Chapter 89: The Prince Goes West and Returns to Beimang

In the seventh year of Emperor Huangchu of Wei Dynasty, on the Dingsi day of the summer month, Emperor Cao Pi died in Jiafu Hall at the age of forty. His posthumous title was: Emperor Wen.

In June, Wuyin Day, Emperor Wen was buried in Shouyang Mausoleum.

The location of Shouyang Mausoleum is on the side of Mang Mountain in the east of the outer city of Luoyang City. It is not too far away from Changling Mausoleum and the new tomb of Xiahou Boren, the general who conquered the south.

The original Marquis' Mansion in Changling Township has now been replaced with four gilded official script characters of "Chanling Marquis' Mansion". However, at this moment, the joy and bustle of the past is no longer the same in the mansion, but endless desolation remains.

It has been one year since Xia Houshang passed away.

Since ancient times, when a loved one dies, everyone should observe filial piety for three years. No other reason than that after everyone is born in this world, their parents must take care of and nurture them for three years.

Three years of mourning is not only a way of remembering, but also a way of repaying.

The young boy at that time has grown into a resolute adult after experiencing many things.

Xia Houxuan is also eighteen years old. Now he has to shoulder the burden of a family.

For no reason, the head of the family, Marquis Changling, who was dressed in mourning, remembered the children's song from the last years of the previous dynasty:

The marquis is not a marquis, the king is not a king, and thousands of people ride up to Bei Mang.

Taibaiyuan, Jingu River, the bones of countless princes and generals from ancient times are all buried here.

Since Guangwu Zhongxing and Luoyang was established as the capital in the Early Han Dynasty, five emperors have been buried in Mangshan. Naturally, this includes the original tomb of Emperor Guangwu.

Ran Geng, Lu Buwei, Fan Kuai, Ban Chao, Jia Yi, Deng Chen, Deng Zhi, Ji Tong, Liu Kuan, Fan Chong and other famous ministers and generals, thieves and thieves from the previous generation were buried here.

I remember that back then, Emperor Guangwu wiped out the heroes, defeated Wang Mang, and regained the Han Dynasty. But now, he would never have imagined that he would be buried with the new emperor of the Wei Dynasty in Mang Mountain.

Xia Houxuan raised his eyes and saw the mausoleum of the Han family, which rested on the river and stepped on the mountain, with a garden of thousands of cypresses. It was truly a wonderful sight. However, he had no intention of appreciating the wonder of the cypresses in front of him.

Over the past year, his mind has become more mature, and his heart has become as clear as a clear lake.

A flash occurred in his mind, and he suddenly remembered another folk legend:

Legend has it that a long time ago, on the Kunlun Mountains in the west of the Western Regions, there lived an old Taoist priest who had achieved Taoism. The old Taoist priest had two young disciples, and the three of them practiced in a fairy cave.

One day, the old Taoist pointed to a cauldron in the cave and said to his two disciples: "Today I am going to visit a fellow Taoist in the outer world as a guest. What is cooked in this cauldron is a monster python caught from the East China Sea."

, the demon python can only be subdued by being steamed in this cauldron. You two must remember that peach wood and firewood must be placed under the cauldron from time to time, and water must be added to the cauldron from time to time. Remember, remember!

"After the old Taoist priest finished speaking, he rode on the crane and left.

As a result, the two disciples began to take turns to unload firewood and add water to the cauldron day and night.

In this way, hundreds of years have passed in a flash, but their master has not come back yet. Even though the two young disciples are very patient, they are still enlightened people, but after all, the Taoism is still shallow, and it has been a long time, so they can't help but feel a little anxious.

One day, the eldest disciple said to his younger brother: "Master doesn't know whether he will come back in a few hundred years. Seeing that this demon python has been boiled for hundreds of years, it seems that its magic power is already weak. Why don't we take the opportunity to go down the mountain and play with it?"

"

The junior brother had already had this idea. So, the two of them lit a fire, filled the cauldron with water, and went down the mountain. Although they had fun along the way, they didn't know why but they couldn't feel relieved.

The master told them what to do, so they bought some wine and meat in a hotel and hurried back. However, the terrible thing still happened. They saw that the fire at the bottom of the cauldron had long been extinguished, and after the fairy water in the cauldron cooled down, it was also

The yellow python drank it all!

The two masters and apprentices panicked and hurriedly followed the traces left by the demon python. Not long after the two brothers followed, they discovered that the yellow python was escaping towards the East China Sea, and the place where the demon python had walked was

, leaving a yellow waterway. The two hurriedly chased along the yellow waterway. Soon the yellow python discovered them and hurriedly changed its route and ran to the north. The two brothers hurriedly took a shortcut to intercept it. When the demon python saw it, it hurriedly ran to the north.

After turning around for a while, he finally ran towards the East China Sea.

Elderly folk often say that the waterway left by this demonic python is the Jiuqu River in the world today.

Besides, when the immortal master returned to the fairy cave in Kunlun Mountain, he saw that the fairy fire under the big cauldron had been extinguished for a long time, and the yellow python in the big cauldron was no longer there. He hurriedly called his two young disciples, but no one answered.

The immortal understood everything. He sighed and said: "The two little beasts let the evil python go, and it will cause harm to the world again."

So the immortal leader immediately rode on a crane and chased eastward.

The two young disciples chased until dark again, and saw that the demon python had escaped into the East China Sea. They had no choice but to take a rest. When they were about to take a rest, the master had already arrived on a crane. The master shouted:

"Beasts! You two made the yellow python leave disasters to the world. All things are reincarnated, and evil deeds must have their consequences. Then you two will guard this waterway forever!" After saying that, the master cast a spell with tears in his eyes, and removed his two limbs.

This little disciple turned into two mountains, guarding both sides of the waterway forever.

Later, people called the yellow waterway left by the yellow python a river, and the mountain that the two young disciples turned into was called Zhuimang Mountain. Later, people on the south bank of the river felt that Zhuimang Mountain was not good-sounding, so they called the mountain Zhuimang Mountain.

It was renamed Mangshan and is still used today.

This was a legend that he believed deeply in when he was a child. Xia Houxuan couldn't help but laugh at himself. The so-called Taoism was created by Zhang Ling of the previous dynasty at Huming Mountain. Today, the Taoist sect is inherited by Zhang Lu of Longhu Mountain in the south of the Yangtze River.

However, looking back at the founding of Taoism, it has only been a few decades. This folk anecdote is naturally fabricated.

But for a moment, Xia Houxuan really hoped that his father had just gone to the outer world to travel with some immortal, and maybe he would come back in a few years?

But how could this be true?

When Xia Houxuan thought about this, he only remembered in his eyes and heart the early spring of the second year of Huang Chu. In that year, his father was just about to rush to Jingzhou to take office. It was that year that his father put his "quality" sword in his own

Xiahou Xuan understood that his father wanted him to continue to protect Xiahou and the Wei Dynasty.

Those who have a sharp blade must use it to protect the people behind them, the home behind them, and the country behind them.

At that time, I was just a nine-year-old child, but now, time flies by, things have changed, and it is already the first year of Taihe under the new emperor.

The bleak west wind blew towards his face, blowing the skirt of his plain white clothes. However, the body under the plain clothes now is no longer the thin and thin body of the past.

——————

Bingzhou, Taiyuan County, Jinyang County.

General Zhenwei and Governor Wu Zhi and Wu Jizhong of Hebei Province were in a daze at the moment. It was obviously the hot summer in June, but he could not feel the slightest warmth in his heart.

The general with five senses who he worked so hard to assist, the Prince of Wei whom he followed so hard, his King of Wei, and his Majesty, finally passed away.

At this moment, he was like a clay and wood sculpture, sitting blankly in front of the sandalwood table. The paper in front of him contrasted with his pale face, and the wolf mill tube in his hand could not help but tremble slightly, as if

His shoulders were shaking slightly.

He recalled the scene one day when Emperor Wen was still the Five Generator Generals. On that day, there were more than thirty guests at the banquet in the house of General Wu Genzhong. Zhu Jianping, the Divine Minister, was also present at the banquet. Emperor Wen raised a

Holding a glass of wine, he asked Zhu Jianping with a smile, how old will he be?

Zhu Jianping replied: "The general's life span is eighty years. When he reaches forty years old, there will be minor disasters. I am willing to protect him."

Wu Zhi was crying, and suddenly a wry smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. Over the past few years, Emperor Wen had been dealing with government affairs during the day, and at night he was either having fun, composing poems, drinking and feasting. It turned out that Zhu Jianping said that his life span was forty.

That means night is also taken into account.

Wu Zhi recalled the time when Emperor Wu conquered Hebei and rebuilt Nanpi City.

At that time, no one in the world could compete with Emperor Wu anymore. The great-looking Zhonglang General back then was just a young man in his twenties. And he himself was only in his thirties. The Zhonglang General at that time, and

Cao Zidan, Cao Wenlie, Xiahou Boren, Zhu Yancai, Chen Changwen, Sima Zhongda, and myself spent all day hanging out in Nanpi, hunting and drinking, composing poems, fencing and riding horses. At that time, I still had a few skills.

Share the youthful spirit.

Thinking about this, Wu Zhi felt a sense of sadness in his heart. Among the people, Zhu Shuo, Zhu Yancai, and Xiahou Boren had also passed away suddenly with Emperor Wen. Even though he and Zhu Shuo had conflicting temperaments, Wu Zhi at this time was still

I can't help but feel sad that the rabbit is dead and the fox is dead.

Wu Zhi took out the letter Cao Pi wrote to himself:

"...Every time I think about my trip to Nanpi in the past, I can't forget it. I thought about the Six Classics wonderfully, played hundreds of stories at ease, played chess, and finally played six games, entertained my heart with high talk, and listened to the mourning kite."

Bei Chang, South Hotel and Restaurant, sweet melons are floating in the clear spring, and plum blossoms are sinking in the cold water. The day has disappeared, and then the bright moon comes, and we ride together to visit the back garden. The carriage wheels are moving slowly, and there is no sound, and the breeze is gentle.

When I get up at night, I sing a little sad song, the joy comes and goes, and I feel sad. I think it is difficult to be happy forever, and I can't believe it. Now the results are different, each in one place. Yuan Yu has passed away and turned into a foreign object.

, every time I think of it, when can I say it? At the time of the Ruibin period, the scenery is fanciful, the providence of heaven is warm, and the fruits are abundant. I am traveling in time, following the meander of the river in the north, and those who follow me sing bamboo slips to open the way, and literature is entrusted behind me.

The chariot and its joints are different at the same time. Things are different and people are different. What's the matter with me? Now I'm sending a horse to Ye, so I'm going to pass you by in vain. Go ahead and love yourself, Pi Bai."

[Note 1: This is a quotation from the original text of "A Book with Wu Zhi" written by Cao Pi.]

Wu Zhi couldn't help but laugh again. This time, he laughed because of Emperor Wen's astonishing literary talent. Everyone said that Cao Zhi, King of Yongqiu, was unparalleled in literary talent, but in his own eyes, Emperor Wen's writing was definitely not as good as Cao Zhi's.

Down!

This is as if Wu Zhi believes that his talents are not inferior to those of Chen Qun and Chen Changwen.

Thinking back to the time when the prince first ascended the throne of King Wei, he encouraged himself: "On the trip to Nanpi, there are three survivors, Lie, Danlongfei, some generals or marquises. Now I am my son, who has been dismissed from office in Qi Chi. Wherever I traveled

, alone is not as good as the door. The bottle is full of shame, but I can have no regrets. The road is not far, and now I hear about it again."

At the beginning, Cao Zidan and Cao Wenlie also accompanied Emperor Wen on their visit to Nanpi. After Emperor Wen ascended the throne, Cao Zhen and Cao Xiu also received titles and generals as kin, but they themselves were just a long history. Therefore, Emperor Wen's move

Only then did he feel relieved. Soon after, after Emperor Wen accepted Zen on behalf of the Han Dynasty, he lived up to his promise. He finally became a general and became a marquis, and like Cao Zhen and Cao Xiu, he began to guard one side.

But now...

Wu Zhi couldn't help but smile bitterly.

At this moment, Wu Zhi was hurt not only by the death of Cao Pi. He was also hurt by why he, a confidant and friend, had followed Emperor Wen all his life, but in the end, he failed to become Emperor Wen's minister.

Wu Zhi seemed unwilling to think about it any more. He wiped the tears on his cheeks with his sleeves, picked up the wolf hair, and wrote the "Poetry of Longing" that will be passed down through the ages:

"I am sad and cherish the sorrow of Yin, and I cannot live in Yin sorrow. I can't sit down when I move, and I hesitate when I go in and out. I think that I have received the grace of the Holy Lord, and I am honored and distinguished from all others. I say that I will live forever, and my ambition should be relaxed. Why should I abandon it in my mind?

I return to Huanglong. I rely on my generosity, and my tears are like a stream of tears. There is no use in leaving me, and my reputation will not be remembered even if I die. I am generous to myself, and I am a filial husband."

Although the tortoise has a long life, it still has time to survive; the snake rides on the mist and eventually becomes ashes.
