606, the gift giver

Zhang Tan and Xiaobai set off to Sichuan to visit Grandma Jiang on the Mid-Autumn Festival.

They made an impromptu decision to start this quick trip the afternoon before. In fact, it couldn't be said to be just a quick trip. They stayed in Pujiang for one night. The two of them bought a lot of things in the mall, and some old people wore them.

There are clothes, shoes and socks, supplements for the elderly to eat and drink, and a smartphone that can video.

On the way to Sichuan, Xiaobai didn't stop for a moment. She was thinking about the smartphone and how she could teach her grandma how to pull.

She is very smart. Zhang Tan learned it after being taught twice, but she is still not very proficient in using it.

Like me, Zhang Tan thought.

They took a 7 a.m. flight and arrived at Chengdu Airport at 11:30 a.m. Then Zhang Tan rented an off-road vehicle and drove from the airport to Baijia Village.

Xiaobai was sitting in the back seat, looking out the car window from time to time to see if the sun above their heads was going to set. They had to get home before the sun went down, otherwise the Mid-Autumn Festival would be over.

Xiaobai's heart flew home first, nagging, worrying that her grandma would be lonely and without a partner. She knew this feeling deeply, it was too painful, like a bird in a cage.

She doesn't want her grandma to be like this. But the reality is that grandma is probably like this. Her uncle and aunt are not here, and she is not here either. Who else can grandma find? Oh, by the way, she forgot Dunzi, and Dunzi will talk to grandma.

She warned Dunzi.

However, Dunzi is someone else's baby, and he still has his own mother to take care of.

Thinking of this, Xiaobai was so anxious that he wished he could grow a pair of wings so that he could fly back. If he wanted to go back later, he could just flap his wings.

Xi'er said that she would have a pair of wings when she grew up a little. Xiaobai had laughed at her, but now she also longs to grow a pair of wings like Xi'er. She doesn't need to grow up a little more, she is already better than Xi'er.

The son is one year older. She hopes that the wings will grow right away, because her grandmother can't wait any longer.

Zhang Tan comforted Xiaobai while driving. The car finally drove into Baijia Village at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, with the sun still hanging above the mountain peaks.

Baijia Village seemed very quiet, and the busy people were still in the fields and did not go home.

The sun above our heads is still shining brightly, but it is no longer as hot as in the summer. Cool air is constantly coming out from the mountains. The weather is getting cooler, and it will even feel a little chilly at night. If you sit in the yard to enjoy the coolness, you must cover yourself with a towel and blanket.

Zhang Tan and Xiaobai parked the car and got out of the car, and saw the red brick houses on the hillside.

"Chongya~~~~" Xiaobai got out of the car and ran towards home. He didn't want any of his things. We'll wait until people arrive first.

"Grandma—Grandma! Xiaobai is back—"

"Run slowly, don't fall." Zhang Tan warned from behind, but it didn't work. Now Xiaobai couldn't listen to this. Her voice was urgent, and she only had grandma in her eyes. She was very excited to see grandma soon.

Zhang Tan took the suitcase out of the trunk and walked towards the hillside.

The road is a dirt road and very muddy. It rained last night and turned into a mud road.

In Zhang Tan's field of vision, Xiaobai's feet slipped, he flopped and fell to the ground, but he quickly got up. His little hands were covered with mud. He lowered his head and looked at his clothes and shoes, which were also stained with mud.

She became a clay doll.

She turned back to look at Zhang Tan, smiled awkwardly and said, "I'm miserable~~"

There was also mud on her face, and she looked pitiful, as if she had done something wrong and was waiting to be punished.

But Zhang Tan was not angry and said with a smile: "Does it hurt if you fall? Does it matter?"

Xiaobai shook his head.

"You look so funny now, Xiaobai, you have turned into a clay doll."

“Ho ho ho~~~”

Xiaobai smiled awkwardly. Seeing that Boss Zhang didn't blame her, she breathed a sigh of relief and continued running home, but she stopped yelling.

When Zhang Tan arrived home with his suitcase, Xiaobai stood in the corridor and told him: "Grandma is not at home, she is gone."

Zhang Tan: "Don't worry, grandma must have moved around, maybe going somewhere to play."

"Huh?" Xiaobai said in surprise: "Playing?"

"Let's go for a walk, not play. It's okay if she's not at home, otherwise you won't be cute when she sees you like this. You should take a bath first and change your clothes and shoes."

"I fell badly." Xiaobai looked at his little hand, his movements were hidden, but Zhang Tan still noticed, "What happened to your hand? Did you fall?"

"No." Xiaobai hid his little hands and put them behind his back.

"Show me, I won't blame you. In fact, I really wanted to run like you at that time."

"Then why don't you run?"

"I have to carry the box, but I can't run if I carry the box."

"oh."

"Show me your hands."

Xiaobai hesitated and finally stretched out his little hand and handed it to Zhang Tan.

There was a lot of mud on my little hand. It was injured from a fall, and a small piece of skin was broken, hiding a few grains of very fine sand.

"Does it hurt?" Zhang Tan asked.

Xiaobai shook his head, blew on the injured area, and said it no longer hurt.

"Where's the other hand? Show me."

Xiaobai handed over his other little hand. Fortunately, his left hand was not injured, but his right hand was unlucky.

"I'll wash your hands and clean your wounds first."

"oh."

Xiaobai obediently followed Zhang Tan into the house. He first cleaned the wound with clean water and carefully removed the sand from the wound. He moved gently and very carefully throughout the process.

Xiaobai stood in front of him, her eyes were almost at the same level as his. Her big eyes had been secretly looking at him. When she was discovered, she laughed and said that there was an oil thief in the kitchen. She had seen it...

"Okay, I've cleaned it up and put some plaster on you, but you can't touch your hands with water. You can't take a shower by yourself."

"Then Xiaobai won't take a shower."

"If your hand is not healed for one day, you will not be able to touch the water for one day. It may take four or five days."

"Then Xiaobai won't take a shower for four or five days."

"Will it stink?"

"Hahahahaha~~~~"

“Smells delicious.”

"You are not a little cantaloupe."

"Xiaobai also smells delicious!"

"Smells, Xiaobai, you must smell good, but don't you feel uncomfortable if you don't take a bath? It's healthier to take a bath."

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! Xiaobai heard it a little bit, and asked warily: "What do you want to live in? Why are you so rude? Do you think I know if you don't scold me? I am still a baby, I

Don’t know anything.”

"How about I help you take a bath."

Xiao Bai immediately looked around and landed on a dark stick beside the stove. It was the legendary fire stick.

"Is Teacher Jiang at home?"

At this time, a voice sounded in the living room.

Xiaobai was agitated and said to Zhang Tan in a panic: "There is a thief here to chat."

As she was about to get the dark fire stick, Zhang Tan stopped her and told her to calm down: "I'm sure you're not a thief. I'll go take a look. Don't panic."

"Teacher Jiang?"

Zhang Tan stood up: "Hey, here we are, Teacher Jiang is not at home, what do you want to see her for?"

The visitor was a man in his 30s, with a round, dark face and a round figure. He was wearing white-washed jeans and a black T-shirt.

"Who are you?"

"Who are you?"

They both asked at the same time.

Zhang Tan said: "Oh, I am...I am..."

I didn't think about how to explain my relationship with Teacher Jiang. The man in front of me became more and more suspicious. Fortunately, Xiaobai's voice sounded behind Zhang Tan.

"You are Baogu."

Zhang Tan:→_→

Xiaobai added: "You are Baogu, and I am the whisker on the tip of Baogu, hahaha~~"

"Xiao Bai? Are you Xiao Bai?" The man in the living room recognized Xiao Bai, but he was not sure because the melon boy was now dirty and covered in mud.

Xiaobai nodded and said she was Xiaobai, Baibai.

"Who are you from?"

The visitor smiled and explained that he was a former student of Teacher Jiang. Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival and he came to give some mooncakes to Teacher Jiang to try. His family sells mooncakes in the town.

He chatted with Zhang Tan for a few words. Teacher Jiang was not at home, so he didn't stay long, put down the gifts and left.

Only then did Zhang Tan notice that there were not only gifts from him, but also five gifts. It seemed that five groups of people had come before and those who had left their things had left.
