1091,Zhao Xiaochun

It was already dark at night, and Little Red Horse Academy gradually became quiet. The night wind was a bit strong, blowing in the woods, and the leaves rustled. The wind carried the melodious and lazy chirping of cicadas, mixed with the faint beeping of chickens.

The children were picked up by their parents one after another, the lights were bright, but the crowd gradually became less and less, and they all returned to their warm homes.

After listening to the martial arts stories on the radio, Lao Li finally sat up and drank half of the herbal tea in the cup. He stood up and stretched, looking around. The lights were lonely, and the melon seeds had all gone home.

He took two steps, bent down and picked up a rubber ball. It was played by Xiaobai and Dudu at night. The two naughty little boys threw it in the yard without cleaning it up after playing with it.

He threw the ball on the ground and it bounced. He tried to bounce it with his feet, just like Zhang Tan had done before. But the ball landed on his toes and bounced away.

Lao Li is funny. I used to think it was easy when I watched Zhang Tan beat the ball, but when I actually did it, I realized how difficult and skillful it was.

He bent down again to pick up the ball, held it in his hand, walked to the door of the courtyard, locked the iron door, returned to the classroom, turned on the light, put the ball in the designated area, and then went up to the second floor and met tonight.

Teacher Xiaoman is on duty.

"Thank you for your hard work, Xiaoman. How many children are left?"

"Only two."

"Xiaojun and Zhao Xiaochun?"

"That's them."

"Then it will probably be around midnight."

"That's what their parents said."

During this time, the last remaining children in Xiaohongmali were always Xiaojun and Zhao Xiaochun, and their families always had to wait until after midnight to pick them up.

Lao Li has been in Xiaohongma for many years and has seen many children who come home late. Xi'er and Cheng Cheng used to be the last ones to go home. But now both children can be picked up early.

He even often stayed at Zhang Tan's house.

The miserable days of these two poor little ones are over, and their lives are quite happy now.

Lao Li has seen many little red horse children coming and going, passing hundreds of children. Overall, not many are as lucky as Xi'er and Cheng Cheng.

Now, he hopes that the lives of Xiaojun and Zhao Xiaochun will get better and better.

At this time every day, Lao Li would come to the second floor to chat with the little teacher on duty to make sure who else was there. If the last kid didn't leave, he wouldn't leave and would stay until the end.

Lao Li went downstairs, turned off the lights in the classroom on the first floor, came to the yard, and sat all night. At this moment, he didn't want to sit anymore. He just wanted to stand and walk a few steps. He walked in circles in the yard, and the moon hung brightly.

Above the head, it was cold and faint.

In the dormitory on the second floor, the lights are dim. Only three or two night lights are on in the corners. The rows of bunk beds are empty, but most of them have quilts and pillows, and occasionally rag dolls. It is the school season now, and every year in the middle of the year

Little Red Horse has the largest number of people and the busiest time. Most of the beds in the dormitory are used by children, but now they have all been taken home.

Two boys were lying on the bunk beds near the window. Moonlight filtered in from the window, and it was Zhao Xiaochun who could be seen on the lower bunk bed.

Zhao Xiaochun couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned on the bed, making various noises. The boy on the upper bunk couldn't bear it, so he turned over, stretched his head out of the bed, and said to Zhao Xiaochun below: "Zhao Xiaochun, don't move! It's so noisy."

Zhao Xiaochun subconsciously retorted: "I want you to take care of it!"

The boy on the upper bunk pushed back without showing any signs of weakness, "You disturbed me!"

Zhao Xiaochun was just about to continue to retaliate when he suddenly thought that Xiaojun on the upper bunk had comforted him today. He couldn't help but swallow the words that came to his lips, snorted, said no more, closed his eyes, and lay on the bed quietly for a while.

It turned over and over again, making a rustling sound.

Xiaojun, who was on the upper bunk, once again lay on the edge of the bed and said condescendingly to him: "Are you sick?"

Zhao Xiaochun's anger suddenly spiked. He didn't care whether Xiaojun comforted him today or not, even if it saved his life, he would fight back at this moment.

"You're the one who's sick! Mind your own business."

"Zhao Xiaochun, do you want to be beaten?"

"Come down, will I be afraid of you if we fight?"

Just when the two had a disagreement and were about to fight, Teacher Xiaoman heard the noise and came over.

"What's wrong? What are you still chatting about? Go to bed quickly."

Zhao Xiaochun said: "Xiaojun scolded me."

Teacher Xiaoman looked at Xiaojun, and Xiaojun said: "It's Zhao Xiaochun who is tossing and turning on the bed. It's so noisy that I can't sleep."

Zhao Xiaochun retorted: "Then you go to sleep on another bed."

Xiaojun said: "This is my bed."

Teacher Xiaoman interrupted them and asked them to stop arguing, and asked Zhao Xiaochun why he didn't sleep.

"Can't sleep."

"What are you thinking about?"

Zhao Xiaochun was silent for a moment and said: "My father is going to have surgery in a few days. I am very worried about him."

Xiaojun on the upper bunk was stunned when he heard this. Teacher Xiaoman didn't expect it either. He immediately comforted Zhao Xiaochun not to think too much and left after finishing the matter.

Zhao Xiaochun still couldn't sleep, tossing and turning on the bed. Xiao Jun on the upper bunk was so noisy that he couldn't sleep, but he didn't say anything and lay quietly on the bed, his eyes wide open in the dark, in a daze, which made Zhao Xiaochun

Thought he was asleep.

The time was very difficult. Xiaojun felt that it was almost dawn outside, and Zhao Xiaochun finally stopped turning over. He was called out by Teacher Xiaoman.

His mother came to pick him up.

Xiaojun quietly raised his body and looked towards the door of the dormitory. He saw Zhao Xiaochun's mother standing at the door waiting for Zhao Xiaochun. He stretched out his hand to hold Zhao Xiaochun, but Zhao Xiaochun put his hands behind his back and walked past her.

His mother said a few words to Teacher Xiaoman and left with Zhao Xiaochun.

When Xiaojun saw Teacher Xiaoman looking towards him, he quickly lay down, his eyes sparkling in the night. Zhao Xiaochun was gone and the bed stopped making noise, but he couldn't sleep anymore.

Wang Na took Zhao Xiaochun to the yard, greeted Lao Li, and left. On the way, she asked Zhao Xiaochun: "Are you happy at Little Red Horse today?"

"Hmm~" Zhao Xiaochun responded lazily. Wang Na didn't take it seriously. Her son seemed to have entered the rebellious stage early, and she was used to it.

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! "What did you do?" Wang Na asked routinely, not only at Little Red Horse, but also after Zhao Xiaochun came home from school, she

I'll ask that too.

"Oh, why do you ask every day? I'm not a three-year-old! No one can lie to me."

"Of course I know no one can lie to you. I just want to know what makes you happy."

"There's nothing fun about it. The kids there are too stupid and no one can talk to them."

"Isn't Xiaojun the same age as you? You guys still have bunk beds."

"Xiaojun? That's a big fool."

"Don't curse. Since you think Little Red Horse is boring, then why don't you go there again?"

Zhao Xiaochun was stunned when he heard this. He wanted to say something, but his personality made him only say two words, "Whatever!"

"I want to ask for your opinion. Do you agree or disagree?"

"Whatever you say! Don't ask me." Zhao Xiaochun said irritably.

Wang Na didn't ask any more questions, got on the electric scooter and let Zhao Xiaochun sit on it.

"Hold on to mom's clothes."

"Don't catch me!"

"Hold on, otherwise it's not safe."

"Don't catch me!"

Zhao Xiaochun leaned back, grabbed the back of the electric car with both hands, and moved away from Wang Na.

When Wang Na saw this, she didn't say anything. She took him on a small electric car and went home. Tonight she was accompanying Zhao Rongli in the hospital. After Zhao Rongli fell asleep, she came to the little red horse to pick up Zhao Xiaochun. She had not been there for several nights.

I'm going home. I'm going back tonight to change my clothes and have a little rest. I'll go there early tomorrow morning.

"What should I do?"

The little electric car drove into West Chang'an Street, and while waiting for the traffic light, Zhao Xiaochun suddenly asked.

"What should I do? Xiaochun, mom didn't understand what you said." Wang Na said.

"I'm not going to Little Red Horse at night, what should I do? Am I alone at home? Are you relieved?"

"My work in the restaurant has been suspended for now. I will wait until your father's surgery is completed before I go back to work, so you can follow me tonight and we will go to the hospital to take care of your father."

There was silence behind her. She didn't hear Zhao Xiaochun's reply until the green light turned on and the electric motor started again.

When there was another traffic light intersection, Wang Na stopped and waited, and at the same time asked Zhao Xiaochun behind her, "Do you want to go to Little Red Horse?"

Zhao Xiaochun said impatiently: "Didn't you just say that! I will take care of dad with you at night..."

He said something later, but Wang Na didn't hear it clearly, so she asked, "What did you just say?"

"I asked, is dad's surgery dangerous?"

"Don't worry, it's okay. It's a mature operation and the certainty is high."

"oh."
