape.
The return of money from the concert, the road to profit, tickets, peripherals, video tapes...
A triangular relationship is always the most stable relationship. Of course, for the income of the concert, the more angles, the better.
The Fukuoka venue was the first stop of the tour. It was the band's first large-scale concert. In addition to the first time, there was also the trick of hanging up a sunny day doll to pray that it would not rain that day, which was a lot to watch.
However, the rehearsal footage was filmed and returned to filming, but there were no plans to film the entire performance at the Fukuoka location.
Shooting the entire concert requires the use of more professional equipment, which will increase the workload and cost. Therefore, we only select one or a few of the concerts to record during the tour.
The Fukuoka venue is the first show of the tour. It is the first time for the band to embark on a large-scale tour, so the performance may be unfamiliar and not suitable for retention.
The video tape released after the tour is the one that the band wants to pass down to the world. The public knows the band and recalls the performance. Twenty years later, or even longer, if they want to watch the band's previous performances, all they want to watch is the video tape.
A release.
Taking this into consideration, we arranged to shoot the whole show on the first day of the two shows in Nagoya and Tokyo. The show in Nagoya was the middle of the tour, and the show in Tokyo was the finale.
I chose Nagoya because the performance is the most stable, and I chose Tokyo because it has the largest venue and the highest specifications. Include two shows and make two preparations to avoid betting on the same show, which results in poor performance and cannot be released.
video tape.
After deciding on the number of full-length filming sessions, and considering the issue of portrait rights, the audience must be informed in advance to let the audience know which performance will be fully videotaped. Under this premise, choose whether to buy tickets and which one to buy.
field.
When setting up a tour, every aspect and every detail must be carefully considered and arranged——
I can only say that I am grateful for the developed concert culture in Japan. Not only are there various experiences and plans for reference, but the audience also understands all the rules tacitly.
There are three people in the band, and there are seven people in the band as accompanists, including the three members of BOLAN's band. In addition, there are one male and two females, totaling three people in harmony.
In addition to the accompaniment team, a seven-member backup dance group was also used.
No. 20, don't worry about making the stage lively - it's all Miwa-chan's good idea.
The main stage was planned to be located in the middle of the venue. It was a circular stage, and the outermost circle was a ikebana that rotated at a constant speed. The speed was adjusted to a very low speed, and Miwa-chan would still be able to run around the venue on her two legs——
For this reason, during the preparations for the concert, she also actively exercised and ran long distances every day to exercise her physical strength.
Miwa-chan has to run around the venue, and Brother Nakamura is also responsible for interacting with the audience. He carries his bass, which is so heavy that it has no friends, and walks down the flower path of the main stage, constantly touring.
The flower path leading to the auditorium is not a cross-shaped one that divides the venue into four parts, but a long flower path that runs through the entire square.
The inner circle of the main stage is the base camp of the musicians - the giraffe man who plays the keyboard instrument is also among them.
Among the three people in Dolimuzcom, he is the one who saves the most physical strength.
However, just hiding behind the scenes is not a big deal. As a formal member, you have to interact with the audience and cooperate with Miwa-chan to show the difference between a formal member and a supporting musician.
Therefore, for this tour, Shinichi Iwahashi also made an emergency use of a shoulder-mounted keyboard synthesizer. In the middle of the performance, he walked out of the camp with the keyboard on his back, walked around twice, performed two songs, and then returned.
Fortunately, Brother Nakamura is a bass player and not a guitarist, otherwise, this configuration, this sense of déjà vu...
The Japanese FIR is confirmed.
The rehearsal was carried out in drizzle. The main stage was made of steel and iron, with handmade Sunny dolls hanging on top and bottom. There was a strange contrast between the small Sunny dolls and the rugged equipment.
During the rehearsal, Miwa-chan tried out the flower path that was a little too long.
Whenever she runs wildly on the stage, the staff will run with her below to avoid accidents. She has amazing physical fitness, rushes over in one breath, and can pick up the next line of the song without blushing or out of breath.
There are position markers posted on the flower path, and the random running on the stage is not just a random running around.
While she was running wildly, Brother Nakamura played to the empty square - all outdoor performances were standing seats - and the accompanying dance troupe also danced dutifully.
Miwa-chan ran back from the end of the flower path, joined the dancing group, and jumped along with her.
No trace of slackness can be seen on anyone's body.
Iwahashi Shinichi stayed on the comfortable main stage, watching her run wildly like a wild girl, and was filled with admiration. In addition to admiring her, he also held a sweat for her.
When rainwater wets the flower path, the risk of running on it will increase.
Fortunately, on the day of the performance, the shoes provided were sneakers so that she could run around like crazy when the venue was full of people.
It was Miwa-chan who provided the planning and design, and her aesthetics were obviously explosive, but she claimed that the costumes were in the style of a dreamy fairy tale, paired with practical sneakers. This stage style could not be found anywhere else in Japan.
However, the existence of performance costumes with explosive aesthetics is not completely meaningless. First of all, this is the exclusive style of DREAMS COME TRUE. Although other singers may not want to copy it, it is indeed unique.
Secondly, we also considered that this is a large-scale concert. Exaggerated and eye-catching costumes will make it easier for the audience to recognize people.
There is no performance style that is acquiesced or condoned for no reason.
"Does Sunny Day Baby work or not?"
There was a break in the rehearsal, and as soon as Miwa-chan returned to the main stage, she squeezed in next to Shinichi Iwahashi. It seemed that it was not the Sunny Dolls that worked, but Shinichi Iwahashi.
"We won't know until tomorrow." Shinichi Iwahashi answered her.
The rehearsal started in the morning and was divided into three sections. When it was all over, it was three o'clock in the afternoon. The drizzle stopped unconsciously. Although it was still cloudy, there was a faint sunshine in the west.
The stage director looked at the sky and was quite happy, "Looking like this, maybe the rain will stop tomorrow."
I hope so.
If these Sunny Day dolls really work, Shinichi Iwahashi thought, then they can be used as limited-edition giveaways for the subsequent concert videos and given to the audience who bought the videos.
The premise is that it really doesn't rain tomorrow.
Only Sunny Dolls with "mana" are valuable, otherwise there is no point in giving them to the audience.
Below the main stage is the lounge for this tour. After the rehearsal, everyone retreated below, took a shower, changed clothes, and prepared to go back.
While Iwahashi Shin drank the tea prepared by the staff, he thought about how to use these little things.
After taking a shower, there was a masseur who was following the tour backstage. Miwa-chan, who exercised the most, went backstage to find the masseur and started enjoying herself.
The whole rehearsal was divided into three parts. Even so, when it was announced that it was over, Miwa-chan was still so tired that she had a sullen face and was half-dragged backstage by the staff.
For someone like her who likes to go all out in one go, it might be more comfortable to continue in one breath.
But even so, when she started enjoying the horse and killing the chicken, her physical strength gradually recovered, and she returned to her energetic appearance.
Iwahashi Shin passed by her lounge and was spotted by her. She waved to him repeatedly: "Shinichi-kun~"
"Come on, come on!" she greeted.
Iwahashi Shinichi walked in and asked, "How do you feel?"
"No problem." She boasted.
Iwahashi Shinichi looked at her face and made sure that there was no problem. He felt relieved and asked her, "Would you like something to drink?"
Miwa-chan lay there, shook her unsightly head, and pointed to the bag in the corner, "Can you bring that over for me?"
Shinichi Iwahashi glanced at her, walked over, and took out a GAMEBOY.
"That's it!" Miwa-chan cheered.
The range of movements was so large that the masseur couldn't help but remind her, "Yoshida-san."
Shin Iwahashi thrust the GAMEBOY into her hand, as if giving candy to a disobedient child. Miwa-chan took the game console and started playing Brick Breaker happily.
"Shinichi-kun, are you playing with this?" Miwa-chan asked him.
She was full of confidence, "I am very good at this game. Let Shen Yijun play against me. I will never lose!"
"Really?" Iwahashi Shinichi saw her looking like she was about to raise her tail again.
"Unfortunately, I don't have GAMEBOY yet."
"That's a pity." Miwa-chan looked a little regretful, then cheered up and encouraged, "Shinichi-kun, why don't you buy one too? It's super interesting."
GAMEBOY is a new game console released by Nintendo this year.
By the way, the price is 12,500 yen. You can easily get it by working as a temporary worker at the concert for two days.
…
The next day on the 10th, the first day of the concert, the morning was still gloomy.
However, as it approached noon, the sky started to become more or less clear. Looking at it this way, maybe it really won’t rain during the performance that starts in the evening.
The official start of the show is at five o'clock in the evening, and admission starts one and a half hours in advance.
However, the sales of concert peripherals and records started early in the morning. Therefore, early in the morning, there were audiences gathering near the venue.
The staff on site have been busy since early morning. In addition to those who followed the rehearsal yesterday, there are also temporary workers hired specifically for today.
The market prices in Fukuoka are slightly lower. Hiring a temporary worker only costs 10,000 yen a day.
A total of 1,200 temporary workers were hired today. For the two-day performance, the wages for the temporary workers alone were 24 million yen.
Yesterday's rehearsal was completed, and everyone participating in the performance will have some free time for sightseeing until three o'clock in the afternoon today——
But don't run around randomly. If you miss the concert because you get lost, it will be a serious accident.
There is no freedom to move around while carrying baggage, so most of the musicians and dance troupe members choose to rest in the hotel or take a walk nearby.
Miwa-chan couldn't sit still when she went anywhere, so she invited the two girls who participated in the harmony, and the three of them went out shopping.
She has no sense at all that she is the biggest star in Fukuoka today.
Everyone in Fukuoka, and even Kyushu, knows that DREAMS COME TRUE is coming to hold a concert.
Today and tomorrow, the audience coming to watch the concert comes from all over Kyushu, as well as from Motonari Mori's hometown area across from Fukuoka, and there are even enthusiastic fans from Tokyo.
Because the band came to hold a concert, the hotels in Fukuoka were almost full these days.
At noon, Shinichi Iwahashi went out for a walk and saw people holding DREAMS COME TRUE in their hands.
Today, Saturday, there is definitely more than one concert by the band in Fukuoka City, but the biggest one is undoubtedly the one by DREAMS COME TRUE.
Walking among these spectators, Iwahashi Shinichi felt a little bit refreshed as the man in black behind the scenes who completed a perfect crime walked through the crime scene as if nothing had happened.
The press release for Sunny Day Baby was sent out yesterday, and it didn’t rain today. Not only did the team members feel lucky, but even the audience who came to see the concert felt that God was on the side of Dolimuzcom Tulu.
.
Come to Fukuoka. Shinichi Iwahashi has nothing to do anyway. Besides shopping, he also wanted to find out about the live house performances here and where most of the singers on the road show are.
Fukuoka is the hometown of actor Ken Takakura, the hometown of comedian Tamori, the magical top idol (former) couple Hiromi Go and Seiko Matsuda, and super talented singers like Yosui Inoue.
And the iconic band The Checkers, who have led the trend in all aspects.
Lots of talent.
Therefore, in the entertainment industry, there is also a saying that "Fukuoka produces stars."
There were not many singers at the Saturday road show, and Shinichi Iwahashi planned to come back tomorrow morning—provided it doesn’t rain.
Every big city has a street that is closed to motor vehicles on Sundays, which has become a "paradise" for young people to gather. On this day, road show singers and comedians will definitely gather there.
Of course, the excitement on Sunday has a lot to do with the fact that students have classes on Saturday and have a holiday on Sunday.
The idea of watching the road show was put on hold for the time being, and Iwahashi Shinichi took some time off.
Anyway, he was bored. Remembering that Miwa-chan enthusiastically invited him to play GAMEBOY yesterday, he decided to buy one and go backstage in the afternoon. He could also play Tetris to kill time before the show started.
After making up his mind, he stood on the roadside waiting for a taxi and told the driver to take him to the department store.
It's almost noon, and the sky, which was just a little bright before, is getting a little brighter again.
——————
On the street, the billboards facing the sun also began to light up. The taxi stopped and Shin Iwahashi got out of the car. As soon as he arrived at a new place, he subconsciously looked at the surrounding environment.
Opposite, the billboard of the Fukuoka Central Bank is quite conspicuous.
The model is a teenage girl——
As pretty as a doll.
Iwahashi Shinichi glanced at the billboard and took it back. He was about to walk into the department store. But as soon as he took a step forward, he felt something was wrong and turned around to look at the billboard.
To be precise, it's the little girl on the billboard.
