734. The Umbrella Is Small (1/2)

It was past ten o'clock in the evening. It was raining outside, the cold wind was howling, and the winter rain was lingering. It was extremely cold.

The children in Little Red Horse Academy were either taken away by their parents, or returned to the dormitories on the second floor to rest. However, the lights were still on in the classrooms on the first floor. Zhang Tan came in to take a casual look, but found something behind the bookshelves.

Two children were singing, one was Xi'er and the other was little Zheng Zheng.

Xi'er asked Zhang Tan if he wanted to hear them sing. Zhang Tan, who had originally planned to send them to the dormitory, immediately welcomed them with a smile.

Xi'er immediately sang happily:

“Dududu…dududu…”

 We walk hand in hand

Happily singing and traveling

 Whether it’s sunny or raining

 We are happy together”

Little Zheng Zheng hid aside shyly, not embarrassed to sing. From time to time, she peeked at Zhang Tan, squirming like a newly married daughter-in-law.

Xi'er asked her to sing together again, and Zhang Tan also encouraged her. Only then did little Zheng Zheng muster up the courage to sing along with Xi'er in a low voice:

“The stars are so beautiful tonight

Twinkle and twinkle are like your eyes

 Whether it’s sunny or raining

 We are happy together

 Want to be with you”

This song is called "Dudu Song". Zhang Tan heard teacher Xiaoman often sing it to the children.

The two children clapped their hands and sang, innocent and cute. Zhang Tan felt that the surroundings were suddenly as warm as spring. He put down the bag in his hand and the trivial matters in his heart, picked up a stool and sat down, following the singing of Xi'er and little Zheng Zheng.

He clapped his hands along with the rhythm, he could sing a little, and then he followed the fake Yu to make up for it, and got away with it. However, Xi'er, who told the truth, found out and picked him out by name. Hiahiahia laughed, and pointed it out to little Zheng Zheng, without giving any face.

Zhang Tan didn’t feel embarrassed and laughed because he was thick-skinned.

“I can’t sing, please teach me and I can sing.”

Xi'er enthusiastically taught Zhang Tan to sing "Dudu Song", but the best thing she sang was Dudu.

It is only right that Dudu sings well, after all, it is a natal song.

Xi'er was so playful that Zhang Tan forgot to take them to bed until little Zheng Zheng's mother came and wanted to take little Zheng Zheng home.

"Bye, bye, little Zheng Zheng." Xi'er abandoned Zhang Tan and chased out to wave goodbye to little Zheng Zheng. Regardless of the cold outside, she ran out of the classroom and stood under the eaves waving.

Little Zheng Zheng was held in her mother's arms, with her head resting on her shoulders. She looked at Xi'er with her big eyes. Her little body was tightly covered by her mother's coat. Her two small hands were blocked and she couldn't wave. She could only scream.

Bye-Bye.

Her mother hugged her and left, saying, "Xi'er likes you so much, Zheng Zheng."

Little Zheng Zheng nodded, thought for a moment and said, "Xi'er also likes you very much, mom."

Pan Xiangyi said in surprise: "Is it true? Xi'er also likes her mother? I haven't even talked to her. Why does she like me?"

Little Zheng Zheng nodded seriously and said in her mother’s ear: “Because you are mother.”

After saying that, she saw her father waiting outside the academy, and happily called her daddy, reaching out to let him hug her, but Pan Xiangyi moved away without leaving any trace, leaving little Zheng Zheng's father Zheng Youmin to hold her.

I could only laugh awkwardly.

Lao Li looked at the conflicting couple, shook his head and sighed.

In the classroom, Zhang Tan saw Xi'er still standing in the corridor looking at little Zheng Zheng who had left, and reminded her to come in quickly, it was cold outside.

“Little Zheng Zheng’s mother picked her up, and you have to go to bed too.” Zhang Tan said.

Xi'er asked: "Can you sing, Boss Zhang?"

 “Yes, you just taught me.”

“Then why don’t you sing it to Xi’er?”

Ouch, Xibaby is acting a bit like a spoiled child.

Zhang Tan opened his mouth and broke his voice, making Xi'er burst out laughing.

“hiahiahia~~~You are so funny, Boss Zhang.”

"Is it funny?"

 “hiahia is funny.”

 “Is it really funny?”

“It’s so funny, my dad is so funny too, hiahiahia~~~”

Zhang Tan, who originally wanted to pinch Xi'er's face, suddenly felt that this was not hurting him, but praising him.

He suddenly felt a little honored.

He had an idea and asked Xi'er: "Want to ride a big horse?"

“Huh?” Xi’er was surprised.

“Would you like to ride a big horse?”

Xi'er covered her mouth and snickered. She was already happy and nodded repeatedly.

“Hurry up then, before there are any other children.”

Zhang Tan took off his suit jacket, climbed down, and asked Xi'er to come up quickly.

Xi'er couldn't hide her happiness. Hiahia laughed and climbed up on Zhang Tan's back. The broad back felt particularly safe, so she lay down and said comfortably that she was going to sleep. Then she climbed up again.

He got up, smiled and said that he couldn't let Xiaobai see it, so he had better ride the big horse quickly.

 “Why can’t Xiaobai see it?”

Zhang Tan asked while carrying Xi'er around the bookshelf.

“You belong to Xiaobai, not Xi’er.”

Zhang Tan didn’t know that there was such a thing, but he did discover that Xiao Bai was actually a jealous person. Every time Yuanyuan came to see him, Xiao Bai would definitely appear in his sight immediately.

Zhang Tan carried Xi'er around on his back. When he got tired, he leaned against the wall and told her two stories. He rested for a while and continued riding until Tan Jin'er appeared at the door and looked at them in surprise.

 “Sister is here~~”

Xi'er immediately jumped off her horse, abandoned her horse, and rushed towards her sister.

"How can you pester Boss Zhang to ride a big horse!" Tan Jin'er scolded Xi'er with a straight face and unhappiness.

Zhang Tan stood up and followed him and said, "Xi'er didn't ask for it, I applied for it on my own initiative. I happened to be sitting all day today, so it's good to exercise."

"I'm sorry, Boss Zhang." Xi'er lowered her head, as if she had done something wrong, and apologized to Zhang Tan first.

“Don’t say you’re sorry, I took the initiative to ask you if you wanted to ride a big horse. Besides, I’m not tired. We had a lot of fun..."

Tan Jin'er noticed that he was dressed very formally today, with trousers and a white shirt, and a blue tie slung behind his back. When she came in just now, she saw Xi'er sitting on his back, holding on to the tie and yelling, "Go, go, go, go, go, go."

The trousers had some wrinkles from kneeling for a long time, and the white shirt had wrinkles from Xi'er sitting on her back. Tan Jin'er suddenly felt a little palpitating in her heart. Not only was the man in front of her not unhappy at all, but he had a gentle smile on his face.

, tried her best to speak for Xi'er, Balabala said a lot, just to make her believe that all this has nothing to do with Xi'er, it is his own free will, and he is very happy, so don't blame Xi'er.

Tan Jin'er was suddenly in a daze. The last person to protect Xi'er so much was her living father.

"Oh." Tan Jin'er said one word weakly, not knowing what else to say.

“Don’t blame Xi’er, Xi’er taught me how to sing today, so I have to thank her.” Zhang Tan continued to help Xi’er.

Xi'er nodded and said that her teaching was very good.

When it’s time to tell the truth, she won’t be modest at all.

“Thank you, Boss Zhang, we’re going back.” Tan Jin’er didn’t dare to look at Zhang Tan, and she led Xi’er to leave.

“Bye bye, Boss Zhang.” Xi’er said goodbye to Zhang Tan.

Zhang Tan followed up and asked, "Jin'er, did you come here on an electric bike? It's raining outside. I'll hold an umbrella and take you back."

Tan Jin'er quickly said no, and Xi'er also smiled and waved to him to go back to bed and say goodbye, exhaling cold air and saying that it was very cold outside.

Zhang Tan quickly returned to the classroom, found an umbrella, ran to the yard, and held it over the heads of the two sisters.

“I’ll take you to the car so you don’t get caught in the rain or catch a cold.”

Although an umbrella is small, to some people, it is like a piece of sky.
