268. The first comic book (1/3)

 "Malanhua Malanhua

Not afraid of wind or rain

Hardworking people are talking

Please bloom now..."

In the quiet Little Red Horse Academy, the singing voice of Little Naiyin rang out.

People passing by the gate of the academy heard the soft singing sound floating in the air, and then looked in. They could only see a figure on the edge of the woods in the yard, but they couldn't see who it was.

The cartoonists in Building 2 were writing furiously to catch up with the schedule. Wu Shiying put down her brush, stood up, stretched, made another cup of black tea, walked to the window, and looked out at the scenery.

"This place is really nice, hidden away from the city." The speaker was another female painter in the studio, named Yang Xiaoxue.

From their position, they can see the bustling West Chang'an Street through the grove in the middle isolation zone and among the leaves and branches.

"Who is singing? It seems like they have been singing all morning." Wu Shiying asked curiously.

Yang Xiaoxue stopped moving and listened carefully. Sure enough, she heard a slight singing voice coming from the air. She smiled and said: "When I came to work, I heard someone singing. It was a child. The sound sounded like a child. He was not weaned yet.

kind of, and it seems to be the same song all the time.”

""Ma Lanhua, Malan Flower, I'm not afraid of wind or rain~" Wu Shiying sang a few lines and laughed loudly, "I'll go take a look and find this kid."

She works on the second floor and goes downstairs to listen to the sound.

Yang Xiaoxue put down her tea cup and followed her: "There should be no talented people in the academy during the day. Why are there children here today?"

The two of them went out, and the bright sunshine shone on them, making them warm and a bit dazzling.

"The weather is really nice today. The sound is in the woods next to Building 1. Let's go take a look," Wu Shiying said.

The further the two of them walked, the clearer they could hear the singing. Finally, they saw a child singing in the sunshine holding a microphone.

She wore a bright red coat and a blue red panda woolen hat on her head. She was sitting in a small chair, as bloated as a dumpling.

"It's Xiaobai." Wu Shiying recognized it and was curious as to why Xiaobai also came to Little Red Horse during the day.

She looked around and saw that there was no one else but her.

"Xiaobai~~~What are you doing here?" Wu Shiying and Yang Xiaoxue stepped forward and asked Xiaobai, who was singing.

Xiaobai had a dark face and looked indifferent. Yang Xiaoxue and Xiaobai were not familiar with each other, so she whispered that she was so cruel. Unexpectedly, Xiaobai heard it and immediately stared at her: "Why did you instigate me to pinch you?!!!"

Yang Xiaoxue apologized awkwardly and stuck out her tongue secretly. It was really cruel.

Malanhua and Bai Jianping left early this morning, and went to Zhejiang with Bai Zhiqiang and Yang Yi. The two soon-to-be-in-laws met for the first time to discuss marriage.

Xiaobai was sent to Little Red Horse by Ma Lanhua and handed over to Zhang Tan's care.

Xiaobai cried for a while. He had not looked good all morning. He had a dark face and a fierce look. He sat in the sun and sang on the karaoke machine. He only sang one song, "Ma Lanhua", which showed how deep his resentment was.

Xiaomi leaned over at the gate of Building 1 and looked here. She didn't leave today. She stayed with Xiaohongma to accompany Xiaobai. But it seemed that Xiaobai didn't need her company. She sang to the top by herself, and she did that repeatedly.

First, when Xiaomi was bored, she ran to the classroom to read picture books and watch TV. Occasionally, she ran out to see Xiaobai.

As for Zhang Tan, he is currently working on the balcony on the third floor, basking in the sun, drinking tea, listening to Xiaobai singing, and overlooking the Little Red Horse and the West Chang'an Street in the distance.

It’s not that he doesn’t go down to accompany Xiaobai, it’s that Xiaobai doesn’t need it and is cruel to him.

Zhang Tan felt that Xiaobai needed to be alone for a while, so he left her alone and let her vent. After singing for most of the morning, she should be almost done.

Wu Shiying looked up and saw Zhang Tan. Zhang Tan waved to her and came downstairs.

Wu Shiying said: "The first chapter of the comic has been drawn, do you want to read it?"

Zhang Tan is thinking about this. The first chapter is the most important, and the style and tone of the entire comic is set here.

"Let's go and have a look." Zhang Tan said, "Xiaomi, let's go see some painting. Xiaobai, are you tired of singing? Let's go see some painting."

Xiaomi ran over with a pug doll in her arms. Xiaobai pouted and puffed out her cheeks without moving, but Zhang Tan could see that the little girl had lost a lot of her anger and no longer kept away from strangers.

He walked over with a smile, squatted in front of Xiaobai, and like a magic trick, took out Xiaobai's blue sippy cup and advised her to drink some water first. She must be thirsty after singing.

Wu Shiying and Yang Xiaoxue stood not far away and watched. Yang Xiaoxue asked in a low voice in surprise: "Boss Zhang is so gentle. Who is this Xiaobai? Why is he so nice to her?"

Wu Shiying shook her head. She didn't know, but weren't gentle men more attractive?

Following Zhang Tan's trick, Xiaobai finally decided to leave, and followed Xiaomi to the comic studio.

Today I have drawn the first episode of "Coco" and colored it. It is a complete version and all the processes have been completed.

Zhang Tan stood in front of the computer, looked at it very carefully, discussed it with everyone, and finally made three suggestions for revision, but left the rest unchanged.

Wu Shiying and others were very excited, and the first draft was basically passed, which showed that this trip to collect ideas was very effective.

Zhang Tan said: "After the second chapter is drawn, it can be published on the online platform. If it is serialized, we have enough manpower, so there is no need to worry about not being able to keep up with the progress."

One author can update it once a week, and it's even easier for 10 of them to work together.

Xin Xiaoguang said confidently: "The script has been finalized a long time ago, and it has taken so much time to digest. As long as we start drawing, the progress will be very fast, and there will be no jams. So, boss, should we consider the second part at the same time?"

It’s about the work.”

It is indeed a luxury for 10 people to draw a comic. Moreover, "Coco" is not a full-length work, but a medium-length work at most. The total length is set at 10 chapters and 200 pages in total, which is just the size of a single volume.

"It's really time to consider new works. Do you have any ideas?" Zhang Tan asked.

Xin Xiaoguang and Wu Shiying looked at each other, and Xin Xiaoguang said: "There is creativity, but it is just an idea and has not yet formed a relatively complete script."

Zhang Tan asked them to list the ideas they thought of first and find an opportunity to discuss them. Of course, he would also think about them.

Zhang Tan has a lot of good comics in his mind, but he still wants to ask everyone first. Let's think about it together. We can't always count on him. The studio is full of young people. When we have the most creative ideas, we should be able to collide when we get together.

Produces more sparks.

When he came out of the studio, the sun had already reached his head. It was noon. Zhang Tan lowered his head and looked at the two little girls holding hands at his feet. It was time to find food for them.

"Let's go eat." Zhang Tan took the children out. There was not enough time at noon and there was no food at home, so he planned to go to Huangjiacun to find a small restaurant.

"Xiaobai~~~~Where are you going?" Xiaomi shouted.

After leaving the gate, Xiaobai turned left and walked towards the intersection, while Zhang Tan and Xiaomi went to the right and went to the village.

Xiaobai was stunned. He pointed his little finger towards the intersection and opened his mouth to say something, but suddenly his mouth got stuck and he didn't say anything in the end.

She lowered her head and walked back slowly. Xiaomi took two steps forward, took her hand and asked, "Xiaobai, where were you going just now?"

Xiaobai said: "I thought my aunt was still there, so I could ask her to go home and make some food."
